Abstract This paper seeks to answer how well the unit managers in a community live up to its responsibility for rehabilitation. What opportunities and obstacles center managers feel that they have in the rehabilitation process and their expertise in rehabilitation are adequate. The essay is based on qualitative, in which six interviews were conducted to help capture the Heads of Unit subjective experiences. Five of the respondents are heads of units in the elderly, and an interview with the rehabilitation coordinator of the municipality. Respondents' comments and relevant literature form the basis for this essay.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how secondary teachers in the subject of history are using the textbook in their teaching. Four questions are being dealt with in this thesis. What importance is being placed on the use of history textbooks by the secondary teachers? What priorities do the secondary teachers have? How do they deal with student interests? And what is the importance of the secondary teachers? work experience? I have interviewed four secondary teachers with different work experience to complete this thesis. A Dictaphone has been used in all the interviews. Research has shown that textbooks now have a central role in teaching and the lack of alternative materials and reduction of teaching hours has made it difficult to replace. The main conclusions of the thesis are that the history textbook has a dual role depending on the teacher you ask, and that the history book is used differently by the teachers.

Under lågkonjunkturer är det ofta ungdomar som drabbas hårdast på arbetsmarknaden. Ungdomsarbetslösheten i den Europeiska unionen har i och med den senaste finanskrisen ökat dramatiskt och genomsnittet ligger på en nivå över 22 %. Det land som 2011 hade den högst rapporterade ungdomsarbetslösheten bland medlemsstaterna var Spanien, 46,4%, och den lägsta återfanns i Nederländerna med 7,6 %, dessa siffror har fram till mätningar i mars 2012 växt till 51,1% för Spanien och 9,3 % för Nederländerna. Denna uppsats ämnar att utifrån teorier kring utbildningssystem, arbetslöshet och dual marknadsteori jämföra varför stora skillnader i ungdomsarbetslöshet existerar mellan dessa två länder.Genom en deskriptiv studie av de båda ländernas utbildningssystem, arbetsmarknader och arbetsmarknadsåtgärder finner vi stora skillnader mellan länderna, som till viss del kan förklara varför Spaniens ungdomsarbetslöshet är mer än fem gånger så stor som Nederländernas. Vi fann skillnader mellan de båda ländernas utbildningssystem och vilka åtgärdsprogram som införts för att reducera ungdomsarbetslösheten samt att länderna drabbats olika svårt av den senaste recessionen..

I detta exjobb har en testplattform skapats för att kunna testa, utvärdera och jämföra olika pumpstyrningar i torr miljö. Testplattformen består av en simulerad pumpstation till vilken befintliga pumpstyrningar av valfri modell kan kopplas, det vill säga ett Hardware-In-the-Loop-system. De främsta fördelarna med en sådan plattform är flexibilitet, snabb feedback samt möjligheten att återskapa exakt samma förutsättningar för olika pumpstyrningar.Testplattformen har implementerats i LabVIEW på en PC som kommunicerar med pumpstyrningshårdvara via ett I/O-kort för analoga och digitala signaler.Det simulerade systemet konfigureras genom val av bland annat pumpar, pumpsump, inflöde och rörsystem. Utifrån de inmatade värdena och styrsignaler från pumpstyrningen simuleras sedan bland annat systemets flöden, energier och temperaturer. Nivån i sumpen, och övriga insignaler till pumpstyrningen, återkopplas från simuleringen.

Syftet med studien är att utreda sambandet mellan kultur, kognitiva självscheman och kommunikativt beteende samt att undersöka hur befintliga processinriktade kommunikationsmodeller hanterar kommunikation mellan individer från olika kulturer. Den kulturella variation som studeras är individualism-kollektivism och studien avser kommunikation mellan två individer där den ena kommunikationsparten kommer från en individualistisk kultur och den andra från en kollektivistisk kultur.Studien visar att kultur och självscheman ömsesidigt påverkar varandra och att såväl den kulturella bakgrunden som självschemana påverkar det kommunikativa beteendet. Två kulturspecifika kommunikationsstilar, högkontextkommunikation och lågkontextkommunikation, definieras. De båda kommunikationsstilarna används sedan som underlag i analysen av Shannon och Weavers, Schramms och Newcombs kommunikationsmodeller. Shannon och Weavers modell och Schramms första modell visar sig vara alltför linjära, utan utrymme för feedback medan Schramms tredje modell illustrerar kommunikationen som en loop av delad information.

The purpose of this study is to describe if and how a seasonal based company named SkiStar, learns through the exchange of experience and knowledge. We have analyzed gathered qualitative and empirical data to explore this subject. We conducted three semi-structured group interviews with employees from the SkiStarshop division. They described their routines and procedures in SkiStarshop. The collected data was processed and analyzed through our theoretical framework.

In the European Convention and the EU charter the principle ne bis in idem is provided, which implies that a person can not be tried or punished twice for the same offense. Since the European Convention was incorporated into Swedish law in 1995 the principles application has been discussed in tax law. Several cases have been examined by the European Court and the Supreme Court (HD) in order to determine whether dual punishment has occurred in the national rules concerning tax surcharge, tax crime and accounting fraud. The judicial trials have brought different assessments concerning the matter, which have resulted in a lack of clarity on the application of the principle in Swedish law.The thesis purpose is to clarify whether the principle ne bis in idem is applicable on the relationship between tax surcharge and tax crime, and the relationship between tax surcharge and accounting fraud.The authors' conclusion is that the principle ne bis in idem is applicable on the relationship between tax surcharge and tax crime because both sanctions are considered criminal in nature and concern the same crime, since they are based on substantially the same circumstances. Furthermore, the principle ne bis in idem is considered applicable on the relationship tax surcharge and accounting fraud, because both sanctions are criminal in nature and their circumstances have a connection, therefore they are considered as the same crime..

Internet is growing every day and this is leading to an address depletion of the current IPv4 addresses. A new version of IPv4, called IPv6, is the protocol for addressing computers that will deal with this problem. IPv4 and IPv6 are unfortunately not compatible with each other. IPv4 and IPv6 have to co-exist for a long time until IPv6 will be the dominant protocol.The purpose of this thesis is to examine how a transition could be done or more correctly, how to deploy IPv6 in an already existing IPv4 network. After that part of the report a case study at the local Internet service provider Junet AB will be conducted.

In the world of today, crises and crisis situations are inevitable parts of an organization?s everyday life and it is important for the organization to be prepared for these crises. The organization and its employees have to be in a constant state of alert and they should also have an organized plan for what they will do when (not if) the crisis occurs. The charter tour industry has during a long period of time been active in the global market. They serve thousands of travellers every day and it is the responsibility of the companies within the industry to make sure that their customers are safe and that crises can be prevented, or at least be handled.

The key purpose of this research has been trying to understand, and study how assyrian/syriac youth create their identity under the influence of two or several different cultures. We have also looked upon how different factors such as history, religion, language, family and school play a role in the youths identity development.We have used a qualitative method in our study where we have interviewed six assyrian/syriac youth. Because of their Christian faith the assyrian/syriac group has been forced to migrate from their countries to different parts around the world. In the new countries the group has been forced to create and live in a diasporaculture. The city Södertälje in Sweden has developed to become a metropole for this ethnic group where they have founded a substantial diasporaculture.

Sammandrag Information flödar genom samtidens organisationer och behöver systematiskt kontrolleras. Genom att implementera Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, även kallat ERP-system, kan företag enklare samla upp, strukturera och utnyttja all denna flödande information i ett och samma informationssystem. Majoriteten av alla företag misslyckas dock att fullständigt integrera ERP-systemet med sina vardagliga rutiner. Tidigare forskning tyder på att den utbildning slutanvändarna får och ett kontinuerligt ifrågasättande av organisationens värderingar, även kallat double-loop learning (DLL), påverkar organisationens möjlighet till en fullständig integration. Genom en kvalitativ flerfallsstudie på olika företag inom detaljhandeln, alla användare av samma ERP-system, har denna studie undersökt vilken roll utbildningsfasen spelar för att DLL ska uppstå vid en ERP-implementation.

In this bachelor thesis a complete prototype of an industrial vibration measurement platform has been developed. By measuring a number of variables such as acceleration, temperature and speed conclusions can be drawn on machinery health. The aim is to evaluate hardware and software solutions for a possible future product. Based on a requirement specification a proper hardware design has be developed. The hardware consists of a four-layer PCB with an ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller and about 250 other components. The PCB was designed, assembled, tested and finally housed in a box.

För att se hur olika skopoi påverkar en översättning översattes en källtext parallellt med vardera sitt specifika skopos. En facktext om vikingarna i Irland på 800-talet översattes dels för publicering i en fackbok, dels för publicering i en populärvetenskaplig tidskrift. För att analysera översättningsprocessen under de två översättningarna registrerades det som Christiane Nord (2005) kallar loopar, återkopplingar under översättningsprocessen när ny kunskap kräver en omformulering av strategin. I en egen metodutveckling av Nords modell registrerades och kategoriserades looparna. Den kvantitativa studien visar att klart flest loopar inträffar i inlednings- och avslutningsskedet av översättningen, oavsett skopos.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att studera hur Försvarsmakten och dess utlandsstyrka tar tillvara vunnen erfarenhet samt implementerardenna erfarenhet i organisationen. Huvudfrågeställningen som uppsatsen svarar på är: (A) Är Försvarsmakten, i detta fall dess utlandsstyrka,en lärande organisation och i så fall i vilken grad? Huvudfrågeställningen byggs upp av ett antal underfrågor; (1) Hur implementeras vunnenerfarenhet in i organisationen? (2) Hur ändringsbenägen är organisationen utifrån vunnen erfarenhet? (3) Hur kommuniceras nya erfarenheterinom och mellan olika nivåer i organisationen? (4) Hur ser organisationen sig själv- som löst samansatta delar eller som ett system där alladelar verkar tillsammans? (5) Hur hanteras personalomsättning inom organisationen för att minska kompetensbortfall? Den teoretiska ramenär byggd utifrån 3 olika teorier: Argyris/Schöns teorier om single - loop learning och double - loop learning samt tillhörande theories in usemodell 1 och 2. Peter Senges teorier kring den femte disciplinen, samt Lena Wilhelmsons teorier kring lärande dialog. Uppsatsen bygger på endeduktiv och kvalitativ metod.
