I nära tio år har främst amerikanska placerare utnyttjat strategin carry trade för att skapa positiva avkastningar. Strategin innebär att lån tas på en marknad med låga räntor för att sedan placeras på en annan marknad med högre räntor. Det är främst de japanska och amerikanska räntemarknaderna som har använts.Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda om det går att få en positiv avkastning vid carry trade-affärer. Vi kommer även att belysa vilka risker som uppstår vid dessa investeringar, samt undersöka vad som kan göras för att minimera de risker som uppstår. Genom att studera andra länder med betydande räntedifferenser vill vi även utreda om denna strategi går att tillämpa på andra ränte- och valutamarknader än Japan och USA.För att uppfylla syftet har en kvantitativ studie genomförts baserad på sekundärdata, där vi skapat olika fiktiva affärer över tre tidsperioder för att kunna räkna ut och jämföra avkastningar.

Denna uppsats handlar om att utveckla ett balanserat styrkort till Individ och familjeomsorgen på Rosengård i Malmö. Individ och familjeomsorgen är en del av Socialförvaltningen. Det balanserade styrkortet är från början utvecklat för den privata sektorn, men har på senare tid börjat användas i den offentliga sektorn. Vi har använt oss av den institutionella teorin och den strategiska teorin. Syftet med uppsatsen är att se om ett balanserat styrkort kan fungera som ett kompletterande styrverktyg till budgeten och på detta sätt bidra till en mer effektiv verksamhet. Som metod har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ fallstudie.

This study investigates the planning process of a university library building. The study s major concern is the cooperation of the main participants in this process: librarians, architects and representatives of university colleges and universities. First the authors present the readers with an overview of the litterature concerning this subject. Then follows a presentation of the three case studies. The authors have interviewed representatives of the three different occupational groups at three different library-building projects: Malmö University, Halmstad University College and the department of social- and behavioural studies at Lund University.

This essay discusses immigrants? prospects of constructing an identity in a multicultural society like Sweden. The discussion is primarily theoretical but offers a few empirical examples to demonstrate its relevance. Furthermore, the ontological standpoint of this essay draws on an understanding of the world and our knowledge as constructed which implies that identities are also constructed. The process of identity making is further understood as a relational process in which others recognition is central to the individuals own understanding of his or hers identity.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe in part the public library users?process when deciding which books to borrow. Focus is on the library users?experience of the process and how literature exposure can support them intheir choice of book. This study seeks to find out to what extent choices arespontaneously made at the library, which elements of exposure that the userfinds helpful in the process and which factors usually influence the user infinding new things to read.The data was gathered through 100 structured interviews with public libraryusers.

Background: The strategic importance of purchasing departments is increasing, yet supply risks are rather uncharted. The procurement of coffee involves supply risks and the purchaser needs to be able to handle these to enable the roasting-house to produce coffee as specified. Purpose: To chart risks in connection with the procurement of coffee as well as the possibilities of handling these. The thesis also examines if general risk management theories are applicable on the supply risk present within Swedish roasting-houses and can become an integral partof the purchasing process. Method: A qualitative case study of the purchasing process of Swedish roasting- houses.

The purpose of this research is to examine the implications of the provisions in the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance (the Code) concerning auditor attestation of the internal control report. The study was conducted in Jönköping County Chamber of fibrillation and is about change and improvement of process modeling technology. The process for treating patients with fibrillation is in the need to evolve and improve. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether the test tools TestComplete and LoadComplete provide sufficient compatibility for functional and non-functional testing of Ipendo Systems? Sharepoint based applications, as well as design testing related activities to be incorporated into their existing software development framework. The paper focuses on the staffing industry and will further examine how recruiters are handling jobseekers personal privacy when they are using social media in a recruitment process. The paper are trying to understand the meaning of what personal integrity means and how or if recruiters show consideration to this in a recruitment process when they are using social media as a recruitment tool. Our result demonstrates that, today recruiters use social media daily to conduct background checks on job applicants. There are no clear instructions and rules on how recruiters should handle background checks through social media. Recruiters believe that job seekers are responsible for the information contained on the their social media.
