Social work has gone from being a primarily philanthropic issue to becoming an academic discipline at university level. To ensure its legitimacy social work must be founded on, and developed through scientific research and documented experience. The purpose of this essay is to review the various arguments on social work in order to evaluate their impact on education, which in turn affects students. In addition, it will demonstrate how different forms of knowledge are valued depending on the contexts. As a means of reaching this objective, the following questions are addressed: ?What are the requirements and recommendations on how the education of social work should be structured, and why are these requirements and recommendations important??, ?How has the education of social work been influenced by the perception of valuable knowledge?? and ?How does the education of social work affect students?? The collected material consists of various arguments concerning the development of social work and the education of social work's formation.

In this essay we have examined how social workers experience their positions as a public authority person in a society of democracy. As a public officer you have to follow rules and obey the law, which can be difficult if they don't agree with your personal opinion and values. In social work you work with people in a vulnerable situation and it may become extremely demanding to stand between the directions of established public administration and your own opinions. We have interviewed ten social workers working in social childcare division and analysed how they experience their situation at work. Our starting point is the critical theory of professor Lennart Lundquist about how democracy works in Swedish administrations.

Our study has its starting point in the Swedish social legislation (Socialtjänstlagen) and more specifically in the 6th chapter's 5th paragraph. That paragraph regulates that social workers should try to find a kinship care placement when they are about to do a placement of a child. Our purpose is to examine how social workers, before they do a placement of a child, understand the informal kinship that is not relatives, if they consider the informal kinship and if certain circumstances have an impact on the consideration. To get this information we have done five interviews with social workers. Recent studies show that social workers in past years have begun to think more positively of people's kinships and that they more often use the resources of the kinship.

Social media has changed the way that corporations can communicate with their target groups. Instead of using one?way communications that has been significant for traditional massmarketing, social media has given corporations the possibility to truly interact with their clients and through the interaction build strong relationships. The interaction is an ideal process for corporations to create brand associations and strengthen their brand equity to position their brands in the minds of the consumers. The increasing significance of social economy as a concept is linked to general global processes such as the crisis of the welfare state, neoliberal globalization, anti-bureaucracy tendencies and decentralization, but also to a growing political interest in human rights and social development. In Sweden the idea of the social economy generates wide support within civil society as well as within the government and across party political boundaries. Furthermore, what is problematic in this context is the fact that the discussions on the subject tend to be relatively uncritical and often it seems as if though the expansion itself is the main objective. The emphasis on cooperation and the third sector in terms of welfare production implies a set of risks in relation to state responsibility, democracy and the autonomy of civil society. Den här studien undersöker hur unga kvinnor i åldrarna 15-30 påverkas av dagens marknadsföring innehållande kvinnliga modeller och om den utvalda målgruppen upplever någon skillnad på hur kvinnor och män framställs i reklamsammanhang. I flera decennier har framställandet av kvinnan i marknadsföringssammanhang varit objekt för debatt, och den är tillsynes lika aktuell idag som för 30 år sedan. Genom att utgå från befintlig teori, som tar upp fakta om kommunikationseffekter, användandet av fysiska modeller i reklam, stereotyper, genus och kön har vi konstruerat två kvantitativa enkäter som besvarats av vår valda målgrupp. Dessa enkäter behandlar frågor om hur kvinnorna påverkas av reklam, innehållande kvinnliga modeller, och om det finns någon skillnad på hur män och kvinnor framställs i reklamsammanhang. De tillfrågade i den här studien har även utifrån olika reklambilder fått sätta ord på vad dessa bilder framkallar för känslor hos dem.

Denna artikel handlar om projektorganisering med projektstyrningsmodeller. Dessa modeller presenteras inte sällan som ett universalverktyg för projekt men finns det risk att dessa kan skapa låsningar i den kreativa processen? För att tydliggöra teorin och de aspekter som bör beaktas vid ett projekt har effektiviteten delats upp i två begrepp projektledningseffektivitet, vilket innefattar bland annat mått såsom tid, kostnad och kvalité, samt projekteffektiviteten, vilket innefattar huruvida resultatet av projektet är användbart och meningsfullt. Genom denna uppdelning och med hjälp av en egen teoretisk referensram söker författarna skapa ett mer övergripande synsätt för att analysera ett projekts nytta i alla dimensioner. Artikeln inkluderar en undersökning som visar huruvida referensramen stämmer överens med det praktiska arbetet i ett projekt med projektstyrningsmodeller.

The main purpose of this paper is to describe and analyse how social worker on a specific Social Service Agency describe their experiences. My focus has been to concentrate on social worker, whose task is related to young people. The paper is presented from three different themes; work assignments, professional roles and projects in life. The central questions are; Which are the socialworker´s main tasks? How does the social worker see himself in his professional role? Have their expectations been fulfilled? Where do they get their motivation from? Which are the reasons why the job as social worker is so strenuous? I have interviewed four social workers (semi-structured interviews), and a qualitative method is used.

The main purpose of this essay was to study how the social service and the lawcourt have implemented the UN Convention on the Right of the Child, particularly incorporating the childs best interest in social services, child welfare investigations and the lawcourts judgement. We considered how the needs of the child, and the will and view of the child was documented. Also how the parents capacity and the environment factors, were documented in the social services investigations and the lawcourts judgement. The study was based both as a literature study and a document analysis. We analysed ten child welfare investigations from a social service office and their belonging lawcourt judgements.Our conclusion of the study is that the child is in focus both in the investigations and in judgement.

Att designa och konstruera processer för en specifik verksamhet kan vara både en omfattande ochkomplex utmaning. Det är viktigt att den person eller grupp som skall designa och konstrueraprocessen är lyhörd för verksamhetens krav och önskemål, samtidigt som det är av största vikt att dekrav och önskemål som uttalas är rimliga och går att omsätta i en verklig kontext. I den här uppsatsenhar jag undersökt hur en kundhanteringsprocess kan se ut och konstrueras, hos ett logistikföretag, sombåde utgår från verksamhetens krav och önskemål samt med stöd av befintliga modeller och teorierinom det processteoretiska området. Genom empirisk datainsamling samt insamling av teoretisktmaterial inom ämnesområdet har en huvudprocess bestående av tre delprocesser samt detaljeradebeskrivningar av processens aktiviteter konstruerats som tillsammans med verksamheten slutligenutvärderats. Vilket framgår av utvärderingen och resultatet av undersökningen är att vald metodik förkonstruktion av process samt val av insamlat empiriskt och teoretiskt material har lett till enkundhanteringsprocess som dels uppfyller verksamhetens krav och önskemål och som stöds avbefintliga modeller och teorier inom det processteoretiska området..

Syftet med vår uppsats var att undersöka hur en grupp fastighetsskötare upplever det informella lärandet och på vilket sätt ett informellt lärande samt ett utvecklingsinriktat lärande sker på den undersökta arbetsplatsen. Uppsatsen är en fallstudie och har en hermeneutisk ansats. Datamaterialet samlades in med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Respondenterna är kommunalanställda och arbetar som fastighetsskötare. Resultatet har tolkats med hjälp av teoretiska modeller om informellt lärande och utvecklingsinriktat lärande.

Denna C-uppsats i social omsorg är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie som baseras på teorierna om ledarskap, ledarstilar och förändringar i organisationer inom social omsorgsverksamhet. Syftet med studien är att fördjupa kunskapen om organisationsförändringar inom social omsorgsverksamhet och att öka förståelsen för valet av olika ledarskapsstilar vid organisationsförändringar inom social omsorgsverksamhet. Resultatet som författaren till studien presenterar är att chefer/ledare inom social omsorgsverksamhet ständigt möter nya förändringar. Detta beror dels på samhällsutvecklingen och synen på funktionshindrade, dels på att chefer inom social omsorgsverksamhet stöter på nya situationer och problem inom sitt yrke som ledare. För chefer/ledaren innebär detta att han eller hon måste anpassa sin ledarskapsstil till den specifika situationen eller till det problem som ledaren kan hamna i..

Syftet med arbetet var att utveckla modeller för järnmalmsreduktion som kan beräkna reduktionsmedel behov och gasutnyttjande genom att använda Rist-diagrammet. Modellerna ska sättas in i optimeringsprogrammet reMIND. Arbetet har varit att utveckla två excelmodeller, för masugns- och MIDREX processen. Anledningen till att modeller gjorts för dessa processer är att masugnen är den i särklass mest använda processen för att tillverka primärjärn medan MIDREX är den vanligaste direktreduktions processen. Grunden för beräkningarna som utförts i masugns modellen kommer från teorin bakom Rist-diagrammet och masugnen.
