At several occasions, an important question has been brought forward within the world of advertising and media. This is the question of whether or not ?good? advertising should be encouraged by the media. The question has an origin in a belief that such advertising can create values not only for the advertiser, but also for the medium. Although this question has arisen in business media, and although many managers work from the assumption that such relationship exists, there are none or little proof that it actually does.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att se hur elever värderar matematikkunskaperna som fås i undervisningen i gymnasieskolan och om eleverna kan dra nytta av kunskaperna i relation till vardagen, kommande studier och yrkesroll. Med hjälp av gruppintervjuer kom jag fram till att eleverna värderar matematikkunskaperna högt, framförallt kunskaper i den ?grundläggande matematiken? som innebär addition, subtraktion, multiplikation och Division. Matematikkunskapen värderas högt och ses i relation till vardagen, kommande studier och yrkesroll. Elevernas positiva attityd till ämnet finns och eleverna beskriver att lärarens motivation till vad och varför de skall lära sig en viss kunskap, ses som betydelsefull.

Fotboll är den mest populära lagsporten världen över, för närvarande med ungefär 200 miljoner spelare. Det finns drygt 200.000 licensierade spelare i Sverige idag. Skaderisken i fotboll har i flera studier beräknats till ungefär 10-35 skador per 1000 speltimmar. Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilken medicinsk personal som manliga fotbollsspelare har och önskar ha tillgång till genom sin klubb vid skada, samt om önskemålen skiljer sig mellan två lag på olika nivåer. Syftet var också att undersöka om spelarna sökt medicinsk hjälp vid skada under föregående säsong.

When studying the voting behaviour of the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) concerning the Services Directive within the EU, what patterns can be observed? With a starting point in previous findings about voting behaviour, this study analyses the results of the given Roll-call votes in the European Parliament in regards to the Services Directive. Here I focus on the Division of votes within and between the member states and the parliamentary political groups; with the aim to identify patterns that might show clash of opinion concerning this issue. I found that ideology seems to play a role in the MEPs voting behaviour. Parties on the far left reach the highest level of cohesion and together with the party on the far right, they voted against the Directive, but due to different reasons.

The essay?s purpose is to illustrate the topic of parental leave and the distribution of the domestic work in the households. Furthermore this essay aims to investigate the following questions:§ Which factors will be of importance while considering how to divide the parental leave?§ How do families with small children distribute the domestic work?§ What are the opinions regarding equal allocation of parental leave quotas in families with small children?We have used a quantitative method to gather our empirical data. AbstractThe aim of this thesis is to investigate an experimental work in the region of Kronoberg and to study, from the actors? point of view, what possibilities there are for cooperation when it comes to hastening the introduction for newly arrived immigrants on the labour market, and also what possibilities the cooperation entails for the newly arrived immigrants to integrate on the labour market. The thesis employs the following research questions to answer the purpose:How do the actors in the project work to fasten the introduction to the Swedish labour market?Which opportunities and obstacles do the actors experience for cooperation in the project?Which consequences do the actors experience that cooperation in the project bring for the newly arrived immigrants? opportunity to integrate on the labour market?In order to answer the questions, ten actors involved in the project have been interviewed. Also written documents have been used.The conclusion of the study is that explicit goal and explicit Division of the responsibilities in the project have made the cooperation easier.

The main purpose of this master thesis is to study the information support by the head office of the Swedish social insurance office to its administrators. The thesis only focuses on information that concerns laws, regulations and instructions. The study is based on an interview with the head of the Division of law at the social insurance head office and a questionnaire answered by administrators in four different counties. The purpose with the interview was to find out about the information strategy of the head office and in the questionnaire the administrators could describe their opinion of their information support. Our special interest was the information channels and how the administrators were able to absorb the essential information.

The purpose of this report is to survey Swedex AB?s production costs and to gather all info into a manageable calculation tool. This was made by time and motion studies, interviews of the personnel. All factors were gathered into an Excel chart.The calculation was made according to an additional-charge-method that was considered to satisfy Swedex AB?s goal.

Det här examensarbetet är en internrapport för Lantmäteriet med fokus på framtida supportverksamhet med anledning av resultaten från projekten Svensk geoprocess och HMK. Rapporten klarlägger och visar på områden och frågeställningar att beakta för att vidareutveckla den befintliga supportverksamheten att vara en del av den support som svarar upp mot nya krav och förändringar.Rapporten ger en kort beskrivning om hur Support och rådgivning ges idag, bl.a. BAL-supporten. Samverkansprojektet Svensk geoprocess och HMK förklaras och hur de kan komma att påverka dagens Support och Rådgivning.En omorganisation inom Lantmäteriets Division Informationsförsörjning måste beaktas samt även att knyta ytterligare kunniga i geodata och IT till supporten för att kunna ge god service åt användare och producenter. Eftersom supporten kommer att handlägga många nya delar behöver personalen ha god kunskap om de förändringar som införs och anammas inom kommunerna och Lantmäteriet med anledning av projekten Svensk geoprocess och HMK.

The purpose of this Master?s Thesis is to examine the information use and information behavior of the scientists at the company ?Forskningsbolaget?. For this purpose an Information Audit was carried out using both interviews with six managers and a questionnaire, which was sent out to the entire population of 213 scientists. After finding out what information the scientists use and how they obtain it the aim was to answer the question of to what extent the company?s Information Centre can meet these needs.

I Sverige är arbetsmarknaden tydligt könssegregerad då män och kvinnor ofta befinner sig på olika arbetsplatser samt har olika arbetsuppgifter. Detta beskrivs som ett problem ur en jämställdhetsaspekt. Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur kvinnliga arbetstagare upplever mansdominerade arbetsplatser. Det bolag som valts ut att ingå i studien är logistik- och transportbolaget Schenker AB, Division land, där 93 procent av de kollektivanställda är män. Forskningsintervjun är vald som metod till studien där sju kollektivanställda tillsvidareanställda valdes ut från fyra olika enheter i bolaget.

Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which Division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds.

The purpose of the essay is to discuss from the theory about the established and the Outsiders if the Culture Centre Blå Stället can serve as a meeting point between the majority of the people and the minority of the people in Gothenburg. The idea of Blå Stället is that it shall work as a house available for everyone and as a cultural meeting point between people in and outside Angered. I argue if Blå Stället really is a place where people from Gothenburg as a whole go or if there are some hindrances for their visions. My study is comprised of interviews with three of the staff at Blå Stället. With the theory about the established and the outsiders I want to show that the Division in the city between ?them? and ?us? has to do with differences of power.
