The vision of this thesis was to create a concept that can be used as a base for amachine construction. The purpose of this project was to use different methods todevelop a concept that on the best way meets the sat up requirements. This projecthas been divided into three stages/parts; principle, primary and the final solutionstage.This thesis has been conducted in collaboration with Västkustägg AB. It is aconstruction project designed to construct a machine that will automatically putlabels on the egg packages. Västkust AB wanted to automate this process.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the possibility of integrating an item tracking systemwith a monitoring system currently under development at Fifth Generation Technologies (P) Ltd.A literature study of RFID technology and the networks ZigBee and MiWi was done. Based onthe literature study a concept for a distributed system was developed.The concept is to have several RFID readers placed in the area where tracking is to be performedand allow them to communicate with each other through wireless communication. The RFIDreaders shall be able to form zones and filter the data that is forwarded from the zones to theservers and thus perform some of the work that the server would normally have to do. Theconcept has been evaluated by prototype development and testing. The prototype uses an ultrahigh frequency RFID reader and a MiWi network.The test indicated some limitations with the selected technologies.

This report aims to describing the work behind the development of a masonry heater.The masonry heater is developed in collaboration with the company Transient Design KB that is a product development company located in Alingsås. The company sees a possibility to cover a market segment where modern technology and design are missing.The report presents those methods and approaches that have been used and gives an overview to how the project has been carried out. It describes how the ideas behind the final results have produced and how they have been developed during the project's time. Två företag, konkurrenter på en duopolmarknad, undersöks under ett antal förenklande antagande för att finna jämviktsbeteende. Företagen antas förutom pris ha möjlighet att konkurrera genom att erbjuda produkter differentierade i två horisontella dimensioner. En tolkning är att företagen konkurrerar genom pris och lokalisering i en tvådimensionell stad. Av intresse är främst optimal grad av differentiering. Från genomgången litteratur står det klart att Nashjämvikten består av minimal differentiering i en dimension och maximal differentiering i den andra, samt pris som bestäms direkt av en transportkostnadskoefficient.

This thesis has been carried out in cooperation with Burseryds Bruk AB.Burseryds Bruk is a company that manufactures steel strapping. The thesis isabout developing a concept of protection that should be used to protect theoperators from the rotating parts of the machinery lines. The aim of the projectwas to improve work safety for operators working at the machines by producing aconcept for a protective device. The project's first part was based on ergonomic data collection methods tounderstand the operations performed on the machine and the hazard occurringduring the process. The methods used to collect data were, interviews,observations and questionnaires with the operators of the company. This was thenused to make the ergonomic analyzes hierarchical task analysis and link analysis. The data collected from the company's operators was used create 10 conceptswhich were then evaluated.

This master?s thesis will examine the concept of ?fixed establishment? in VAT-law. The concept can be found in the new EC-directive on the common system of value added tax, however it has existed for thirty years in previous directives. Dagens film och spelkoncept inom genrerna science fiction och fantasy börjar likna varandra mer och mer och för oss känns inget längre annorlunda. Genom att basera dem på historiska samhällen och kulturer hoppas vi på att bryta normen. Vi hoppas att med detta som grund kunna skapa realistiska och trovärdiga folkslag som skiljer sig från det som funnits tidigare. Detta examensarbete handlar om konceptutveckling av en fiktiv värld och tre fiktiva folkslag. Konceptet skall kunna appliceras på både film och spel men även litteratur eller andra medietekniska områden.

This essay conducts a descriptive analysis of the ideas expressed by NATO´s official security strategy "Strategic Concept" from 2010 and the European Union?s security strategy "A Secure Europe in a Better World" from 2003. The purpose of this analysis is to examine whether the ESDP and NATO are compatible with each other when it comes to the role of security policy actor. To do so, I´ve chosen to analyse the actors' security strategies based on three dimensions. These dimensions are: Their view of the international scene, their views on cooperation and their views on how to reach security.

The Master Thesis has been carried out in cooperation with Silva Sweden AB and the objective was to develop a new product concept within the product category for everyday exercise. The purpose of the thesis was to use and analyze methods and tools which aid creativity and concept creation in order to make method recommendations for future projects.During the thesis a number of customer needs were identified, which in turn were translated into 20 concepts. On a concept decision meeting a pedometer-based concept was chosen for development. The new pedometer is in addition to counting steps also able to measure and calculate the user?s total climbed height during a day and present this graphically in comparison to famous monuments or distances.

Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka hur förhållandet ser ut mellan de fyra dimensionerna, som driver kundlojalitet, och även mellan de 17 faktorerna, som reflekterar kundlojalitet, som beskrivs i uppsatsen. Dessa dimensioner och faktorer är viktiga eftersom de både kan skapa, öka och reflektera kundlojalitet. Det är speciellt viktigt inom försäkringsbranschen att identifiera de faktorer som reflekterar kundlojalitet eftersom kunden oftast inte blir lönsam förrän efter tre till fyra år. Detta innebär att om företaget missar tillfällen att skapa eller förbättra kundlojaliteten kan kunden vara en stor förlustaffär. Undersökningen är baserad på en artikel från tidskriften Journal of Marketing som innehåller en metod som behandlar kundlojalitet utifrån 19 faktorerna som bildar fyra dimensioner: lojalitetsintentioner, känslomässig relation, attityd gentemot varumärket samt upplevt kundvärde.

All my short stories have been written in an intuitive way according to which no outline of characters, intrigue or plot was made in advance. A consequence of this process is that not even myself as the author is aware of the meaning of the texts and therefore I too have to interpret the stories. Because of the character of the text, I use an analysis of archetypes according to C. G. Jung?s analytic psychology.

När det gäller mejeriförpackningar är ofta innehållet det samma, oavsett om mjölken kommer från Milko, Arla eller Skånemejerier är innehållet mjölk. Det är förpackningen som särskiljer produkten från olika varumärken genom att sätta sin identitet på den. Vi ska därför genom denna uppsats undersöka vilka kvalitetsattribut hos mejeriförpackningar som bör prioriteras för att uppnå kundtillfredsställelse. Detta ska vi undersöka genom att använda oss av teorin om attraktiv kvalitet, hedonistisk kontra funktionell nytta, kvalitetsattributs livscykler samt genom att dela in attribut i dimensioner.
