Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka vilka konflikter som finns bland personer i förhållanden och se hur dessa problem kan lösas på ett smidigt sätt. Metoden för denna uppsats har, till största del varit, litteratursökning på Luleå tekniska universitets bibliotek. Denna uppsats berör, i huvudsak, konflikter inom parrelationer. Uppsatsen fördjupar sig i vad konflikter kan handla om och hur ett par kan lösa dessa. En stor del av ett förhållande är kommunikation.

This Master s thesis deals with the display of library media, whether it is conceivable and desirable to draw inspiration from the retail business when displaying articles. The questions asked are: are there, in the retail sector, well established display ideas and - if so - what do they look like? Are the similarities in conditions, between the branches, sufficient? In conveying the ideas to libraries, are the potential differences not obstructive? Is there, among librarians, a positive attitude towards further development of library display techniques? The results were achieved by interviewing shop window dressers and librarians. In addition, a survey was sent to the library managers of 65 public libraries in southern Sweden. The results show that there are established ideas and methods of displaying materials, and that the ideas are manifested in frequently used techniques.

The purpose of this study is to determine who visits the V Frölunda Library, Gothenbug,what magazines they read and why. The data presented in this thesis are collectedusing four methods: general observation and counting numbers of visitors, interviewswith 202 magazine readers, the completion of 1308 questiomaires regarding approximately350 maghes and interviews with more than 100 library visitors.The data indicates that men are significantly overrepresented among magazine readersas compared to the female visitors. These men are primarily from the white collar sectorof the community. This leads to a pronounced underrepresentation of the blue coIlarworkers. Young people visit the magazine room in the library at a rate about twice thatexpected from the population distribution.Women are primarily interested in magazines dealing with the home whereas men aremore interested in business, cars, boats and sports.

En förutsättning för skoglig planering på alla nivåer är att man har en god uppfattning om tillståndet i den stående skogen. K valiten på de beslut som fattas kommer därför att vara direkt beroende av mängden och kvaliten på den information som samlats in. Sensorer som radar, lidar och olika typer av digitala kameror används idag med framgång för fjärranalys där skogen avbildas från ovan. Föreliggande arbete syftar till att belysa de tekniska förutsättningarna för att utnyttja modem sensorteknik även för markbaserade mätningar. Detta skulle i så fall öppna möjligheter att automatisera fångsten av skogliga data som därmed skulle bli kostnadseffektivare samtidigt som nya typer av data skulle bli tillgängliga.

Massflykt och transnationalism i det globala tillståndet blir ett faktum. Diaspora och exil skapar ny kulturidentitet. Filmen som ett starkt uttrycksmedel, skapar en plattform för de människor som lever under exil och diaspora- förhållandet för att hävda sig.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur lärarna i två skolor arbetar med digitala utrustningar i undervisningen. Genom att ställa olika intervjufrågor och utifrån studiens syfte har jag intervjuat 7 lärare i två olika skolor. På dessa intervjuer har jag använt mig av semistrukturerade frågor som hjälpt mig att djupt veta hur lärarna arbeta med IT-resurser i skolan och vad det är som ibland förhindrar de att använda IT under undervisningen. Studien försöker veta mer om hur de lärarna och deras elever upplever IT-användning i skolan. Resultaten visar att eleverna och lärarna har stort intresse att använda datorer men det finns några barriärer som ibland hindrar dem att genomföra deras lektioner med hjälp av IT.

This thesis is an investigation of Bosnian immigrants and their use of libraries in Borås and Anderstorp. The purpose of the thesis is to investigate if people from Bosnia read in their mother tongue Bosnian and if they read in Swedish too. The essay is based on questionnaires concerning both young and older immigrants' reading and library habits. The survey encompasses 30 Bosnians. In the theory I have described relevant literature and confirmed the importance of identity, language and culture for immigrants.

The purpose of this paper is to examine different methods for organisation and retrieval of pop and rock music recordings, and the problems concerned with this organisation. The focus is the question whether values towards pop and rock music influence the organisation of music in major Swedish record collections. As a background for this discussion, the study also discusses how music is organised in these collections, and what kind of problems are associated with their organisation. Also included in the paper is a minor investigation of how problems with the organisation of pop and rock music are dealt with in library and information science, and how values towards pop and rock music are dealt with in society in general. The main focus of the study, however, is an empirical study of how values towards pop and rock music manifest themselves in the pop and rock organisation of six Swedish institutions with major collections of music recordings.

Bakgrunden till denna studie grundar sig i att den svenska mediebranschen har genomgått stora förändringar under de senaste åren. Det är framför allt förändringar inom teknik som har skett och detta har ändrat sättet som individer använder och konsumerar nyheter. Detta har lett till att många företag inom dagstidningsbranschen just nu omstrukturerar sina verksamheter och söker efter nya möjligheter till intäkter. Viljan är att anpassa sina verksamheter för unga vuxna (20-39 år). Detta vill de uppnå genom att till exempel utveckla nya affärsmodeller.

With a new digital world that runs parallel with our physical one, we are also facing a new type of architecture and new materials that this new architecture is built on. In this thesis I examine pixels and vectors, two of the digital materials used to create pictures. By approaching them as digital materials, I have mapped their different qualities, when and where one or the other is more or less applicable and the reason behind it. My main research question asked was the following: Are the (digital) materials challenged outside their primary fields of application, and in that case, in which way? With this question in mind, I carried out a semiotic picture analysis on four pictures, later on dividing them into four different categories, based on their different qualities and their ability to deliver information.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the content in Swedish library weblogs. We want to examine what the posts contain, especially on the subject knowledge organization. Which themes do the weblogs have in common? How the weblog authors categorize their posts and how the readers use the comment function, are other questions we seek answers to in the thesis. We have performed content analysis where we created the code units during the process.

På grund av ökad produktkomplexitet och digitala arbetssätt har fler företag insett nyttan i att implementera och använda sig av bra system för Produkt Lifecycle Management och Product Data Management för att hantera produkten genom dess livscykel. Funktionen hos PLM-system är framförallt att se till att alla har tillgång till den senast uppdaterade datan. Detta uppnås genom ett centralt ställe att lagra produktdata samt möjlighet att strukturera och hantera datan. Scania använder sig av Spectra och Enovia för att strukturera och lagra dagens konstruktionsdata. På senare år har digital provmontering införts i chassiproduktion som ett komplement till den fysiska provmonteringen.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how a newly built library and an old library from the sixties work out of an experience and feeling oriented view. Are the fundamental conditions of an old library compatible with the library standards of today? To be able to carry out this examination we have chosen two rather small Swedish libraries. One is the public library of Hässleholm, which opened in the year 2000, and the other is the public library of Kristianstad opened in 1965. The material used to attain the purpose of the study consists of literature studies and qualitative observations and interviews.

This essay is about leadership in libraries within the academic world, i.e. leadership in research libraries. To place our survey in a context we begin the theoretical review with a chapter about organisation theory. We dont think its possible to separate the leader from the organisation so we wanted to describe the organisation and its effect on the leadership. The next theoretical section is about leadership research.
