Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva vilka kunskaper sjuksköterskor har om äldre över 65 år med depression. Studiens syfte var även att beskriva vad som finns i litteraturen om depression hos äldre över 65 år. Depression hos äldre är vanligt, underdiagnostiserat och inkorrekt behandlad. Den orsakar dåligt välbefinnande och ökar vårdtyngden och dödligheten.Studien är en beskrivande litteraturstudie baserad på arton vetenskapliga artiklar. Litteratursökningar gjordes i databaserna CINAHL och PubMed samt manuellt i Högskolans bibliotek.

Sammanfattning Uppsatsen handlar om utomhuspedagogik och lärande ur en rumslig aspekt. Den baserar sig på en studie av sex förskolor i tre kommuner i södra Sverige. Syftet med studien är att genom kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer och digitala bilder få en uppfattning om uterummets betydelse för två olika typer av utomhuspedagogiska verksamheter i förskolan ? uteförskolor och uteavdelningar. Utemiljön skall agera som den huvudsakliga arenan för lärande och utveckling i ett utomhuspedagogiskt arbetssätt.

Traditional field inventory methods for updating stand databases are expensive and time consuming. However, the inventory could be made more efficient if stand boundaries and stand characteristics are derived from aerial photographs.

During recent years the professional role of librarians has changed considerably. Development in the areas of information technology and the Internet has had a strong impact on libraries. Today?s visitors are in greater need of librarian support for information seeking and other services. This has led to a shift towards the development of a more complex pedagogical role for librarians.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to compare the 6th and the 7th editions of the classification scheme of the Swedish classification system (SAB) to reveal which principles are used concerning the development of this system during the period 1985-1997. Guiding questions are: What kind of changes has been conducted? How do these changes relate to development of other general classification schemes and to theories concerning revision work? The results of the analysis show that possibilities to use synthesis have increased by an extension of use of geographic and chronological subdivisions. The classification scheme has also been easier to use by elimination of parallel subdivisions and regularization of the scheme. To maintain stability revision is performed on selected subclasses.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the view on reading and reading promotion in the Culture of Reading (SOU 2012:65), based on three different approaches to reading and reading promotion; the pragmatic, the emancipatory and the traditionalistic. The thesis is based on the following questions; which view on reading can be seen in the Culture of Reading and which view on librarians? reading promotion can be seen in the Culture of Reading. To answer these questions, I am going to apply the aforementioned approaches on the Culture of Reading. The Culture of Reading is an official report from the Swedish government and parts of it will be subject to a qualitative content analysis.

I vårt examensarbete ville vi undersöka hur nära skolverkets kursplaner för fotografisk bild ligger näringslivets önskemål, och vad som är relevant kunskap. Anledningen är att inom fotografisk bild går utvecklingen väldigt snabbt tack var den digitala tekniken. För att få en relevant bild av kursplanerna vände vi oss till branschfolk som dagligen hanterar bilder inom olika områden. Vi genomförde dels en enkätundersökning där vi på en skala kan se hur de olika yrkena ser på de olika delmomenten, dels en intervju där det framgår hur fotografyrket förändrats och vart yrket är på väg. Vi gjorde även en intervju med en kursplaneskribent som arbetade med gymnasiereformen 2007 för att få en bakgrund till hur kursplaner tas fram.

he purpose of this master thesis is to learn more about the ancient Alexandrian Library. The method used in this thesis is methodology of history, especially a critical attitude when it comes to evaluating the ancient texts. I put forward three questions to which I desire to find answers. First: What do the sources from Antiquity tell about the Alexandrian library? Second: How do modern writers of books on the subject use these sources? Thirdly: I look into the possible historical and cultural reasons that the first of the Ptolemaic kings could have had for establishing the Mouseion and the Library of Alexandria.

This thesis describes the introduction of Web 2.0 education into Swedish LIS education with emphasis on the driving forces and obstacles in the process. It also discusses the possibilities of estimating the appropriate time for the start of new educational courses introducing new technologies, when it is uncertain if the technologies in question will sustain for a long enough period of time to make the educational effort worthwhile. The data on the Web 2.0 education was collected during the spring of 2010 from the Web pages of the five LIS departments in Sweden, namely Borås, Lund, Umeå, Uppsala and Växjö, as well as by 10 interviews during November and December 2010 with two representatives from each LIS department..The key finding is that Web 2.0 is covered in Swedish LIS education and embracing both practical and theoretical issues. The main driving forces have been both the needs of the profession and an academic research interest. It is concluded that Rogers??S-curves? as described in ?Diffusion of Innovation? can be used as a tool in order to improve the understanding of when to introduce education in new technologies.

In 2003 the libraries of ten municipalities in the northern part of Sweden were each given 10 000 (SEK) by the BIN-project to purchase books on demand instead of making inter-library loans. This attempt was called Köpa på efterfrågan (Purchasing on demand). The purpose of this master thesis is to evalutate Köpa på efterfrågan. The results of the evaluation show that the books purchased on demand were quite popular. Almost all the purchased books were non-fictional with most books being bought within the field of medicin.

Hur platsannonser påverkar kandidaters inställning till tjänsten och organisationen är ett relativt outforskat område inom rekryteringsforskningen. Denna studie undersöker hur tjänstens och organisationens attraktivitet samt benägenheten att söka en tjänst, påverkas av annonsplatsen. Tre grupper fick bedöma samma annons publicerad på de digitala annonsplatserna Platsbanken, Monster och organisationshemsida (en annonsplats per grupp). Resultatet visade att både tjänsten och organisationen bedöms som mest attraktiv, att benägenheten att söka tjänsten är som störst med organisationens hemsida som annonsplats samt att denna rankas som mest attraktiv jämfört med de två andra. Resultatet diskuteras utifrån tidigare forskning och förslag på vidare forskning presenteras..

For young people today the ability to read and interpret text seems to be of decreasing standard. This bachelor thesis is trying to find patterns among five different library patrons, all adults and most of them readers for life. The specific aims are, through their individual stories, to find out what made and helped them become readers of literature for enjoyment and pleasure. How do they look upon themselves as readers, how do they find their reading and finally which role does it play in their everyday lives. Five semi-structured interviews have been conducted in a qualitative way and been put through a thematic-narrative analysis.The avid readers of this study all read throughout their lives and almost right from the beginning read a lot.

Syftet är att beskriva lärares erfarenheter av det pedagogiska arbetet med den digitalalärplattformen Fronter. Jag har intervjuat fyra kvinnliga och fyra manliga gymnasielärare somarbetat med lärplattformen Fronter i Jönköpings kommun. Jag har utifrån intervjuerna försöktfinna likheter och olikheter i hur lärarna betraktar Fronter som pedagogiskt verktyg, vilketpresenteras utförligare i resultat- och diskussionsdelen. Lärarnas utsagor delades in under treområden. De områden som avses är funktioner i Fronter, fördelar respektive nackdelar medFronter, samt etik och sekretess i arbetet med Fronter.Utifrån mina resultat kan jag konstatera att lärarna anser att de behöver mer stöd i sitt arbete medFronter, och att de ser plattformen som en stor möjlighet för att individualisera undervisningen.Intressant vidare forskning inom området vore att undersöka huruvida Fronter leder till ökadmåluppfyllelse för eleverna..

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka vad elever i nionde klass har för syn på bildämnet, vad detta kan bero på och koppla detta till deras studiemotivation och bildämnets betydelse i dagens samhälle. För att granska detta utfördes litteraturstudier och sedan kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer ute på två skolor. I resultatet visade det sig att motivationen till stor del är lärarens ansvar och denna ska kunna motivera för sina elever varför bildämnet är viktigt i dagens visuella samhälle. Att bildämnet av många i samhället anses ha lägre status än de andra ämnena kan vara en orsak bakom ämnets bristfälliga resurser. Dessutom visade intervjuerna att arbete med digitala medier i bildundervisningen kan öka motivationen..

The aim of this thesis is to examine collaborative tagging as a potential asset to libraries by a review of 10 social bookmarking sites and their features, and a discussion of these features? possible use when the environment changes from the web to a library. Previous research on collaborative tagging is presented, as well as overviews of social bookmarking, folksonomies and the concept of Web 2.0 and Library 2.0. The study itself is presented as a walkthrough of common features and how they work, followed by a schematic overview of which sites have which features. Finally each site is presented in a more detailed manner.
