This project aims to investigate whether algae can be used for biodiesel production in Italy. Algaes are a good option since they are fast growing and do not occupy arable land. The aspects that have been considered are growing, harvesting, which algae strain that is most suitable, extraction of oil, the production of biodiesel and where in Italy this could be possible due to climate. Cost? and energy calculations have been made to investigate if biodiesel produced from algae would be profitable. During the production of biodiesel there are several residues obtained. When the oil has been extracted from the algae, biogas is produced from the residual biomass by anaerobic digestion and then the electricity that can be produced is supplied to the production of biodiesel.

Journalistiken övergår allt mer från analog till digital form, men i politiska ungdomsförbundens fall, har de förbund som tagit bort sin medlemstidning inte ersatt med en digital redaktionell produkt. I uppsatsen undersöks om förbunden som har en medlemstidning anser att den är och ska vara en journalistisk produkt eller ej och om de följer Journalistförbundets riktlinjer för organisationspress, det vill säga principer för journalistiken och arbetsmetoderna i medlemstidningarna. För att undersöka detta har en kvalitativ intervjustudie förbund- och redaktionsrepresentanter gjorts, samt en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av förbundens hemsidor. Dessutom har en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av Grön Ungdoms medlemstidning från start till nedläggning gjorts, då tidningen vid studiens genomförande skulle läggas ned.De politiska ungdomsförbund som omnämns i uppsatsen är: Moderata Ungdomsförbundet (MUF), Socialdemokratiska Ungdomsförbundet (SSU), Liberala Ungdomsförbundet (LUF), Kristdemokratiska Ungdomsförbundet (KDU), Centerpartiets Ungdomsförbund (CUF), Ung Vänster, Grön Ungdom, Ung Pirat och Sverigedemokratiska Ungdomsförbundet (SDU).För att tidningen enligt journalistförbundets principer ska kunna kallas organisationspress, ska ansvarig utgivare och redaktion vara oberoende förbundet, redaktionen få tillgång till organisationens material och dokument och att få tillräckligt med resurser för att kunna bedriva sin verksamhet. Den här uppsatsen visar att få politiska ungdomsförbund har prioriterat organisationspressen.

ABSTRACTInternet use in Sweden is among the highest in Europe. The increased availability and use of the Internet has changed people's behavior patterns. This, in turn, has made many companies choose to offer their products and services online. This means that there is less personal contact and that customer relations can be described as having gone from face-to-face to face-to-screen. Swedish banks have come a long way in terms of adapting its operations to customers? demand in a global environment that is digitizing at a rapid pace.

Mediation of fiction has always been one of the main tasks of the public library. The focus on information technology is often seen as a threat and competitor to this task. But technology can also offer new ways to mediate fiction, and the aim of this thesis is to examine how library websites and blogs can be used for this purpose. The research questions are:? What forms of fiction mediating material exist on library websites and blogs?? How is the fiction mediating material presented?? Are there any differences between the fiction mediating working methods on websites and blogs compared with those in physical libraries?The thesis is based on a qualitative content analysis of eight Swedish public library websites and three blogs, and on a theoretical frame work including literature and research on mediation of fiction, library websites and blogs, web design and usability.

Near Field Communication, NFC, is a short-range wireless communication technology that enables data exchange between devices in a secure way. A NFC phone has the potential to enable the convergence of wallet, phone and keys, but as many other technological innovations, the launch is struggling. We have discovered that technological innovation is only the first step. For an innovation to be adapted, there need to be business model innovation too. Many actors form the ecosystem of NFC and the business model for each service is still an unsolved problem.

Telephone counselling has been around for more than forty years and remains a widely accepted communication support, both in the primary care and the outpa-tient departments of our hospitals. In many cases, this form of communication might be the only way in which the patient will have contact with the health ser-vices, primarily the nurse. In this study, the authors have chosen the word com-munication support as a generic name for the various technology tools, which are already present or in the future, might be an important link between the patient and the nurse. The aim of this study was to examine which communication sup-port that is available and patients´ perceptions of those and the patients´ percep-tions. Our patients can sometimes be affected by their illness, which means that their perception might be influenced and the advices or the prescriptions given by telephone will not be correctly perceived.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate if Swedish agencies preserve their websites according to the Swedish archival legislations and guidelines. As a theory the OAIS Reference Model (Open Archival Information System, developed by US Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems, CCSDS) has been used as a model to show how important it is to develop strategies for public digital information which has to be preserved for long term. The ingest function in the OAIS Reference Model demands that files are prepared for long term preservation and requires that the digital information fulfils established technical requirements.In the study the Swedish National Archive and their advices about preserving websites to archivists on the Swedish agencies are being studied. To control if the agencies meet the requirements for their management and preservation of their websites a survey was sent out to investigate if Swedish agencies preserve their websites. According to the survey result, 84 of 113 agencies preserve their websites in some way. If the technical requirements really was met could not be verified in this thesis, the results was relied on the responses from the authorities.

The material we got from the interviews and other secondary material make up the ground, for our analysis and conclusion.

Arbetet belyser frågan om huruvida konstnärer som även är pedagogiskt verksamma använder sig av sitt konstnärskap i den pedagogiska verksamheten. Syftet är att reda ut hur personer som är både konstnärer och pedagoger tänker kring problematiken att kombinera dessa två yrken, men även att skapa en digital story kring resultatet och processen i form av bilder och tal. Begreppet konstnär diskuteras, samt om konst är en slags vetenskap. Även Reggio Emilia-pedagogiken och dess syn på konstnärligt arbete i förskolor berörs. Metoden som används i undersökningen är kvalitativa intervjuer.

The purpose of this essay is to explore the actor network of a high technology company in the textile industry called F.O.V. Fabrics. The background for doing this is a recent project, which we choose to call the Salt & Paper Battery Group, aiming to commercialize a newly discovered technology ? a battery based on cellulose from an alga. We start by examining a range of network theories in order to eventually shape a framework of our own.

Bakgrund: Platserna som ger artister möjligheter att nå ut med sin musik har ökat massivt i och med Internet och alla de digitala plattformar som finns idag. Det är således lättare att möjliggöra lyssnande men det behöver inte betyda att någon lyssnar. Konkurrensen har ökat och skivbolag tar numera färre risker med nya artister. Därmed behöver okända artister på egen hand ta sig till en uppmärksammad nivå. Forskningsfråga:Vad krävs idag av en artist för att uppmärksammas av publik, media och branschfolk i Sverige? Syfte:Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en ökad förståelse för hur projekt Talangcoaching på bästa sätt ska coacha sina Talanger så att de uppmärksammas av publik, bransch och media i Sverige.

Syfte med denna studie har varit att studera relationen mellan motivation och portfolio, både digital och pappersbaserad. Samt att studera huruvida den ena metoden är mer motiverande för eleverna än den andra och hur relationen ser ut mellan portfolio och några av de sex utvalda motivationsteorierna som redogörs för i uppsatsen.Den metod som har använts i denna uppsats är forskningskonsumtion vilket innebär att resultatet är baserat på tidigare forskning inom de områden som berörs i denna uppsats, det vill säga motivation och portfolio. Utifrån dessa artiklar samt ytterligare litteratur har sedan en analys och diskussion gjorts för att undersöka relationen.Resultat som framkom i undersökningen visade att portfolio har en motiverande effekt för eleverna, framförallt den digitala portfolion, detta då den har flera tekniska fördelar jämfört med den pappersbaserade portfolion. Det framkom även att elevernas motivation i samband med portfolioarbetet visade en tydlig koppling till motivationsteorierna som tas upp i uppsatsen.Mina slutsatser av denna uppsats är att framförallt den digitala portfolion är en gynnsam metod att använda för att elevernas motivation ska öka. Dock bör teknologin i den digitala portfolion fortsätta utvecklas för att minska risken för tekniska problem.

This study was made in an attempt to give the forest research centre Mógilsá a producedtetratherm map and a better understanding of how topography and temperature influencethe growth of two tree species. The digital tetratherm map model, covering the northernpart of Iceland, was developed to investigate the correlation between tetratherm and thegrowth of Picea sitchensis and Larix (sukaczewii + sibirica). The study confirms theusefulness of digital terrain models in providing data for a lot of different factors and forthe tetratherm model. Hopefully will this tetratherm map be used in future studies.Secondly, investigations were made correlating the growth of the two species againsttopographic factors representing height above sea level, distance to the sea, slope andtopex. Thirdly, investigations were made comparing the aspect and the ground shape tothe growth.The growth rate of Larix had strong significant correlations to the tetratherm and thedistance to the sea- factors.

This report is made as a literature review, focusing on the work done to increase understanding of efficiency in the categories of substations and secondary heating systems, with respect to the deviation from the theoretically possible cooling off in the distribution network as well as the economic benefit that appear. The main purpose of a considerable part of the literature used in this report addresses the issue of identifying individual causes of reduced cooling in district heating systems. These literature resources have been compiled and summarized as part of the report.The technology of district heating is associated with benefits such as better use of the energy in a fuel. This is the case of cogeneration plants where serial generation of electricity and thermal energy increases efficiency compared with the parallel generation where heat is generated locally and electricity is generated centrally. Serial generation thus allows for lower primary energy demand.

Wireless communication is becoming more common, a relatively new technology within the area is Bluetooth Low Energy. It?s been developed to be energy efficient and in regard to compatibility. Alongside the growth of wireless technology, scientists and companies are looking for new areas of use. One of these is localization, which means to determine the position of a moving device with the use of stationary devices, an example of this would be GPS.This report means to evaluate indoor localization using Bluetooth Low Energy and was made for Combitech AB in Jönköping.
