This study examines how to translate digitally composed symphonic music to note script and how it gets readable and playable. With the help of professional musicians from the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, teachers from Kulturskolan in Norrköping as well as other musicians, I have learned how I can improve each individual stem in my composition. I also learned how to write for a real musician. My score have been analyzed by composers and a conductor which have given me a more in depth insight into composing symphonic music.The theory section describes important MIDI aspects, score preparation and note editing techniques. Thereafter is a section about the symphony orchestra and its instruments? history and how the situation is today.

Since a few years back television has been on a verge of an enormous digital change. Web-TV is now growing at an incredible rate and is said to completely change the way we consume TV. The purpose of this essay is to determine and gain an understanding of how representatives of the broadcast industry looks at the phenomenon of web-TV and especially the different kinds of online video services and how they believe this will affect the television. Methods used are qualitative interviews which we compared with previous studies on the subject and acknowledged communication theories. The respondents were people with good insight and understanding of the media and TV industry.

En alltmer utbredd uppfattning är att platsers betydelse minskar i takt med ökande digital kommunikation. Människans beteendeförändringar till följd av den digitala kommunikationen ihop med möjligheten att befästa geografiska platser med information innebär att vår syn på den offentliga miljön står inför en radikal förändring. Det konkreta platsbegreppet är starkt kopplat med rumsbegreppet som är mer abstrakt i sin natur och vars gränser i och med den digitala revolutionen blir alltmer otydliga. Därmed skiftar också uppfattningen av plats och hur vi kan stärka vår anknytning till platser. Ett led i den pågående förbättringen av kommunikationen är det utbredda användandet av sociala medier och platsknutna bilder som förmedlas genom dessa. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur geografiskt bunden fotouppladdning via sociala medier påverkar platsers identitet.

Allt större och större andel företag väljer att presentera och förmedla varor och tjänster via e-handel. En viktig aspekt vid e-handel är att kunden känner förtroende för e-handelsapplikationen och företaget. Denna rapport redogör för vilken inverkan multimediala inslag har för förtroendet av en e-handelsapplikation, vid initialt användande. En undersökning har genomförts med hjälp av en kooperativ utvärdering av fyra e-handelsapplikationer vilka innehåller olika typer av multimediala inslag har.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att multimediala inslag inverkar positivt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer. Däremot finns indikationer på att för hög grad av multimedialt inslag inverkar negativt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer..

Rapporten behandlar digital kommunikation med fokus på sociala medier. Syftet var att utreda informationsflödet på sociala medier samt att konstruera en matematisk modell över det. Resultatet blev en modell som inbegriper centrala strukturer vad gäller informationens spridning och mottagarnas uppfattning av den. Modellen behöver validerasoch eventuellt vidareutvecklas. Slutsatsen är att vissa sociala medier sprider information bättre än andra och att det är viktigt att identifiera dessa för en optimerad informationsspridning.

In this paper we examine the possibilities to develop the population based research in Sweden by using technological advancements. The problem that exists with population based research today is that there is a contrast between conducting important research on one side and preserving the individuals? integrity on the other. To examine this problem we are studying two projects that are active in this area. The two projects are SIMSAM (Swedish Initiative for research on Microdata in the Social and Medical Sciences) and DDB (Demografiska databasen).

En PID-regulator är implementerad i en mikrokontroller, som även AD-omvandlar en sensorsignal, samt styr motorer via H-bryggor med pulsbreddsmodulering. I rapporten förklaras framtagning av diskret PID-regulator, processorkort, motorkort, val av komponenter och sensor för att mäta robotens vinkel mot ett vertikalplan.Roboten kan balansera stillastående, men behöver kompletteras ytterligare med hjulåterkoppling för att kunna balansera medan den kör. Gardens from the first decades of the 20th century are often described as seen from a sublime ownership perspective. It may be artists, authors or some other intellectuals, they are all attributed as creators of the referred estate. As far as practically oriented gardeners, constructors or garden consultants are mentioned, they are consequently seen as the mere instruments for carrying out the intentions of the actual owners. Referring to those circumstances it is however well worth notifying that all properties, and in particular the gardens belonging to it, are submitted to a constant change. For anyone acquainted with garden work, it is quite obvious that the gardens vitality is closely related to the ongoing design process, by which form and content are created and re-created.

Denna uppsats undersöker möjligheterna att återskapa en så kallad ?smear? i en digital arbetsmiljö. Smear är en metod som härstammar ur stiliserad, klassisk animation och används för att beskriva en mycket snabb rörelse mellan två positioner genom att formen på karaktären eller det animerade objektet smetas ut. Effekten användes till en början för sitt estetiska värde som ett led i den nya stilutveckling som skedde inom animationsbranschen under 1930-tal, men kom senare att utnyttjas främst av ekonomiska skäl. Då klassisk animation i Disney-stil är mycket tidskrävande sökte många mindre studios efter sätt att rationalisera bort arbete utan att tappa för mycket i kvalitet, för att kunna producera material till tv snabbt och kostnadseffektivt.

In this essay the authors have searched to get an understanding of howthe situation where for a person being handicapped and of sámi heritage in Swedenduring the 1800´s to the beginning of 1900´s. In this qualitative study, church booksand local governmental records from the time has been the sources for data. Findingsregarding sámi and disability first of all shows that the sámi didn´t produce any ownwritten records, this means we had to use records produced by Swedish authorities.These are the only records available from the time. Records that gave us theauthorities point of view. When working with historical documents it is the contextwere they were produced in and their implied readership that is of great importance.Using this method gives the possibility to tell the story by the perspective of theexposed, in our case sámi people with disabilities.

The business potential of software defined radio (SDR) technology is studied by evaluating whether or not its characteristics correspond to those particular to a disruptive technology. The maturity of the SDR technology concept is illuminated by analyzing the opinions and perspectives of a selection of representatives for different stakeholders in the wireless communications market. Characteristics as, for example, the degree of consensus about the utility of SDR technology and the awareness of features and limitations are studied by application of the theory of technological frames. This theory helps us understand how and when technology evolution takes place. Finally we describe the value network structures of some potentially viable application areas for SDR and suggest some possible business opportunities based on SDR technology.This thesis is carried out as a case study and the research data is obtained from secondary sources, such as literature and Internet publications as well as interviews with people well experienced in the field of wireless communications.
