In this paper I present a website on the Internet. The EuropeanLinkTreasury ELT is a resource to Swedish children between 10 and 15 years of age. I am looking at this resource from a gender point of view. I want to see if ELT has thought of this perspective. Are there as many websites for girls as there are for boys? I want to see if the text is separated between gender.

3D-Projicering På Arkitektur

Detta arbete beskriver arbetsgång och tillvägagångssätt i samband med att digital grafik skall projiceras på fysisk arkitektur, dvs hur det kan gå till när datorgrafik skall appliceras på verkliga byggnader med projektorer. Texten beskriver översiktligt vad 3d-projektionsmappning är, samt hur denna typ av projicering tekniskt sett kan gå till. Aktuell programvara och hårdvara som kan användas för detta ändamål, beskrivs utifrån de funktioner som är specifika för just 3d-projektions mappning.Mitt resultat har i sin helhet framkommit under en projektarbetsperiod på mediaföretaget North Kingdom, och det tillvägagångssätt som beskrivs i detta arbete har därför på ett självklart sätt alla referenspunkter i detta mediaföretag..

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether it is possible for SCA to update their stand register with use of digital aerial photos photographed with a Zeiss/Intergraph DMC. ?Updating? in this study implies the delineation of stands and estimating stand variables such as average stand height, volume density, stand volume, and tree species composition in order to identify stands which can be of current interest for thinning. The study also includes how the aerial photo material and experience of the interpreter can influence the quality of the interpreted variables. The aerial photo interpretations were made by both experienced and inexperienced interpreters.

This thesis examines five deposits, some of which contain stone axes, at the settlement in V?nersn?s, Sweden. Two of them date to the late Mesolithic era. The aim is to explore the ritual world of the late Mesolithic in V?sterg?tland, Sweden and its relationship to the landscape.

Hjortpark, kronoskog och ladugård : En bebyggelseundersökning av Skyttsie Hage på Skanörs ljung

This essay is about a deserted medieval habitation called Skyttsie Hage which is located in the south of Sweden in the Scania province where it lies on a moor on the Falsterbopeninsula. Remains of five to six larger buildings have been found here with a surrounding earthwork, although it's not known for sure what kind of habitation they have been part of. Local folklore from the 17:th century states the area as a place where pirates lived, and that this was the reason for it's devastation. Another says that there once stood a breedingfarm belonging to the danish crown. Archaeologists have made several speculations which includes a deer park, a royal estate, an isolated farm or a smaller village.

Rysslands påverkan på den vitryska demokratiseringsprocessen

This thesis sets out to investigate three questions, first, how the Belarusian democratization process has progressed since the country?s independence in 1991 to the year of 2006. Second, how the relationship between Russia and Belarus has progressed during this time and third, if and how Russia has affected the democratization process. The study has been conducted through qualitative method, mainly using books and articles as sources of information. It has been found that the democratization process in Belarus has evolved in a negative direction ever since the presidential election of 1994.

In the middle of the 19th century was Calluna heath the major nature type in Halland, but the remaining parts today is only 1 500 hectares which is a 99 % decrease of the Calluna heath mainly due to an increase in forest plantations and arable fields. I have made a quantitative study how the Calluna heath of Grönabur & Sandsjöbacka has changed between 1841 and 2005 and why it didn?t disappear in the same manner, as it did in other parts of Halland. The studying of original sources as historical maps, literature and by doing field visits has been significant for the final result. The main reason for the different development of the Calluna heath in the investigation area (69 % decrease), compare to elsewhere in Halland, is the establishment and management of a nature reserve..

Mitt projekt är en film i 3d med en skräckfylld underton som utspelas genom en fiktiv persons ögon där färden går genom en skog fram till vad som ser ut att vara en nedlagd fabrik. Men där tystheten från början råder visar sig både det ena och det andra utav märkligheter uppstå! Effekterna för den mörka upplevelsen är prioriterad framför en begriplig handling, och därför finns inga övertydliga budskap som underskattar betraktarens egna slutsatser av filmen. Filmen är ett experiment med 3d, postproduktion och ljud som visar en blandning av konkreta spänningsmoment och en morbid känsla av rå död!.

Internet and the digitalization of products: A potent mix or recipe for disaster? A case study of the music industry

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how the ongoing controversy surrounding the Internet, the phenomena of digitalization and file sharing will affect the music industry in the form of the ?big five? labels. Furthermore the thesis aims to present a recipe of strategies for the companies? survival by studying their situation through a theoretical perspective in conjunction with a comparative analysis with industries facing the digitalization challenge. The theoretical contribution lies in the strategic perspective at an industry level.

This master thesis examines commercial video games and their relation to the concept of immersion and realism. Games as a communicative medium is quite a new area of interest within rhetorical research in Sweden. Most of the research conducted has, however, been focused on gaming and formation on opinion ? games that explicitly tries to persuade the player, unlike commercial games that focus on entertainment, that is. But that does not mean that commercial games cannot influence us.

Samtiden reflekterad i historiska filmer

In this essay I have studied how the film industry in the USA has worked with history in movies ever since the birth of film. I have also studied if Swedish teenagers are influenced by the contemporary reflections often showed in these movies. Furthermore I discussed how to work with contemporary reflections on film in a classroom.In these studies I used a group of teenager in the eight-grade. I stated of by asking the teenagers a verity of questions about movies and their interests in movies. Afterwards I showed them four different scenes from two different movies which all included reflections to today?s society.

The Airsoft Community always search for realism and optimal performance.When the performance and/or the realism in your AEG1 aren?t enough you turn to modifications toimprove the weapon. But to manufacture such modifications isn?t that easy, hence you turn tocompanies that are specialized in creating such devices.The goal with this project is to create a prototype of a modification called ?Programmable MOSFET?and targets optimization of the electrical components within the AEG. This means that you digitalizethe control of your AEG thus entails new functions and more stability to the system that isn?t possiblewith its mechanical predecessor.A prototype has been manufactured and programmed with functions according to requirementspecificationsthen it was tested on an airsoft-gearbox with rewarding results.

Ljuddesign för dynamiskt narrativ

I denna undersökning, om begrepp inom ljuddesign som kan bidra till ett dynamiskt narrativ, ser vi kadenser som en möjlig metod att arbeta utifrån. Med tanke på hur man arbetar med ljud och musik i ljudmotorer till spel kan vi konstatera att kadenser kan vara passande för förmedling av narrativ. Det kräver dock att man förstår kontexten, där kadenserna förekommer. Vi har kommit fram till ett sätt att förklara ljuddesign genom en samling av teorier, akustiskt timmer, dvs. hur man kan förmedla något med ljud, antingen fristående eller tillsammans med ett annat medium..
