Background: Palliative care is something that all people should have the right to be allowed to, to be able to enjoy the qualities of life, even when someone has been afflicted with illness that cannot be cured. How do the nurses in municipal home-care deal with and prepare themselves to perform a righteous task? Aim: The aim of this study is to illuminate nurses, comprehensions of palliative care within municipal home-care. Method: The method is a questionnaire to nurses. Results: The results did comply to law and regulations.

In addition, published surveys were used in support of reasoning.Results: Neither the curriculum or the syllabus mentions homework. There are no directives for how much time should be dispensed with and the extent of a homework should be. In teacher training literature the homework is not discussed.

This essay is from a student at the cultural science program in Karlstad University. The essay in Culture studies deals about the history use and about the cultural-historical values on buildings. The buildings are from a certain area called the neighborhood Almen and have in the past been threatening many times of demolition. The neighborhood Almen buildings survived a huge city fire back in the 19th century. Since then the buildings has been known as a memory and by the inhabitants and as the oldest part of the city left.

This thesis examines young people's thoughts about their presence on social media. With asocial constructive approach the study focused on how young people think and act on socialmedia in relation to constructions of gender and normality. The analysis is based on fourgroup interviews with 13-year old boys and girls. The theoretical approach is based partly onsocial constructionism where discourses and ideas of normality are identified and analyzed.Erving Goffman's theory of social interaction was central to illustrate how young peoplepresents themselves based on the prevailing discourses. It is clear that they adjust theirrepresentations of themselves depending on the context.

I denna uppsats fokuserar vi på den kreativa processen vid generering av idéer i områden av digital media och konst för att se om det finns tydliga skillnader eller likheter i hur kreativt arbete för sig inom båda områden. That is why it is interesting to know how teachers can create an education environment with support of digital tools that fulfills a meaning for themselves, the pupils and the goals of the curriculum. This study is about how six teachers in one elementary school creates an education environment with support of digital tools and how they think the affect the pupils cooperation, communication and participation.The theoretical frame for this study is built in a sociocultural perspective, where people learn and develop through participation in social practices. To get the understanding of how teachers are thinking about the challenges and possibilities that digital tools have in the education environment, I choose a qualitative research method.

Samt möjlighet till att hitta och ta in digitalt lagrade media i form av filmer och text.Rapporten går igenom tankeprocessen, planeringen och utförandet samt teoretiska och praktiska lösningar att arbeta i HTML, PHP programmering, SQL, CSS samt JavaScript för att skapa en digital mötesplats som innehåller forum, användarfunktioner, uppladdning av media, profildesign, sökfunktioner mm. Den ger även en överblick i att jobba med Google API för sökfunktion samt phpbb3-anpassning av en redan fungerande login/registreringsfunktion på den egna sidan. The spread of digital photography has created major changes in the previously stable Swedish photofinishing market. We investigate how companies act to survive in the face of technological change, through our research question: What strategies have actors in the photofinishing business chosen during the changeover from analog to digital photofinishing? Using a deductive method, we have conducted semi-structured interviews with 11 actors in the photofinishing business. Innovation management studies innovation from a number of perspectives, describing effects of innovations on the competitive ability of established actors, and on the value of their resources. The companies were not prepared for the speed of the change.

The purpose of the present study was to study if the systemic blood pressure in cats significant increases due to stress associated with a visit to a veterinarian clinic. We also wanted to investigate the clinical utility of two different methods for indirect blood pressure measurements in cats by assessing how easy they were to use and how reliable measurements they provided. The methods that were used were oscillometric (Memo Diagnostic) and ultrasound-doppler technique (Minidop). The blood pressure was measured in both clinical environment and home environment. Fifty cats were used in the study, from which measurements were impossible to obtain in one cat.

Bakgrund: Skolios kan bero på många olika orsaker. Beroende på dess orsak delas den in i strukturell och funktionell skolios. Vid idiopatisk skolios finns ingen känd orsak och dessa patienter utgör 80 % av de strukturella skolioserna. Det är vanligt att idiopatisk skolios upptäcks hos barn som är 10-12 år. Patienter med idiopatisk skolios kan komma att genomgå flera radiologiska undersökningar och det är därför viktigt att använda så låg stråldos som möjligt.Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att ta reda på hur stora stråldoser patienter med skolios får i samband med konventionella undersökningar.
