Bäddat för trubbel? : En studie om pars konflikter med fokus på tillit, skam och genus

Den här studien avser att, genom kvalitativa intervjuer med par, besvara frågan om hur vi kan förståpars konflikter och hanteringen av dessa utifrån begreppen tillit, skam och genus. Begreppen syftartill att ge en kompletterad förståelse för pars konflikter på mikronivå, samt till att kontextualiseradessa i förhållande till en samhällelig genus- och tvåsamhetsnorm. Konflikter i parrelationer är attbetrakta som nödvändiga och deras inverkan på relationen handlar om hur de hanteras, samt om hurparet interagerar överlag. Tillit tycks ha en preventiv funktion vad gäller konflikthantering ochrelationens tillstånd, och leder vidare till s.k. optimal differentiering, enligt vilken partnerna uppnårbalans mellan individuella och relationella behov.

Affärsmodeller inom E-commerce : ? Hur lyckas man som småföretagare på Internet

To start a company on the Internet is something that has appealed a lot of people during the last couple of years. Some of the companies have succeeded in their struggle but a lot of companies have failed to live out their ambition. This paper deals with the concept of e-commerce and aims to study whether or not the companies that has succeeded has made use of business models and what other factors that is important that you wont find in any written theory.The paper also aims to study the concept of business models and what a business model consists of. To be able to do this research we have interviewed three different companies that are all active in e-commerce and have survived for at least three years. Two of the companies are classical web shops that sell products to their customers and the last one is a site with articles about hardware and IT business in general.

Chefsarbete i en organisationsförändring: Ett kulturperspektiv på struktur, system och arbetsklimat

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att utifrån ett kulturellt perspektiv studera hur den verkställande chefens inställning till parametrarna system, struktur och arbetsklimat formar hens chefsarbete i en organisationsförändring och att genom ett kulturperspektiv bidra till en förståelse för hur de tre parametrarna kan påverka ledarens handlingar i process, mål och resultat av förändringen. Metod: Empiri har samlats in genom personliga intervjuer med öppna svarsalternativ, genom fyra respondenter som samtliga har positionen chef närmast de anställda och samtliga har genomfört en organisationsförändring. Slutsats: I studien har vi kommit fram till att den verkställande chefens inställning till parametrarna påverkar hens chefsarbete vid en organisationsförändring genom att hen formar sitt chefsarbete beroende på vilken parameter som är mest betydelsefull för individen. Vad den verkställande chefen värderar högst i sitt ledarskap skapas genom tidigare erfarenheter, inställning och auktoritet..

The purpose of this study has been to maintain a deeper understanding of how unestablished, professional musicians can get discovered by the music industry by communication, branding and positioning of their brand at social media.We found that fans have a greater impact on unestablished musicians than we previously thought. They have to create an identity for their brand, keep active on social media and engage their fans. Musical artists must maintain an ongoing dialogue to keep their fanbase, preferably with emotions involved. No fans equals minimum attention from the industry. Uniformity and professionalism is also important, because it evokes seriousness.

Background: The strategic importance of purchasing departments is increasing, yet supply risks are rather uncharted. The procurement of coffee involves supply risks and the purchaser needs to be able to handle these to enable the roasting-house to produce coffee as specified. Purpose: To chart risks in connection with the procurement of coffee as well as the possibilities of handling these. The thesis also examines if general risk management theories are applicable on the supply risk present within Swedish roasting-houses and can become an integral partof the purchasing process. Method: A qualitative case study of the purchasing process of Swedish roasting- houses.

Farmers preferred end-values related to their use of forward contract : a means-end chain analysis

Today?s farmers are constantly affected by the fluctuating world market prices on grain and thereby the price risk that comes with the price fluctuations. The volatile prices of grain increase the price risk within the business, which in turn affects the profitability of the business. The fluctuating prices together with the increased price risk within the farm business have opened up the market for hedging instruments. In this master thesis project, the aim is to identify the underlying end-values of 30 Swedish farmers? related to their choice of using hedging and the product; forward contract.

The purpose of this report was to investigate how the Umeå School of Business and Economics at Umeå university can work to increase the share of courses and programmes that discuss sustainable development. Furthermore the purpose was to develop an action plan that can be used to increase that share. Methods used were a questionnaire directed towards the educators at the Umeå School of Business and Economics and an assessment of the content of courses and programmes connected to the Umeå School of Business and Economics. There was no clear structured way of working with education for sustainable development, but at the same time there was a will to integrate sustainable development in the education. Curricula were according to the educators an important tool to achieve this integration, their experience were that there are not enough time, people and money to work with sustainable development in the education and they would like to see more clear directions from the management.

En studie med elever som erhållit 20,0 i gymnasialt slutbetyg - A study with "grad A students"

Studiens syfte är att få en ökad förståelse för och kunskap om elever med 20,0 i slutbetyg på gymnasiet. För att uppnå syftet formulerades följande två frågeställningar; Vad krävs, enligt tio respondenter, för att uppnå, vilka är drivkrafterna och vilket värde har det gymnasiala slutbetyget 20,0? samt hur tio respondenter beskriver sin väg till slutbetyget 20,0 på gymnasiet? Metoden som använts är intervju av kvalitativ karaktär. Studiens empiri består av svar från tio respondenter med 20,0 i gymnasialt slutbetyg. Empirin relateras till forskning om betyg och bedömningar, urval, differentiering, kunskap, högpresterande elever etcetera.

Conclusions: Despite a difference in the relations the interorganizational accounting is designed and used in a similar way. The interorganizational accounting that exists in the two relations has a medium scope, fast timeline, high aggregation and high integration. The information is mainly used for attention directing and for decision making.

Kunskap & strategi : En studie av strategisk kongruens mellan affärs- och kunskapsstrategi i managementkonsultföretag

This study examines how management consulting firms work with business- and functional strategy and how these strategies are interrelated. More specifically we focus on business strategy (business unit level) and knowledge strategy (functional level) and whether these are aligned or not, i.e. whether strategic congruence exists.A number of recent studies have examined the importance of business strategy and knowledge strategy in management consulting firms separately, but few have pointed out the importance of the alignment between them. With this study we contribute to the strategic field of research with a model that describes how management consulting firms should work with their knowledge strategy given their business strategy. The model is developed through a synthesis between theories in the field of strategic congruence, business- and functional strategies and thereafter tested by an empirical case study of six management consulting firms.

Att arbeta med strategier och mål i en offentlig verksamhet - En fallstudie om strategiimplementering inom ett kommunalt bostadsbolag

Background: During the 2000s, there has been an increased interest in studying business management and strategy implementation with customer focus in public organisations. To achieve business goals it is important to continuously work with strategies to meet customerdemands for increased efficiency and service. Purpose: The aim of the essay is to examine how to work on strategy implementation in a municipal real estate company from a management perspective in order to achieve overall goals. Method: The study?s methodology is a case study based on qualitative telephone interviews that were conducted with representatives in managerial positions from various levels of the company. The choice of the qualitative data was considered relevant in relation to the chosen topic of the thesis. The empirical data was then compared to the theoretical framework of the thesis. Results: Strategies guide the company to achieve the overall goals, which are later on broken down into operational targets.

Syftet med vår undersökning av nybilsförsäljarna i Blekinge är att klargöra hur deras belöningssystem är uppbyggda. Sett ur ett ledningsperspektiv vill vi också veta hur de uppfattar sitt belöningssystem, och om de skulle vilja att det utvecklades vidare. Vi vill också ta reda på huruvida deras belöningssystem resulterar i de effekter som de eftersöker, och om systemet resulterar i ett positivt ekonomiskt resultat..
