Förpackning av keramiska substrat
Detta examensarbete handlar om forpackning av keramiska substrat. Canning ar det universellanamnet pa forpackning av keramiska substrat. Keramiska substrat kan vara katalysatorer ellerpartikelfilter som anvands som ett efterbehandlingssystem i bensin och Diesel applikationer.Examensarbetet genomfordes hos Scania CV AB.I installationsprocessen sveps en keramisk fibermatta runt det keramiska substratet. Substratetinkapslas sedan med ett metalholje. Rapporten inleds med att beskriva olika installationsmetoder.Fordelar och tillampningsomraden for det olika metoderna beskrivs.Sedan beskrivs det ingaende komponenterna.
Nyinstallation av Larmsystem Till NOHAB-Diesel : Denna rapport innefattar förfarande från att konstruera och installera ett helt nytt larmsystem
Skolfartyget M/S Calmare Nyckel, som ägs och opereras av Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar används i utbildningssyfte av både blivande nautiker och maskinbefäl. Driften av NOHAB-Dieseln, som används som generator, har varit problemfylld med ständiga och oförklarliga stopp. Det larmsystem som installerades av Oskarshamnsvarvet var högst bristfälligt. Larmsystemet var personfarligt då det var byggd på 230volt, dessutom var larmpunkterna byggda i serie med endast en stoppindikering. Avsaknaden av elritningar över systemet gjorde att bristerna i larmsystemet inte kunde felsökas. Dessutom fanns ingen indikering i kontrollrummet utan endast lokalt vid NOHAB-Dieseln. Vi har gjort en nyinstallation av larmsystemet på mer personsäkra 24VDC, med samtliga larmpunkter parallella och med tillhörande indikering på panel, både lokalt vid NOHAB-Dieseln samt i pulpeten för god översyn av systemet.
Co-Branding as a Tool for Strategic Brand Activation - How to Find the Ideal Partner; An Explanatory Case Study in the Fashion and Design Sector
Thesis purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the interdependencies within the process of partner selection in the fashion and design sector and the emanating criteria for finding the ideal co-branding partner in order to use co-branding as a strategic brand activation tool. Methodology: Multiple Case Study Theoretical perspective: Brand Building and Brand Activation, Relationship Marketing, Strategic Alliances, Affinity Partnering, Co-Branding, Consumer-Brand Relationships Empirical data: Interviews with expert consultants and company representatives (adidas, BMW, BMW MINI, Diesel, H&M, Opel, Philips, Sharp, Volkswagen) Conclusion: Partner selection depends decisively on the different co-branding aims and incorporates the crucial step when using co-branding as a tool for strategic brand activation. The co-branding aim and the corresponding partner lead to various types of relationships, which, in this study, are anthropomorphized to connect the world of marketing and branding to real life. Fashion and design brands have proven to be particularly eligible as co-branding partners for brand activation due to their innovative and trend-oriented nature..

The production of oilseed rape is an important issue in Sweden and those who never have grown oilseed rape (OSR) are now willing to try. It is always a risk to grow oilseed rape, specially winter OSR, because of outwintering. This risk increases as you go north and therefore establishment and autumn growth is very important. These are some of the reasons that I have chosen to write about the establishment of winter oilseed rape in Middle Sweden.

Skedala solcellspark
Skedala solcellsanläggning kommer att vara Sveriges största projekterade solcellspark på4000 m2solceller och en total installerad toppeffekt på 610 kWp (maximala toppeffekten somanläggningen kan leverera). Solcellsparken projekteras åt Halmstad Energi och Miljö AB,HEM, som har en deponi under sluttäckning i Skedala. Skedala är ett samhälle nordost omHalmstad. När sluttäckningen är klar vill man använda marken till något positivt som är braför både miljö och invånare. Uppgiften i projektet har varit att projektera och beräknalönsamheten av en solcellsanläggning på området.

Ethanol fuel is a biofuel, which been widely reported in the public debate and on the fuel market the last years. Ethanol is sold as both E85 and as a five percent admixture of all petrol sold in Sweden. Research studies on ethanol fuel often focus on environmental issues surrounding the production and utilization of ethanol as a fuel, and omits the private and business aspects of the subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the economics of ethanol as a fuel. How the Swedish market for ethanol is and how it evolved over time and what the future prospects are.
Icke glorifierande reklam inom mode
Sammanfattning Uppsatsen behandlar motbilder i reklam, icke glorifierande reklam och dess uppkomst. För att belysa den icke glorifierande reklamen och dess bakgrund har vi valt att använda fyra olika modeföretag med starkt framträdande reklam. Företagen är Benetton, Diesel, H&M och Sisley och alla fyra har använt sig av uppmärksammad reklam som bryter mot den kutym som branschen normalt använder sig av. Uppsatsen vill undersöka vilken roll som reklamsprängning haft för utvecklingen av den icke glorifierande reklamen, som blivit allt vanligare. Vidare analyserar uppsatsen ett antal reklambilder från de fyra ovan nämnda fallföretagen inom modebranschen.
Distribution av bensin och diesel från Gävle Hamn : Analys av alternativa distributionssystem
Sammanfattningen syftar till att ge en övergripande bild om vad arbetet handlar om, för att skapa en nyfikenhet till att läsa hela arbetet.Studiens syfte var att analysera alternativa distributionssystem för petroleumprodukter från Gävle Hamn. Där vi har valt två slutdestinationer, norra Stockholmsregionen med Brista som ett alternativ och det andra alternativet är Västerås. De faktorer som vi har utgått från när vi har analyserat distributionssystemen är ekonomiska, miljömässiga och tekniska möjligheter.Den metod som användes var kvalitativ och det empiriska materialet inhämtades genom intervjuer. I studien har nio respondenter intervjuats, vi anser att de personerna har varit relevanta för studiens syfte. Resultatet har analyserats med hjälp av tidigare forskning och teorier inom ämnet.Resultatet visade att det skulle vara ekonomsikt, miljömässigt och tekniskt möjligt att starta upp petroleumtransporter till norra stockholmsområdet.

With a shifting world market and periodically profitability issues, Swedish farmers seekalternative ways to enhance their profitability. One interesting alternative to get a highervalue and enhance products is bioDiesel, a way to improve the profitability on a farmscale.The Diesel that is produced and sold, already have a mixture of 5% bioDiesel, andthere is a possibility to add more bioDiesel to it. By developing new engines severalengine-manufacturers now allow a mixture up to 100% bioDiesel in their engines. Hencethere is a market for an increased production of bioDiesel. The aim of this study were toinvestigate the possibilities and the problems related to farm-scale production ofbioDiesel, and to study the profit margin in the production.

In the coming years, organic food waste will be collected in the region of Gästrikland, Sweden. The collection is planned to cover the entire region by the end of year 2007. To start with, smaller amounts are being collected and transported to a central composting plant in Sala. However, a central composting plant in the region of Gästrikland is projected.The objective of this thesis is to evaluate a number of possible methods for composting of organic food wastes regarding their environmental impacts and localization.There are four scenarios for future composting of organic waste that have been evaluated. There are two that consist of membrane composting, either in Sala or in the region of Gästrikland.

Leisure boats of today have a lot of electronics that needs battery power to work. In additionto that electric propulsion systems have gotten more popular lately, which further increasesthe demand for high battery capacity. The batteries used are mostly lead-acid batteries and toget the most out of the batteries it is important to treat them right. To optimize the electricsystem it is important to have knowledge of how the batteries and the electric motor are usedand which factors affect e.g. efficiency and recharging.A new electric drive that can replace old Diesel engines is being developed and needs testingand evaluation.

Due to increasing regulations regarding new Diesel vehicles particulate matteremissions the new Scania truck, Scania Euro 6, has been equipped with a particulatefilter. This component effectively stores the particles in the exhaust gas but must becleaned in order to prevent itself from clogging. The filter is cleaned through aprocess named regeneration which is a thermodynamic process in which thetemperature of the filter is raised through fuel supplied to the exhaust gas.The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the development of improved controlstrategies of the temperature during the regeneration process through thedevelopment of model-based controllers. These controllers are designed in order tohave good performance in stationary as well as automatic regeneration.In order to develop these model-based controllers a model of the system isconstructed. The model is described as a linear thermodynamic grey-box model withflow varying parameters, showing good results in validation.The model provides a simulation environment during the controller design, which isfocused around the development of linear regulators with the exhaust gas mass flowas a scheduling variable whose size determines controllers? mode of operation.

Sports are often seen as costly polluter but in the same time the motor sports have encourages a large part of development, both for vehicles and other industries. Inventions like rear mirror and ABS brakes come from motor sports. One way to once again drive development forward while making motor sports carbon-neutral is to run the race cars on hydrogen. In this thesis, the goal is to convert a spark ignition engine for hydrogen operation.
