This report is a description of a developed educational simulator over rail vehicles and its components. The simulator is a hardware-based prototype over a door system on rail vehi- cles. System specialists and technicians will use the prototype. The Simulator should give the user a technical demonstration on how components work in a door system. The proto- type consists of motor, switch, relay and sensor.

Inaktivitet har blivit ett stort problem i dagens stillasittande samhälle och stor vikt läggs på de intellektuella färdigheterna. Konditionsträningens positiva påverkan på de kognitiva funktionerna har under de senaste åren studerats och resulterat i ett flertal artiklar rörande ämnet. Den forskning som bedrivits har undersökt den kortsiktiga påverkan av kognitionen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka den omedelbara påverkan på de kognitiva funktionerna: resonemang, koncentration och uppmärksamhet efter högintensiv konditionsträning samt se om en ökad kondition förbättrade kognitionen hos friska unga vuxna. Syftet med undersökningen uppnåddes genom en kvantitativ single system experimental design studie där författarna gick in som deltagare.

Bakgrund: Yoga förklaras som ett tillstånd som förenar kroppen, själen och anden och fokuserar på harmoni och helhet i människan. Ashtanga är en kraftfull yogaform där förbestämda positioner knyts samman med hjälp av en återkommande rörelsesekvens, vinyasan. Yoga har visat ha effekt på psykiska förmågor såsom ökad koncentrationsförmåga, samt fysiska förmågor som ökad syreupptagningsförmåga och ledrörlighet. Syfte: Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka hur ashtangayoga fyra dagar i veckan under åtta veckor påverkade koncentrationsförmåga, syreupptagningsförmåga och rörlighet hos två friska individer. Metod: Två kvinnor, 25 och 29 år gamla tränade under åtta veckor ashtangayoga fyra dagar i veckan.

Arbetet syftar till att ge exempel på hur konstruktivismen kan användas praktiskt genom olika arbetssätt inom fysikundervisningen i den svenska gymnasieskolan. Arbetssätten som tas upp är demonstrationsexperimentet, den induktiva och den deduktiva klassrumslaborationen, hemlaborationen samt problemlösningen. För vart och ett av dessa arbetssätt ges ett exempel i konstruktivistisk anda, som så vitt upphovsmännen vet, inte tidigare har använts i detta sammanhang. Denna uppsats syfte är att undersöka Aftonbladet och Dagens Nyheters rapportering och diskussion om den antirasistiska och antinazistiska kärrtorpdemonstrationen den 15 december 2013 veckan efter händelsen. Uppsatsen syftar till att besvara följande frågeställningar: Hur beskrevs demonstranterna och motdemonstranterna? Hur beskrevs själva händelsen? Hur diskuterades nazism, högerextrem, vänsterextrem och våld i samband med demonstrationen? Hur kan mediers beskrivning av extremism i Kärrtorp förstås ur ett ideologiskt och historiskt perspektiv? Urvalet inkluderar alla texter som beskriver demonstrationen och någon aktör och innefattar därmed ledare, nyhetsartiklar och krönikor. Som teoretisk utgångspunkt och metodologisk ansats användes en kritisk diskursanalys. Genom denna metod urskiljs hur normer och värderingar som finns på redaktionerna formar innehållet.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine and present the oportunities of solvingcontrol problems using Modelica. This is done by creating some demonstrationexamples with exercises. These examples should cover as many types of controlproblems as possible. Aim: Auditors objectivity is an obvious part of auditing, but there is doubts and hesitation in society today because of the corporate scandals that have occurred in recent years. Several researchers suggest that auditors actions and behaviors is connected to the ethical climate within the organization. A relationship that also affects auditors objectivity and independence. This thesis aims to investigate how the ethical climate influence auditors choice of relationship to their clients, by choosing a relational and close relationship or a transactional and distanced relationship. And if the client approach have an effect on the auditors objectivity.Method: A survey was conducted among 232 certified accountants in Sweden.

This thesis is about the effect of political efficacy on societal participation among youths aged 15 to 29. It takes a starting point in the gloomy view of the decline of political participation among citizens in the western world, especially pointing out youths as a threat to democracy. This is a broad subject to take on so my aim becomes a bit more specific. The aim of the thesis is therefore to investigate if belief in ones own capacity and in the responsiveness of the political system affects the actual participation among youths in Europe, independent of a set of alternative predictors. Moreover the thesis is divided into two sub-investigations, one qualitative and one quantitative.

Vallentuna municipality in Stockholm County, is planning to develop a management plan for a forest area owned by the municipality. The property is an urban forest and the hiking trail Roslagsleden runs through it. Hence the municipality intends to take extra care of the outdoor recreation interests, as well as forest biodiversity, but at the same time use the area for forestry. This study discusses how these three interests, recreation, biodiversity and forestry, differ in their views of how a forest should be managed, where they disagree and how they can coexist in the management of this area. In this study, a vegetation mapping of the area and an assessment of the forest?s conservation values was carried out.

This is an essay concerning the differences between boys? and girls? way of learning and how this difference influences the teaching in the technology subject. The method is divided in two. The first part is based on a survey over literature about teaching girls and boys in the technology subject. The second part is based on interviews with three male teachers in the same subject.

Vårt examensarbete går ut på att utforska processen kring att producera en artist och sedan presentera denne för skivbolag. Till grund för detta arbete ligger vår förra studie, ?Hur ser musikproducentens roll ut inom svensk populärmusik? och resultatet av den studien har vi i detta arbete omsatt i praktiken. Vi har nu arbetat med ett case, vilket bestod i att producera en sångerska och sammanföra hennes låtar till en homogen produktion för att slutligen presentera denna för två svenska majorskivbolag. Vid presentationen förde vi en diskussion med respektive A & R angående både vår presentation och artistpresentationer i allmänhet.

The quadcopter was at the beginning of the project completed when it came to hardware, and there was some software functionality implemented but no system for automatic stabilization. The main goal of the project was to implement such a system, and to combine it with the previous functionality to make the quadcopter operable and able to fly. To create a functioning and stable ground multiple basic software features has been implemented, and on top of that additional software to improve the safety, stability and functionality. The most important part is the control system that is responsible for converting sensor and control signals to suitable motor values.
