Denna studie handlar om jämställdhet vid handläggningen av EU-projekt vid Länsstyrelsen i Norrbottens län. Länsstyrelsen har fått i uppdrag av regeringen att implementera ett jämställdhetsperspektiv i alla regionala projekt som beviljas EU-medel. Vi fick i uppdrag av projektet ?Lyftet? att studera hur handläggarna arbetar för att implementera jämställdhet i EU- projekten. Syftet med vår studie är att beskriva hur jämställdheten beaktas vid handläggningen av EU-projekt.

Background: Physical activity is important to sustain your health, but there are also other factors which can influence health. One of them is the degree of sense of coherence. Aim: The main purpose of this study was to examine if there existed a correlation between amount of physical activity and degree of sense of coherence (SOC) in adolescents in the northern parts of Sweden. This study also dealt with differences and similarities between and within the whole examination- group and subgroups. Methods: A SOC- questionnaire with 29 items, developed by Antonovsky, was used.

This degree project contains a theoretical and a practical part about magazine design. Literature aboutthe subject?s typography and magazine design has been studied and put into practice on the professionaljournal Ingenjören. Besides of that a study about the history of magazine typography for the lastfifty years has been done.Typography and other design factors are important for the magazine to be readable and gives at thesame time the magazine an identity of its own, which has become more and more important throughoutthe last decades.The result of this degree project is a new design for Ingenjören, a design that agrees more with howthe journal want to be considered. A new template, a dummy and a manual have been produced.

IT-projekt bedrivs i många företag av olika anledningar. Orsaker till att genomföra ett IT-projekt kan exempelvis vara att hänga med i IT-utvecklingen, utveckla IT-produkter eller att stärka ett företags konkurrenskraft. Det spenderas stora summor och mycket tid på att bedriva IT-projekt och många människor arbetar i IT-projekt. Men alla IT-projekt får inte en lyckad utgång, utan många misslyckas. Ett misslyckande i ett IT-projekt kan påverkas av flera faktorer.Syftet med denna fallstudie är att analysera ett misslyckat IT-projekt för att komma fram till vilken eller vilka faktorer som påverkade misslyckandet och på vilket sätt.

This degree project focuses on the importance of being professional doing a job at the same time as being able to express one self in a professional way. The degree project also focuses on how the work as an environmental- and health inspector could be made easier by making the inspectors aware of their language and open to change. Finally the focus of this degree project lies on how positive contacts can be made with people despite them being informed of difficult or unwanted things.In order to get an overview of the inspectors? communication skills today the environmental- and health inspectors at the environment office in Laholm´s municipality were evaluated. The inspectors´ communications styles and languages were checked on the basis of the ?nonviolent communication model? by Marshall Rosenberg.The content and the result of this report were presented for the head of the environment office, the chairman of the committee and the participating inspectors in Laholm´s municipality.

Detta arbete gjordes som avslutning på Samhällsbyggnadsprogrammet med inriktning Samhällsplanering vid Luleå tekniska universitet. Syftet med projektet var att ta reda på förbättringsområden i arbetet med projekt inom Luleå kommuns Tekniska förvaltnings arbetsområde.För att ta reda på hur projektgången fungerar hades möten med representanter från olika avdelningar på Tekniska förvaltningen samt från andra förvaltningar. Utöver det gjordes även en teoristudie för att jämföra teorin med Tekniska förvaltningens projektprocess.Projektledning och teknik hanterar en stor mängd projekt varje år från flera andra avdelningar och förvaltningar. Arbetet med projekt fungerar för det mesta bra och ett ständigt förbättringsarbete finns. Förbättringsområden har identifierats i samband med början av processen när det gäller andra förvaltningar samt projektslut..

Through the different stages of life people have different requirements for their homes. The requirements changes depending on people?s life situation, lifestyleand age. Depending on where people are in life they live in different place, often in areas with other people who are in the same stage of life. In Sweden, this separation has always been noticeable, sometimes more than other.

Companies show interest in agile methods, but this can be challenging since these methods to a certain degree stand against traditional project methods. If the use of agile methods increase it is of importance to clarify what mechanisms that are significant to a successful result. The aim of this study is to clarify the role of the scrum master regarding conflict management in agile groups. The goal of the study is to better prepare the ScrumMaster to be ready to help the group in a conflict situation. In this examination a qualitative method has been used where five scrum masters, active in agile projects, have been interviewed about their role in conflict management.

The aim of the present study was to examine whether there are any differences in the self-estimated degree of anxiety and depression between men and women diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). A further  aim was to investigate if there is any association between the severity and duration of the disease and the level of anxiety and depression. A descriptive quantitative study was conducted. Data was collected by using Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), a self-assessment of anxiety and depression. Data was collected at follow-up visit with COPD-nurse in primary health care in Uppsala during weeks 6-12 in 2011.

This bachelor?s degree thesis was conducted in mechanical engineering at Halmstad University during spring semester 2010 in close collaboration with the company Gremo AB, located in Ätran, Sweden. Gremo AB produces, developes and sales forest machines in both Sweden and on the international market.Gremo AB belongs to one of the market leaders in forest industry, especially with their forwarder. In order to become a market leader even with their harvester, the company decided to change the harvester to have a swivel and a leveling driver cabin.The aim with this bachelor?s degree thesis was to develop a design concept for the harvester driver cabin, which Gremo AB can apply on the new harvester.

Then the language learning process and the approach in a preparatory class differs itself from a general class. The methods conducted in a preparatory class are not just focused on teaching as in a more traditional method. Achieving the objectives in a preparatory class depends on the individual student and the cohesion in the group. Students have different backgrounds and knowledge level, therefore it is extremely important that the teachers use different work methods in order to achieve and to promote the students' language development. The aim with this survey is to get the knowledge about what education methods is being used by teachers in a preparatory class.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the information use in teacher education students? degree projects. The first study is a reference analysis used to categorize the cited sources in 33 degree projects from the teacher education program at one Swedish university. The aim was to find out what types of sources were used, in particular the amount of citations to scholarly publications. The results of the reference analysis showed that the majority of sources used were text books.

Vi har arbetat med ett gemensamt masterprojekt på institutionen för Grafisk Design & Illustration.Vårt projekt bygger på att generera idéer, där vi använder lek- och lustbetonade workshops som en metod för kreativt skapande.Som en del av vårt projekt sammanställer vi en katalog över idéerna, tänkt att fungera som en idébank. Eftersom det inte trycks någon officiell utställningskatalog på Konstfack i år vill vi lansera denna idékatalog som "den officiella utställningkatalogen". Med hjälp av vår workshop-metod skapar vi 40-60 "masterprojekt" på sju av Konstfacks institutioner, utifrån idéen att man efter en konstnärlig utbildning kan applicera sin kreativitet på olika discipliner.Katalogen är viktig för att kunna presentera och jämföra våra projekt på lika villkor som de äkta masterprojekten. Denna jämförelse gör det möjligt för oss att väcka frågor som rör kvalitet och värde i ett projekt, i relation till besökarens upplevelse av nyssnämnda. Kommer man kunna skilja ett textilprojekt av en masterstudent på T, från ett textilprojekt av två masterstudenter på GD&I?.

Bakgrund: När projekt blir allt större och mer komplexa blir det ett ökat behov av ett delat ledarskap. Detta kan låta logiskt, men som vi har upptäckt så är det inte lika enkelt som det kan verka vid en första anblick. Det delade ledarskapet i denna typ av projekt är inte något som vi har sett fullt utvecklat i projektlitteraturen. Därför är det vår avsikt att utveckla detta område vidare genom att undersöka det delade ledarskapet i projektorganisationer. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att visa varför stora och komplexa projekt behöver ett delat ledarskap och på vilka viktiga roller ledarskapet delas upp samt att i viss mån visa på de problem som detta kan medföra och lösningar till dessa problem.
