This thesis aims to analyse a time series containing the annual accumulation rate of minerogenic matter in the lake Kassjo?n. First there is a theoretical survey of some frequently used tools for the analysis of time series in the time domain and in the frequency domain. This survey is followed by a simulation study that illustrates how the theoretical tools work in practice. After this, the time series "toolbox" is used to analyse the time series from Kassjo?n (5701 data points).

Sandvik Wire needed a review of the administrative part of the order fulfillment process and especially the work around packing and the inventory of finished goods. Therefore we acquired the assignment to investigate the administrative part of the order fulfillment process in the company with the purpose to identify potential for improvement. This investigation was performed with focus on the terminal and packing functions. The purpose with the investigation was also to identify critical factors for an efficient order fulfillment process and investigate if information quality is such a factor.Data was collected through interviews and observations on Sandvik Wire. With the help of this data the information and material flows was mapped, the work within terminal and packing, and adjacent functions was investigated.

AbstractThis study is about describing the pre- internationalization phase and to studycompanies that are in this phase. We are trying to capture characteristics of decisionmakersin the pre- internationalization phase, to then compare the theoretical materialwith empirical material from case companies. Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

Tidigare studier har visat att bristen på strukturell empowerment på vårdavdelning ofta leder till försämrad personalhälsa, sämre arbetsmiljö och mindre samarbete med kollegor samt högre grad av utmattningssymtom. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vårdpersonalens upplevelse av strukturell empowerment vid en akut kirurg- och ortopedavdelning, samt att undersöka om det finns några skillnader mellan sjuksköterskors och undersköterskors skattning av strukturell empowerment. Ytterligare ett syfte var att beskriva vårdpersonalens upplevelse av arbetstillfredsställelse samt att reliabilitetstesta ett instrument som mäter strukturell empowerment. Data gällande strukturell empowerment samlades in med instrumentet Condition of Work Effectiveness Questionnaire (CWEQ och CWEQ II) och data gällande arbetstillfredsställelse samlades in med en studiespecifik fråga. Femtioen enkäter delades ut, 43 personer svarade vid första mätningen och 39 personer vid andra mätningen.

The tomato is an important crop worldwide, and in recent years it has received great attention due to its rich content of carotenoids, which in studies indicate to have health benefiting properties. Many studies have been done in this area of research and in how to optimize the carotenoid content in tomatoes and tomato products. The objectives of this essay were to summarize present data in this field. The results were as follows:There are nine different carotenoids identified in tomatoes. Lycopene and ?-carotene are the ones that have been given the greatest attention.

Vid implementeringar av FIFO-arkitekturer har asynkrona FIFO-konstruktioner använts. Denna lösningsmetod har visat sig innehålla en del brister vid tillämpning på höghastighets system, vilket ledde till att synkrona FIFOn började ersätta asynkrona FIFOn. Den synkrona arkitekturen har samma funktonalitet som de asynkrona typerna med fördelar som högre hastighet och enklare gränssnitt. I rapporten har olika FIFO-konstruktioner behandlats och jämförelser har gjorts mellan synkrona och asynkrona arkitekturer. Det vid ISY konstruerade SRAM-minnet har sedan avgjort vilken typ av FIFO-arkitektur som varit bäst lämpad för implementering.

Syfte Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur ett organisationsutvecklingsprogram påverkar normativ styrning på ett företag. Dessutom vill vi skapa insikt i vilka effekter ett sådant program kan ge.

Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority) has been laser scanning Sweden since 2009. From the laser scanned data a digital elevation model (DEM) in grid format, with a resolution of 2 m, is produced. This DEM is called GSD-Höjddata, grid 2+ and from its data and the laser point cloud itself (in the form of a las-file) contour lines can be extracted. Lantmäteriet has not yet done this, but plans to update the contour lines in their cartographic products exist. If this is to be done in a satisfactory way an evaluation of different methods for it is needed.

This thesis presents an application that performs positioning of modules automatically based on given data for every module, and the development of it. The basis of the application is from a previous thesis code. On top of that code, more features and error handling has been added, as well as fixes for various bugs. A stress test has been performed and further development possibilities are being presented.The thesis work was carried out at Toyota Material Handling Mjölby (TMH) and was made in parallel with another thesis by Fredrik Holden who was generating data for the application. The invisible entrepreneurship is a study of owners of businesses with foreign heritage. It describes the unexplored relationship between ethnicity and class within this group of entrepreneurs.The result of the study is a model which I have found to be suitable to use when depicting the relationship between the ethnic profile and class. The model indicates that the importance of ethnicity decreases as both the owner of, and the business reach a more prominent class. The method of collecting data has been interviews with owners of businesses and Grounded theory has been used to analyse this data. Theories on ethnicity, owners of businesses with foreign heritage, and class in relation to ethnicity have been discussed on the basis of social constructivism.

Med utgångspunkt att självskadebeteende är ett internaliserat problem är syftet med studien att i en ungdomspopulation undersöka om självskadebeteende även är länkat till externaliserade problem. Vi undersöker även om självskadebeteende hänger samman med att i olika miljöer utsättas och utsätta andra för negativa beteenden. Studien använder redan insamlade data i forskningsprojekt kallat - ?Sju Skolor?: Center for Developmental Research (CDR). Data samlades in från 1478 högstadieelever.
