Vertikalt växthus : Ett gestaltningsförslag av växthus som bostadskomplement

Närproducerad odling är en trend som växer sig allt starkare och visar sig bland annat i form av stadsodlingar på tak och balkonger. Då det är begränsat med utrymme att odla på i städer är vertikala odlingar en alternativ lösning.I den här rapporten presenteras ett gestaltningsförslag av ett vertikalt växthus som ett bostadskomplement. Gestaltningen, byggtekniken och klimatet i växthuset är de områden som präglar dess form och tekniska lösningar.Växthuset har placerats på Haningeterrassen, ett bostadsområde under planeringför vilket olika skisser på kretsloppsanpassade växthus har tagits fram. Syftet var att ta fram ett förslag på hur ett växthus som bostadskomplement kan utformas, anpassas till platsen och bidra till en grönare stadsdel. Genom en platsanalys har ett lämpligt flerbostadshus valts som referenshus för projektet.Arbetet resulterade i ett förslag på ett vertikalt växthus som har kopplats till bostadshuset och ger de boende ett växthus i direkt anslutning till sin lägenhet.

Flextronics Design i Linköping, som ingår i den stora amerikanskägda Flextronics- koncernen, är en industrialiseringsenhet på mobiltelefonsidan. Det innebär att verksamheten kretsar kring att ta fram test- och monteringsprocesser, samt tillhörande utrustning, som sedan implementeras hos högvolymsfabrikerna belägna i olika låg-kostnads-länder.På mobiltelefonerna finns, beroende på modell, ett antal detaljer som pressas fast, antingen för hand, med en manuell press, eller med hjälp av en pneumatisk press. Den sistnämnda pressmetoden används när det rör sig om lite längre presstider på detaljen, från ett par sekunder och uppåt. Idag finns det två modeller som drivs med tryckluft och som pressar med olika kraftintervall beroende på vilket lufttryck som tillförs till systemet. Det har visat sig att det finns ett behov hos företaget att ta fram en ny konstruktion som pressar med ett lägre kraftintervall än de befintliga modellerna kan erbjuda.

This mounting tool is currently manufactured from injection-molded polyoxymethylene (POM), a thermoplastic. It has been noted that the life span of the tool is shortened as a result of abrasive wear that occurs during the attachment process of the ignition coil.An investigation of the possibility of manufacturing the mounting tool with a 3D-printer is undertaken in cooperation with ÅF, a consultant to Volvo Cars. A literature study is first presented to introduce broader knowledge on the subject.

This configuration is typically mechanically constrained by camshaft limitations, anda solution to circumvent this problem would be to use a different valve actuation principle.One example of this is to use pressurized air controlled by electrical solenoids. Such a systemhas been developed byCargine Engineering and this provides the starting point for this work. Tobe able to operate the valvetrain on an actual engine, a control system is needed.
