Inom intensivvården vårdas patienter med sviktande vitala funktioner där respiratorbehandling ofta kan vara en del av behandlingen. Invasiv respiratorbehandling leder till att patientens förmåga till verbal kommunikation upphör. Patienten befinner sig ofta i en utsatt situation där förlust av förmågan till verbal kommunikation kan leda till känslor av rädsla, oro och frustration. Patientens nedsatta kommunikationsförmåga ställer höga krav på vårdpersonalens förmåga att förmedla och tolka information.Syftet med studien är att beskriva vårdpersonalens upplevelser av att kommunicera med den vakna intuberade intensivvårdspatienten. Studien genomfördes som en kvalitativ intervjustudie med induktiv ansats.

Over 40 miljon people in the world suffer from hiv/aids today. Africa is the continent that is worst affected by hiv/aids but how is the situation in Sweden? Why is it so quiet concerning hiv/aids in Sweden? Our aim with this work was to find out about the hiv/aids situation in Sweden and particulary in Malmö. The result of our research was that hiv/aids have increased since the year 2000 and most of the people had caught the infection in other countries than Sweden. This raised our curiosity concerning how immigrants/refugees are being treated when they arrive in Malmö and what are being done to stop hiv/aids from spreading further.We became very disappointed when we realised how little that is actually being done and how poorly the collaboration between the institutions are working.

BakgrundPå en intensivvårdsavdelning (IVA) vårdas patienter med akuta, livshotande sjukdomar. Patienterna utgör en del i en familj och deras sjukdomstillstånd blir en angelägenhet som påverkar hela familjen emotionellt. Närstående till kritiskt sjuka patienter är ofta djupt oroade över sina anhöriga och ibland är intensivvårdsavdelningen deras första kontakt med sjukvården. Sjukvårdspersonal är den yrkeskategori som oftast kommer i kontakt med krisdrabbade och då främst i deras akuta chockfas. Vårdpersonalens bemötande i dessa situationer har betydelse för att minska risken för framtida psykisk ohälsa hos krisdrabbade närstående.

This paper examines constructions of identities in Swedish news paper articles concerning the European Unions?s Tobacco Products Directive. Using critical discourse analysis (CDA) supported by theories of discourse, semiotics and identity formation, this paper argues that constructions of a Swedish ?Us? are distinguished from a non-Swedish ?Them?. These constructions depends on categories such as use of tobacco, science, history and war, which are frequently used in the discourse to separate ?Us?, ?the good? from ?Them?, ?the bad?.

        This is a report that describes the entire process of design of a measuring station for rolling resistance. The report is structured with elements of Fredy Olsson's method.The report also includes a brief presentation of HGF, the company that will manufacture the machine. Requirements and preferences are set up and used in a weighting of criteria by which product suggestions are based. Was the migration motive to reduce their environmental impact a part of the decision tomove, among migrants who had moved to housing with sustainability claims?? Speculative in the sense that it is speculating in how a future scenario with ?beyond smart? products would look like.

Key words: diagnoses, hypersexuality, medicalization, nymphomania, sexual addiction, sexual behavior, sexual compulsivity, sexual deviation, shame, social construction. Background: Sexual addiction has been given a dominant discoursive power in Sweden which (re)inforces the idea that sexuality is essentially a dangerous and lethal force. Methods: The thesis consists of two sub studies. Firstly, a critical discourse analysis is conducted over scientifical articles of sexual addiction and sexual compulsivity. Secondly, a critical discourse analysis of the concept of sexual addiction in newspapers in Sweden?s largest newspaper, DN, and an evening paper, Aftonbladet.

Denna uppsats handlar om en komparativ studie om hur soldater upplevde krig, med fokus påderas egna berättelser, det vill säga hur soldaterna uppfattade sin situation ur ett mycketpersonligt perspektiv. Objekten i denna studie är de amerikanska soldaterna som frivilligtsökte sig till kriget i Vietnam samt de frivilliga svenska soldaterna som under de förstamissionerna åkte till det pågående kriget i Bosnien. Syftet med uppsatsen är därmed attundersöka om de amerikanska och de svenska soldaterna hade liknande eller skildauppfattningar om de svårigheter som förekom genom att verka i en miljö som präglades avdöd, lidande och att hamna i plötsliga, livshotande situationer. Resultaten av undersökningenvisar, trots de olika typerna av konflikter, att det förekom skillnader och även likheter i deberättelser som skildrar synen på mod, rädsla, de inblandade parterna med mera.Undersökningen utgår från gjord forskning av de amerikanska soldaternas brevkorrespondens,vilket personligt och ingående skildrar deras situation. Gällande de svenska soldaternassituation i Bosnien så beskrivs den ur ett antal undersökningar (intervjuer) samt ur tvåbiografier, vilket ligger till grund för en jämförelse i denna undersökning..

I de allra flesta länder regleras redovisningen på ett eller annat sätt. Det finns dock ingenting som visar på vilket sätt som är mest lämpligt när det gäller att framföra en rättvisande bild av en verksamhets ekonomiska situation till dess intressenter. Om en situation är komplex vilket kännetecknas av svårigheter att få en helhetsbild av situationen och osäkerhet råder då situationen är svårhanterlig och riktlinjer, rekommendationer samt praxis saknas kan en rättvisande bild bli svårt att förmedla. Stadsomvandlingen av Kiruna är en komplex situation då främst för att det i Sverige aldrig hanterats en liknande situation men också på grund av att situationen bland annat berör många olika områden. En fallstudie där syfte är att beskriva och analysera utmaningarna inom kommunal redovisning i komplexa situationer genomfördes.

The individual educational plan (IEP) is a document used in Swedish schools. The purpose of the document is to help and support students who have difficulties in their schoolwork in various ways. In my experience, the student does not always understand the importance of establishing an IEP as a support and help at school. In this study I try to understand the students? experience of its relevance and purpose and the impact which can be achieved by an IEP.
