Objective: The objective of this thesis is to investigate how Scania has attained success to establish on the Indian market and to inquire into the establishment process of Scania and their entrance in the Indian market. The thesis describes different factors such as the product, mode of entry, time of entry and choice of market that play a role when a company establishes and invest in a foreign market.Method: This thesis is limited to the process of establishing Scania on the Indian truck market. A qualitative approach has being utilized in this study, consisting of interviews withStaffan Sjöström, development manager at the R&D department, Koen Knoops, vice president at Financial Services and Henrik Fagrenius, former managing director for Scania in India. Data collection from various journals and articles have been conducted for the presentation of the number of sold newly registered trucks in comparison to the number of sold newly registered trucks in India by Volvo, Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland during 2010, 2011, 2012 and the first three quarters of 2013.Theory: With a starting-point in empirism, we have used a theoretical frame of reference to describe Scania´s establishment process. Scania makes use of an internationalization strategy, namely Market Selection, Time of Entry and Entry mode and the network model, which describes the process of establishing on a foreign market as a business association with various players on the market.

The study can be seen as an attempt to highlight the possible learning in the leisure-time, formally or informally.The study is based on two group interviews with a total of 11 children and was conducted by an interview guide with question areas to be discussed freely so that the children could give as full an answer as possible.Main results of the study show that children feel that they are staying at the leisure-time to get care when their parents are working and that they primarily associate the leisure-time with playing. The results show however that children feel that they learn things when participating in the leisure-time teaches controlled activities.It is possible to draw conclusions about the child actually experienced the leisure-time as a learning environment, but it can be difficult to identify when and how learning actually occurs. Spel och simulatorer som skall avspegla existerande miljöer måste för spelaren vara trovärdiga vad gäller landskap, arkitektur, attribut och ljussättning. För att kunna bygga och implementera sådan realistiska och trovärdiga miljöer krävs ett grundligt förarbete med referensmaterial, skissarbete och tester. Under 10 veckor har jag gjort mitt examensarbete tillsammans med Försvarshögskolan och Data Ductus AB på ett projekt som vi kallar för Foreign Ground. Det har resulterat i en djupgående förstudie och research som ska bli en bra grund för att skapa en demonstrator till ett utbildningsspel. Spelet är tänkt att användas för träning av FN-soldater som är på väg till Liberia på utlandsmission.

To be allowed to sell Z-suspended vehicles with dipped beam Xenon or LED lighting, Scania have to develop automatic headlight level control. This master?s thesis aims to be the foundation to that development.The thesis consists of several parts; a market analysis of how competitors to Scania and the general vehicle industry solve this problem; several available principles for detecting the amount of control needed; the construction of a test station for sensors, a control unit and components connected controlled by the control unit; a further theoretical and practical development of one principle ? one rotational sensor connected between the chassis and the back drive axis; a state flow model programmed in Simulink that produces the control signal for the headlight leveling from the sensor input.Lastly the thesis gives some recommendations to the further development and implementation of automatic headlight level control on Scania vehicles..

An increasing global tourism offers great opportunities for Sweden as a tourist destination. However, an attractive destination requires competitive destination marketing strategies. Tourist destinations often include a complex network of stakeholders of small and large en-terprises that represent both the public and private sector. One condition for successful des-tination marketing is that all of these stakeholders collaborate in their marketing to create an integrated and powerful image. This essay deals with the issue how to define the concept successful school and what ingredients it includes. To aim this task I have interviewed four principals at upper secondary schools, two placed in community schools and the other two working for non-community schools. We have discussed how the principals define a successful school, whether they believe that the principal has a major part in contributing to the schools success or not and further if they think that schools have anything in common with private companies.The principals all agreed on what components they believe a successful school consists of, that is good school results from the pupils, a high comfort level for the pupils at school, professional management from the principal and a high level of young people who wants to attend the particular school.Further I have studied Swedish and foreign research in the area of successful schools and management in schools to get at good background in this matter..

In recent years it has become more common with corporations based on projects.

Inom Radiostyrd Bilsport tävlas det med ett antal olika klasser som drivs av 2-taktsförbränningsmotorer. Dessa blir mycket varma och måste kylas av. Det sker med hjälp av enkylfläns som är monterad ovanpå förbränningsrummet, och som kyls av fartvinden.HP Hobbyprodukter har frågat oss om vi kan hjälpa dem att ta fram en egen kylfläns åt dem.Eftersom det ofta förekommer ovarsam behandling i tävlingssammanhang, är det ett krav attkylflänsens ska tåla detta. Den måste även avleda värme från förbränningsrummet, motorblocketoch övriga motorkomponenter effektivt. Ett önskemål är att kylflänsen ska ha ett unikt utseende,så att den är lätt att känna igen ute på banan.Arbetet har inriktat sig på prototypnivå.

I detta examensarbete analyseras om elektroniska fastighetsköp är framtiden i Sverige. Analysen genomförs genom en komparativ studie av den svenska respektive den finska lagstiftningen för fastighetsköp, ansökan om lagfart och ansökan om inteckning. För att besvara den övergripande frågeställningen besvaras ett flertal delfrågor, däribland om formkravets syfte och ändamål uppnås om elektroniska fastighetsköp införs. I examensarbetet konstateras att nuvarande bestämmelser förvisso är fungerande, men att ett flertal positiva följder inträder om elektroniska fastighetsköp införs. Som exempel underlättas parternas upprättande av köpehandlingen.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att beskriva och analysera hur intäkter kan fördelas för delar som gemensamt används av produkter med olika varumärken, hur dessa intäkter bör fördelas samt de motiv som är orsaken till de valda metoderna för fördelning. Det empiriska materialet som presenteras i uppsatsen består av primärdata som samlats in genom intervjuer med respondenter från Saab Automobiles, Svenska Volkswagen AB och Volvo Car Corporation. Underlaget innefattar även sekundärdata som främst insamlats från fallföretagens hemsidor. Efter att ha genomfört studier med tre fallföretag besvarades problemformuleringarna. Uppmärksammas bör att resultaten inte är generaliserbara utan att de endast avser de medverkande fallföretagen.

Examensarbetet är utfört på Volvo Aero Corporation i Trollhättan, på divisionen Engine Services avdelning Affär, Teknik och Kundstöd. Enginge Services är ett av världens största underhålls- och servicecenter för flygmotorer och gasturbiner. De underhåll som utförs innefattar olika nivåer av service, allt från lättare detaljreparationer till kompletta motoröversyner. När offerter ska tas fram i samband med nya underhållskontrakt saknas idag ett verktyg för att analysera data från tidigare utförda arbeten och det upplevs som ett problem. Syftet med examensarbetet är att bygga en databas som ska användas i offertarbetet samt att studera vilken nytta databasen kan medföra.

The aim of this thesis is to map the current internal information flow at Volvo Uddevalla, to detect obstacles in the flow and to find out how these obstacles can be avoided. The aim is also to describe how a corporation, in this particular case Volvo Uddevalla, creates knowledge and use information. The study is performed in order to create a base for the coming implementation of a new information standard. The method used is conducting an information audit investigating the current management of documentation according to the changes that have to be made to carry out the claims from the standard. The investigation is made by way of interviews with 16 of the employees at Volvo Uddevalla.

This essay is about the representation of orthodox Christianity in Swedish educational material. With the help of my analytical approach inspired by Michel Foucault, I have studied material used in school for the subject Religion. I have limited the educational material in two ways. First, the main reason for this is that I am only interested in material written and produced from the year 2010 until today. Secondly, the material I have chosen to focus on is written for the grades 7-9 and for high school.
