Cuttings of Lonicera xylosteum L. were treated with willow extract to study the response in rooting capacity. The extracts were prepared by mixing chopped pieces of Salix x smithiana Willd. with water in a warring blender. The investigation comprised 2 types of salix extracts based on differences and dynamics between twigs in winter dormancy and twigs with new shoots.
To explore the rooting response, three tests were made.

The out-of-town retail establishments are part of the dramatic structural changes in the retailing of food and groceries. There are however strong indications suggesting these establishments result in negative externalities concerning areas such as pollution and urban environment. The purpose of this study is to describe and, from an economic perspective, analyse the Swedish political regulations and planning policies concerning the out-of-town supermarkets. The analysis establishes that the current regulations regarding out-of-town retailing do not, due to the occurrence of market failures, produce an optimal situation. It might therefore be necessary to change the planning policies in a more restrictive direction.

The purpose of this essay was to examine the packaging design´s communications related to the colloquially brand's symbolic capital and how they became meaningful through experience and perceptions that led to the identification processes in the consumer society. There were eight interviews of snuff users who became my main collections materials. My theoretical framework was discourse psychology´s emphasis on language and Bourdieu´s concept provided important tools in the analysis of the material.I could highlight that packaging design and the brand had influenced the informants and given them symbolic beliefs and what it meant to sniff a certain brand. Color, brand awareness and price were crucial in choosing where the informants attributed themselves the cans symbolic values to their identity. It could be inferred high and low status perceptions based on stereotypes in the design itself..

The fashion industry in Kenya is slowly growing. The middleclass is getting bigger and theinterest for fashion among these consumers is increasing. One major problem for the growthof the industry is the extensive second hand trade, which has given several problematicaffects. The textile production has almost disappeared, the western influences are evident andthe consumer?s price sensitivity is prominent.The aim of this thesis is, by conducting a field study; to qualitative examine how to develop astrong domestic fashion brand on the Kenyan market and to give a foundation for a brandingstrategy for people involved within fashion in Kenya.

This has been narrowed down into two questions: ?What are the pros and cons for a company that have a sale support system? and what are the pros and cons for a company that does not yet have a system?? AbstraktSyfte:Studiens syfte är att beskriva hur ett mätinstrument för att mätakonsumentbaserad brand equity ska utformas.Forskningsfråga:Vilka mätpunkter ska inkluderas vid mätning av konsumentbaserad brand equity?Metod:Då studien ämnar testa mätinstrumentet som skapats ur den befintliga litteraturen föllvalet på att genomföra en kvantitativ undersökning eftersom författarna avsågundersöka hur en stor mängd konsumenter uppfattar varumärken. För att samla in databad författarna 130 stycken respondenter delta i en enkätunderökning. Datananalyserades sedan i en faktoranalys.Slutsats:Efter genomförd faktoranalys kunde författarna behålla 9 stycken mätpunkter från detursprungliga 16 stycken mätpunkter. Utefter de nya mätpunkterna utformades ett nyttmätinstrument.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva sambandet mellan A nine test screening battery for athletes (NTSB) och prestationsparametrar för basketspelare i de svenska ungdomslandslagen.Studiedesignen var en tvärsnittsstudie där data från Svenska basketbollförbundets årligen utförda tester av kvinnliga och manliga ungdomslandslagsspelare i åldrarna 15-20 år analyserades. Totalt ingick 96 personer, varav 53 var kvinnor och 43 var män. Av dessa 96 personer deltog 49 vid europeiska mästerskapen (EM). Resultat Korrelationsberäkningar genomfördes mellan summascore på NTSB, NTSB:s enskilda tester och 10-20-30 m sprint, counter movement jump med armsving (CMJ(a) samt speltid vid EM. Total poäng på NTSB har i denna studie ett lågt samband mot prestationsparametrar.

Completed durability testing of gearshift gaiters at Kongsberg Automotive in Mullsjö, is sometimes leading to discussions regarding whether or not a gaiter is supposed to be a pass or a fail. That is because the current pass/fail-criterion are a bit vague. A durability test takes around 4-5 weeks to complete which is a long time if the tested material does not pass the test and a new material has to be tested instead. Stricter pass/fail-criterions and a faster testing method for the materials are therefore desired.In order to develop a durable pass/fail criteria, seven already judged gaiters were chosen. Every one of the gaiters was put through detailed analysis, after which there were a new assessment of the gaiters.

På ABB i Umeå programmeras styrsystem till bland annat tillverkningsindustrin och gruvbranschen. Varje styrsystem är unikt men vissa delar förekommer ofta, så för att inte programmerarna ska behöva skriva samma kod varje gång har det skapats funktionsblock av de kodbitarna. Funktionsblocken är samlade i olika funktionsblocksbibliotek. Biblioteken uppdateras med jämna mellanrum och alla funktionsblock behöver då testas så att inte ändringarna har påverkat de gamla funktionerna. Denna testning, som nu görs manuellt, tar mycket tid och är långt i från pålitlig.

Relationships between defence mechanisms and body movements were investigated in regard to three hypothesis; I. that a difference in frequency of body movements correlates to different signs of defence mechanisms, II. that themes of body movements can be identified in regard to signs of defence mechanisms, III. that no significant differences will be found between the different groups of gender. The aim of the study was to seek a relation between quasicommunicative body movements and defence mechanisms.

Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.
