Barns värld är på många sätt en helt annan värld än vuxnas. Tankarna och kommunikationen är på ettannat plan. Detta är något som alla som arbetar med barn, speciellt om man har ett yrke där man haren kommunikativ funktion, bör vara väl medvetna och kunniga inom. Smärta hos barn är ettproblemområde som på grund av skillnaderna mellan barn och vuxnas värld alltså blir svårhanterligtpå ytterligare ett plan. Ett möjligt sätt att minska procedursmärta hos barn som vi valt att undersökaär användningen av olika avledningsmetoder.

The aim of this study was to examine women shelters conditions as an organization and how these conditions affect their work with children who have experienced family violence and live in their shelters. In order to achieve a more profound and comprehensive view of the women shelters and their work with these children we selected to execute a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews with collaborators from nine different shelters in Sweden. We found that the women shelter as a non-governmental organization was bicameral and complex where their work with children distinguishes on several areas. We discovered that the women shelters were an organization, affected and formed by its environment. From our empiricism we could distinguish differences on a municipality level where collaborations with schools and social services occur in a resource guided hierarchy which influences the women shelters work with children.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att försöka belysa vad som motiverar elever i grundskolans senare år att gå till skolan. Undersökningen strävar också efter att få syn på om estetiska läroprocesser bidrar till elevernas motivation till att gå till skolan. Empirin har skaffats genom att jag har intervjuat åtta elever i grundskolans senare år. Litteratur som jag använt mig av behandlar tidigare forskning kring ämnena motivation, estetik i skolan och utvecklingspsykologi. Undersökningen visar att det som motiverar respondenterna att komma till skolan är bland annat att de känner att de vill vara närvarande för att lära sig nya kunskaper samt att få höga betyg.

Automobilpalatset i Jönköping, ritat av byggnadsingenjör Birger Lindström, uppfördes under åren 1929-1930 och var ett av de första parkeringshusen i Sverige. Förutom parkering fanns det utställningshallar och bilförsäljning, service och bensinstation-långt före bilismen var en del av folks vardag. Efter rivningshot byggnadsminnesmärktes huset år 2001.  Idag finns andra affärsverksamheter i gatuplan, resterande våningar står relativt tomma och mycket nedgånga. Automobilpalatset ägs av kommunen och det finns för närvarande ingen plan för förändring.  Jag vill i mitt förslag addera människan till Automobilpalatset. Stadsbilden och synen på bilen har förändrats sedan 1930.

VLL (Västerbottens läns landsting) genomför just nu en process där de ser över sina fastigheter på NUS (Norrlands Universitets Sjukhus) med fokus på dess framtida utveckling och behov. Ett steg i den processen är att undersöka sitt nuvarande fastighetsbestånd och se om det redan där finns utvecklingsmöjligheter innan det kan bli behov av att expandera området. Detta projekt ingår som en del i denna undersökning och innefattar en utredning av en eventuell påbyggnad av en byggnad med två parallella huskroppar 10A och 10B, som idag består av tre verksamma plan med en gemensam källare. Studien förutsätter att det är statiskt möjligt att bygga på de aktuella byggnadsdelarna. Därför är syftet med detta projekt främst att se om det är praktiskt möjligt att genomföra en påbyggnad med avseende på en intilliggande helikopterplatta, den pågående verksamheten och en fungerande APD-plan där fokus ligger på kranplacering.

This bachelor thesis delves into the role and impact of cultural dimensions, identity and leadership on post-merger acquisition in Sweden through an in-depth analysis of two companies that have undergone acquisitions or mergers. Using an abductive method, where theories are continuously adapted based on empirical data, qualitative information was gathered through semi-structured interviews with managers and employees from the two companies. The study aimed to gather well-founded insights on how corporate cultural dimensions, identity and leadership are experienced by individuals during the merger. By examining culture, leadership and identity in three different time phases of the integrationprocess, a comprehensive understanding of the integration process was achieved. The results of the study highlight that cultural factors such as leadership, culture, and identity play a central and crucial role in mergers and acquisitions. By considering and managing employees' and leaders' identities, organizations can create a sense of coherence and continuity despite changes.

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att undersöka hur några förskolechefer/rektorer respektive förskollärare resonerar kring naturvetenskap i förskolan avseende innehåll, syfte och arbetsmetoder, samt att därtill jämföra vilka teman som framkommit bland dessa båda yrkesgrupper. Detta mot bakgrund av att strävansmålen avseende naturvetenskap i förskolans läroplan har förtydligats i den reviderade Läroplan för förskolan (Skolverket 2010) liksom förskolechefens och förskollärarens ansvar för den pedagogiska verksamheten. Den yrkesmässiga relevansen med studien är att den förhoppningsvis ska kunna utgöra en utgångspunkt och kunskapskälla för vidare diskussion i förskolans verksamhet kring de förtydligade målen för naturvetenskap. Undersökningen bygger på en intervjustudie om fem respondenter per yrkeskategori. Resultatet visar att uppkomna teman ur respondenternas resonemang avseende innehåll, syfte och arbetssätt vid naturvetenskaplig verksamhet i förskolan på ett teoretiskt plan redan visar hög samstämmighet med förskolans reviderade styrdokument.

Foreign invested SMEs have recently become increasingly interested in China. The enterprises are in this report categorized as second wave companies since they follow the footsteps of previous pioneers, of which mostly were larger companies. The ambitions of the SMEs are either to sell products on the ever expanding Chinese market or to utilize the potential of low cost production for global markets. The existing literature is fragmented and solely based on the experience of larger companies. We believe that SMEs are facing new and different challenges, and thus a new generic theoretical frame work is desirable.

Bakgrunden till denna uppsats grundas i ett egenintresse i förvandlingen av stationshuset i Vara. Sedan jag genom mina föräldrar som bor kvar i orten, på tidig vår 2010 fick reda på att huset skulle bli korallrött har detta numer blåa konstverk retat mig. Detta kandidatarbete har gett mig möjligheten att på ett vetenskaplig sätt utröna bakomliggande orsaker till stationshusets förvandling till det Vara kallar, Sveriges största konstverk. Syftet med denna uppsats är att utreda hur den estetiskt tilltalande utformningen av byggnader vilka klassas som konstverk bör regleras enligt Plan- och Bygglagen och vilken roll kulturell planering spelar i den estetiskt tilltalande utformningen av den offentliga miljön. Genom två olika typer av fallstudier har tre olika konstverksprojekt studerats och analyserats utifrån inventeringar, observationer, intervjuer och innehållsanalys om bland annat begreppen byggnad, estetik och konstverk. Problematiken i lagtextens definition av vad som är estetiskt tilltalande beror mestadels på att det är ett mycket svårdefinierat begrepp till skillnad från vad en byggnad och ett konstverk är.

The purpose of this law-sociological study was to, on the basis of the District Court's decree to single custody, analyze the District Court?s comprehensive ideas and fall-oriented interpretations of the concept of the best interest of the child and the way they are constructed in connection with the District Court's application of the new law regulation of 6kap. 5§ FB regarding collaboration between parents. Our empirical data consisted of ten decrees to single custody. The decrees were examined and analyzed on the basis of social constructionism as a theory and the idea-analysis as the study's method.

Hand raising is a common method in schools and a way for students to engage in the classrooms turn-allocation (Andersson & Haglund 2006, p 35), but not all benefit from it. According to Dylan Wiliam (2011) hand raising divides the students by putting the students that participate in hand raising at an advantage versus the students that do not. This study aims to examine hand raising as a phenomenon and the students and teachers thoughts about hand raising. The main research questions were:How do the students perceive hand raising?How do the teachers reflect upon hand raising?How is hand raising usedas a tool by the students?The main reference to this study has been senior lecture Fritjof Sahlströms (1999) thesis Up the Hill Backwards.

Rapportens syfte är att arbeta fram förslag till en hållbar förnyelse av bostadsområdet Gulsparven i Trollhättan, på uppdrag av AB Eidar Trollhättans bostadsbolag. I dagsläget har området energirelaterade problem och är i behov av upprustning. För att komma fram till goda lösningar har litteratur- ochinformationsstudier, intervjuer med erfarna personer samt inventeringar av området gjorts. Förslagen åskådliggörs i form av ritningar samt 3D-vyer.Fyra förslag till förnyelse har tagits fram med olika grad av åtgärder, där två av dem kräver en omprövad detaljplan. Generella åtgärder, vilket gäller i samtliga förslag, är betydelsefulla lösningar för att växa mot rollen som ett hållbart bostadsområde.

The purpose of my work is to find out if and in which way dance in school teaching can contribute to a positive development of the pupil and also if the dance can give the pupil a better self-confidence. It?s important and useful to know, how dance will influence the pupil from a physical, psychological and social point of view.The study of litterature describes opinions and theories based on the issue and emanate from the three classifications applicable to the pupil development through dance: physically, psychologically and socially. With help of theories from different experts investigates, if a continuous dance teaching in the subject Athletics and Health can contribute to a positive development of the pupil these different aspects.As the empiric study I chose to interview pupils both from the ordinary comprehensive school classes and the aesthetical gymnasium line, in order to find out what they really think about dance and what they wish should be included of dance in the subject Athletics and Health.The interest of dance can be strongly connected to different music stiles, in this connection one can for sure get more pupils and especially boys to dare to try dance and through this improve their self-confidence.In my discussion and conclusion I bring up how important it is, that the pupil in dance get to learn how to work with it´s body as means of expression and the importance that the school gives priority to other than intellectual qualities and gives the pupil a chance to be able to develop and learn how to use it?s body language by dance.I also touch thoughts of future research..

This essay has examined how the local community is involved with the tourism development on the San Blas islands and how it effects the destinations development. The method of choice has been a qualitative interview with an operator that offers trips to the destination. Also there has been made a literature study where previous research about the San Blas and the subjects of choice is being presented. During the writing process of this essay it has become obvious to us that the local community (Kuna Yala) is very much involved in everything that concerns the destination. We can thereby establish that the local community of San Blas can be placed on the top step of Arnsteins (1969) ?Ladder of Participation?.

This essay set out to propose a problematic interpretation of the socio-cultural perspective on learning. Its purpose is to show how the socio-cultural perspective on learning defines the concept of knowledge in an incomplete way. The aim becomes then that of giving a more comprehensive description of this concept, and, to this end, to construct a new, broader pedagogic discourse. The investigation starts with a deconstructive analysis of Roger Säljö?s socio-cultural text in order to point out the incompleteness of the concept of knowledge.
