The purpose of this dissertation is to examine and present six different texts produced by the Sweden democrats. This examination focuses its attention on the content and the technique of the arguments present in the texts. In addition, the results will be put in relation to the steering documents for the Swedish school system. The aim is to observe common features regarding content and technique present in the texts. More specifi-cally, I will examine how the texts produced by the Sweden democrats pose a problem to the Swedish school system.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe in part the public library users?process when deciding which books to borrow. Focus is on the library users?experience of the process and how literature exposure can support them intheir choice of book. This study seeks to find out to what extent choices arespontaneously made at the library, which elements of exposure that the userfinds helpful in the process and which factors usually influence the user infinding new things to read.The data was gathered through 100 structured interviews with public libraryusers.

In recent decades, public relations and news management have become increasingly important in organizations? communication efforts. This thesis aims to show how the Kalmar municipality works with this type of strategic communication to build the Kalmar brand and how their communication efforts can be improved. The thesis is mainly based on theories concerning Public relations and News Management but also the medias impact on forming opinion. An important issue throughout the thesis is that all theories must be related to the fact that the study concerns an organization in the public sector and the obligations that comes with that fact.

NMD 100 is a notes and media dispensing machine, manufactured by De La Rue Ltd, located in Flen, Sweden. The customers, mainly bank offices, have expressed a need for a more comprehensive description of errors occurring from time to time in their machines. In order to acquire a BSc-degree in Computer and Electronics Technology at the University of Linköping I have carried out a diploma work, regarding new computer programs to fulfil the customers? wishes. Sufficient and accurate search support is a crucial factor for successful information searching on web sites. This thesis evaluates the search support on the second version of the web site studera.nu with particular focus on how the web site meets up to criteria formulated on the basis of theories from research in information seeking and information searching. The evaluation is a preliminary investigation that may serve as a basis for a future more comprehensive evaluation. The four major questions for my thesis have been: 1. Bakgrund: Inom de närmaste 5 åren planerar var fjärde småföretagare att dra sig tillbaka, detta innebär ungefär 60 000 företag eller 180 000 företag om även egenföretagarna räknas med. Detta beror på att 40-talisterna är en stor demografisk åldersgrupp och likt de yngre 60-och 70-talisterna har de inte sålt av sina bolag i samma utsträckning. Vad som händer med dessa bolag är osäkert, en del har en färdig plan för generationsskiftet andra är mer osäkra på vad som kommer att ske, omkring 10 procent av småföretagen väntas läggas ner, ytterligare 25 procent har ingen plan för hur ägarskiftet kommer att ske. För att belysa läget ännu mer så säger sig 42 procent av landets småföretagare att de har som avsikt att dra sig tillbaka inom 10 år (Företagarna, 2009). Detta ser inte alla som ett problem i sig utan det finns nu möjlighet att köpa sig ett företag istället för att starta eget.

In Scandinavia today many old harbour areas are developed into residential and commercial areas. For example are both Helsingborg city and Malmoe city in south Sweden planning to restructure some of their harbour areas to accommodate shops, schools, offices, residences et cetera. In Copenhagen in Denmark new plans for Nordhavn is also underway. In almost every plan proposal to redevelope an old harbour area the harbour activities are set a side to give room for new development. In Reykjavik, however, this has not been the case.

Telemedicine is the use of information and communication technology to provide clinical health care at a distance. This approach is usually adopted to bridge the distance in rural settings, but it is also a method to meet demographical and economical challenges. Västerbotten, a sparsely populated county with an ageing population, is in leading edge when it comes to telemedicine. The purpose of this report was to examine the diffusion and the inventory of telemedicine in the county council of Västerbotten from a geographical perspective. To gain a deeper understanding of diffusion and inventory of telemedicine, my purpose was also to examine these processes from an international and national perspective.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine if the Swedish policy of foreign affairs has been changed due to the Swedish enter as members in the European Union. The research method used for this essay has been a comparative case study between the Swedish and Norwegian declared policy of foreign affairs and it strives to answer the research question, which is if the Swedish declared policy of foreign affairs has been changed in character due to the Europeanization. The theoretical framework of this study consists of Europeanization as a comprehensive theoretical perspective. I order to answer the research question a classification schedule has been elaborated to examine the objectives of the Swedish and Norwegian declared policy of foreign affairs. The analytical method of this part has been a quantitative and qualitative approach.

Sammanfattning En bra grund är en grundläggande förutsättning för varje husbyggnation.  Den vanligaste grundläggningsmetoden är platta på mark som i sitt grundutförande kräver plant underlag. En konsekvens av rationaliserade byggmetoder har blivit att man vid grundläggning på berg spränger en plan yta att förlägga grunden på. Att spränga i berg skapar irreversibla skador. I Sotenäs kommun, en kommun belägen på Bohusläns kust, finns berg som genom sin särprägel blivit klassade som riksintresse enligt Miljöbalken. En tradition i Bohuslän är att anpassa bebyggelsen efter naturens förutsättningar, vilket bland annat resulterat i grunder byggda efter bergets formationer.

Detta examensarbete vill beskriva de nya förutsättningar för att behandla vindkraftsetablering i tematiska tillägg till översiktsplaner, som uppstått i och med att prövningen av vindkraftsverk 2009 till stor del förts över från plan- och bygglagen till miljöbalken. Examensarbetet omfattar också ett förslag till tema-tiskt tillägg till Motala kommuns översiktsplan. Där prövas en analys av hur estetiska och landskapsrelaterade bedömningar kan göras. Fokus har lagts vid hur bedömningar kommer att hanteras när vindkraftverk som bygglovbefrias enbart genomgår en tillståndsprövning. Reflektioner och slutsatser bygger på egna tankar från utarbetandet av det tematiska tillägget och erfarenheter av efterföljande arbete inom Motala kommun med att omvandla planförslaget till en kommunal produkt Dessutom har intervjuer gjorts med representanter från kommunens stadsbyggnadsenhet, bygglovenhet och från länsstyrelsen.

The parental education groups are an activity that attracts the majority of all couples that awaits their first child. Therefore this is a forum with strong influence on the formulation of the parenting. The aim of the study was to examine how parental education within Swedish child health care, affects the construction and shaping of parenthood. We have also studied this from a gender perspective. The starting point for our understanding of parenting is that it is socially constructed.

When the local authorities establish a plan for land use planning, they have to judge if the influence on the environment could be of such a grade that they have to make a special Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), following national laws and EU-directives. The laws for the process in Sweden is set by the Swedish Parliament, with advisory given by the central government authority, the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, Boverket. For EU, the laws is set by the European Parliament and the Council. The laws and directions for this process have been changed for Sweden in recent years, and the aim of this study was to compare the contents of three different Environmental Impact Assess¬ments to see if there has been any change in appearances and content in later years, as well as to see if different municipalities and authors have effect on the EIAs. According to different studies some of the EIA done are without insufficient focus on main environmental issues in the EIA, or even that some information is missing.
