The object of this study is the female user of amphetamines and the characteristica which she is often described by. Many of these descriptions regard the female amphetamine user's sexuality which also have come to form the assumption that these women make a living from having sexual relations with men in exchange of drugs.In order to be able to draw any kind of conclusions regarding this, we found it necessary to investigate how the stereotypical female user of amphetamines makes a living and also whether it is possible for a female drug user to decide for her self how to support her habit.The disposition is a qualitative study of literature and the perspectives that we focused on in this study are gender roles, relationships and sexuality, criminality and finally the drug using woman as a victim. The theories used deal with social constructivism, respectability and shame.The main discussion of our study has been how women amphetamine users are moulded to become victims through interaction with other people but also with the society as a whole..

In this modern period, societal and religious groups are strongly divided regarding the acceptability of abortion. Despite so many attempts by various groups to find a middle ground, the debate on abortion still remains largely polarized, at its most dramatic point with the extreme conservatives claiming abortion to be the moral equivalent of murder and the extreme liberals see it as devoid of moral import. And this polarization is due to the legal battle that continues to shadow moral discussions. An acceptance of an ethical nuance will here play as a concession on the deeply contested question of whether abortion should be a legally protected option for a woman, and to an extent blame for the continued crudeness which can be laid at the doorstep of a moral theory itself. Apparently, the ethical literature on abortion has focused almost exclusively on the tiniest moral assessment on whether and when abortion is morally permissible.

In recent decades, mental illness has increased in Sweden, and in parallel to this there has been an increase in unemployment. This implies that it is harder for people who have been away from employment for long periods due to ill health to return to work. The purpose of this study was to examine the work situation of people with mental illness who had undergone prevocational training, and to identify psychosocial factors relevant to their current work ability. The aim was also to describe how those who had undergone prevocational training perceived that it had affected their work ability. The study involved 19 participants who were interviewed and assessed with the Worker Role Interview, and an open question was asked about how they perceived that the prevocational training had affected their current work ability.

Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva hur chefer upplever sina arbetsplatsers behov av företagshälsovård, samt att utifrån detta försöka svara på om arbetsterapeuter kan möta dessa behov. Metod: En kvalitativ induktiv ansats antogs med öppna intervjuer. Fem chefer rekryterades genom ett avsiktligt typiskt urval via kontakter från en företagshälsovård i Jönköping. The aim with this study is to achieve an increased understanding and knowledge about terrorist groups. The factors that the study come to be focused around is the groups' objectives, their organization, which enemies they have and with which means that they use for there terrorism. In order to respond to this aim the four different terrorist groups, Colombian revolutionary armed forces (FARC), Baskien - our native country and our freedom (ETA), red Army fraction (RAF) and al Qaida is studied.To achieve the aim of this study the methods qualitative text analysis and comparative method is being used. It is designed also within the framework of this study a categorization model that is used as method in order to do a division of the studied groups based on their objective, enemies, organization and means. This study examines four short stories- ?Gudarnes like?, ?Vänner?, ?Lolo? and ?Kvinnor? - in a novel called Upptäckter written by Ulla Bjerne in 1918. My aim has been to study whether Bjerne in these stories writes from a New Woman- position. The New Woman novel as a genre flourished around the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. I have also studied whether Bjerne in these short stories uses a melodramatic style.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. One type of treatment is internal radiation therapy, brachytherapy. This treatment requires the patient to lie completely motionless and in lithotomy position. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of pressure ulcers associated with brachytherapy in prostate cancer at the UniversityHospitalin Uppsala. Furthermore, the purpose was to identify the most common location of pressure ulcer and to examine whether there were any connection between risk factors and possible pressure ulcers.

In my degree project I have focused on how to make it easier for ambulance personnel to remove a motorcycle helmet after an accident. During my research I have interviewed ambulance personnel from different cities and a trauma surgeon to get a better understanding of how they work today and the problems they experience. Some of the problem areas are that you need a lot of force to remove the helmet, that the padding catches the ears and that the chin guard catches the face. Since ambulance personnel always assume that there is a neck injury after an accident, all these problems make it difficult to remove the helmet safely.The result is a motorcycle helmet with a focus on safe removal after an accident, to reduce the risk of worsening a neck injury. The solution suggested is that a small part of the back of the helmet is detachable, to make the opening larger.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva de erfarenheter som arbetsterapeuter och långvarigt sjuka klienter har av kreativa aktiviteter som intervention inom arbetsterapi. En deskriptiv kvalitativ metod valdes för att besvara syftet. Data samlades in via semistrukturerade intervjuer med arbetsterapeuter samt genom en skriftlig frågeställning till klienter. Utifrån en latent innehållsanalys analyserades insamlad data vilket resulterade i ett övergripande tema, ?Kreativa aktiviteter används som ett medel och ett mål inom arbetsterapi? samt tre kategorier, ?Ett medel som är avledande och underlättar samtal med klienten?, ?Ett medel att observera och träna klienters funktionsförmåga?, samt ?Ett medel att hitta strategier som kan överföras till vardagliga aktiviteter?.

This report describes the construction and development of a control box, which is a tool for testing and verifying a certain model of Rapid?s built in staplers (model A6102). Basically the function of the control box is to interpret any errors that may occur in the stapler and to make it possible to test fire the stapler.The control box should be able to communicate with the stapler using a specialized communication protocol. The different data such as errors, firmware etc. from the stapler is presented in plain language on a display.

Bakgrund: Vårdpersonal kan hjälpa patienter skapa motivation inför en beteendeförändring med motiverande samtal (motivational interviewing, MI). MI är en form av vägledning som hjälper patienter framkalla egna argument för en förändring. MI främjar även samarbetet mellan vårdpersonal och patient.Syfte: Att undersöka sjukgymnasters upplevelser av MI vid patientmöten. Metod: Fyra sjukgymnaster som ansåg sig arbeta med MI intervjuades i en semistrukturerad intervju. Intervjumaterialet bearbetades sedan genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med en induktiv ansats.Resultat: Sjukgymnasterna hade övervägande positiva upplevelser av MI och upplevde att MI är bra då patienter ska genomgå en beteendeförändring. Sjukgymnasterna upplevde också att de får en bättre bild av patientens situation och ett bättre samarbete med patienten med hjälp av MI.

Uppsatsen är en studie av Funktionell Familjeterapi (FFT). Syftet var att undersöka om en FFT-behandling innebar en förändring för en ungdom och dennes föräldrar avseende deras beskrivning av familjeklimatet och dyaderna inom familjen. Målgruppen utgjordes av 29 familjer som under åren 2011-2013 avslutat en FFT-behandling på Ungdomscentrum, Uppsala kommun. Familjerna hade fyllt i självskattningsformulären Frågor om Familjemedlemmar och Familjeklimat före och efter behandlingen. Resultatet visade ett flertal statistiskt signifikanta skillnader vilket stämde överens med tidigare forskning av modellen, både internationellt och nationellt.

In the year of 2001, China launched their new international marketing strategy Going Global. As an effect of this, the frequency of Chinese establishments in Sweden has increased heavily in the last ten years. One of the larger Chinese establishments in Sweden happened in 2003, by the telecom company Huawei. This essay illustrates the obstacles that a Chinese company faces when setting up their business on the Swedish market. Previous studies have focused on Swedish establishment abroad.

Bakgrund: Äldre på boende idag kan känna att de saknar sociala interaktioner med vårdpersonal, familj eller vänner. För att uppleva god livskvalitet krävs bland annat trygghet, sociala interaktioner och aktiviteter. Djur kan användas som behandlingsmetod i vården i form av Animal-Assisted Activity (AAA) och Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT). Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa sällskapsdjurs betydelse för äldres livskvalitet på äldreboende. Metod: Studien har genomförts som en allmän litteraturstudie.

Hypertoni är en folksjukdom och en riskfaktor för hjärt-kärlsjukdom. Effektiva behandlingsmetoder finns men brist på följsamhet till behandlingsregimer vid hypertoni är ett stort problem, som utgör en risk för patienters hälsa. Bättre kunskap om vad som kan påverka patienternas följsamhet till hypertonibehandling är därmed av stor betydelse för sjuksköterskans hälsofrämjande arbete. Syftet med studien var att undersöka faktorer som påverkar patienters följsamhet till behandling vid hypertoni. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie.
