The focus group sessions were made during February, March and April 2012.Main results The main findings in this study are that users expect the communication flow in social network sites (SNS) during a crisis is to be a shortcut to information without a detour through organizations or traditional media. Although we find personal gratification, like interpersonal communication, quick information and sharing feelings and experience with others by using SNS during a crisis, users also tend to be hesitant about the credibility of the shared information. Alongside the user created content, we look to professional media experts and organizations as a guarantee for the veracity of the shared information.

AbstractThe purpose with the study is to contribute knowledge of teacher?s thoughts of, and actions in potentially stress filled situations at preschool. The methods I?ve been using are qualitative interviews and unstructured observations of hallway situation at dressing and the transit between lunch and rest.At the interviews with the teachers it showed that none of them feels stressed but there are stress filled situations. The lunch and transit between lunch and rest is a stressful situation, where there is a lot to do, like the dishes, the teachers break and the lie-down.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka eventuella samband mellan upplevd stress på arbetsplatsen och socialt stöd i privatlivet bland yrkesaktiva sjuksköterskor. Även eventuella samband mellan stress, energi, ålder och socialt stöd på arbetet undersöktes.Datainsamling skedde genom enkätundersökning bland de anställda sjuksköterskorna på två olika avdelningar på ett sjukhus. Enkäten utformades i sin helhet av olika delar från redan existerande frågeformulär och innehöll tre olika delar; stress/energi, socialt stöd på arbetsplatsen och socialt stöd i privatlivet. Totalt bearbetades 48 enkäter.Inget samband mellan socialt stöd i privatlivet och stress kunde påvisas. En positiv korrelation mellan energi och socialt stöd privat, samt en negativ korrelation mellan ålder och stress kunde påvisas.

AbstractThe dynamic environment means that organizations always faces new challenges. There are various factors which could affect the process of change thus the purpose of this investigation is to research into the key values of organizational changes. We have done an in-depth research about a planned and ongoing process of change in the organization HEM. The aim is to investigate how knowledge and learning are spread among the staff in the company before and during changes. Also further investigation has been made to study the communication between management and employees through the changes. This report includes seven individuals with different working positions within the organization.

This project investigated the current market regarding wireless net and the communication between the tools used for diagnostics/maintenance and an embedded system. Based on documentation obtained through interviews a demo system was created based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication between an embedded system and an Android device.This report intends to describe the tools and methods used in the design of the demo system and the result of an analysis of the BLE communication.Bluetooth Low Energy is an exciting protocol with wide applicability within the industrial field. Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att undersöka om det förekommer stress bland barnen i förskolan, hur den i så fall yttrar sig samt hur personalen vid förskolorna jobbar för att motverka eventuell stress bland barnen. Muntliga intervjuer användes som undersöknings metod med diktafon som hjälpmedel. Åtta förskollärare har blivit intervjuade och intervjuerna har utförts i två olika kommuner. Resultatet visade att det förekommer många olika tecken på stress bland barnen och att både pedagoger och föräldrar till stor del bidrar till stressen..

Communication during the process of Environmental Impact Assessment: Interviews concerning three infrastructure projects Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a method to describe the possible impact of a planned project. The aim of such an assessment is to aid a sustainable development, by supplying a comprehensive basis for decision-making. Today there are many people working with EIA in different forms, representing both different interests within the community, as well as having different individual points of view. The proponent is responsible for the EIA, but it is of interest to study the relationship between the different participants who are involved in this process. The aim of this report is to study how the different disciplines involved have communicated with each other and amongst themselves, what characterises good communication, and if anything should be improved.

I en statistisk rapport om arbetsorsakade besvär framkom att 14,3% av de tillfrågade kvinnliga sjuksköterskorna upplevt besvär på grund av psykiska påfrestningar och stress de senaste 12 månaderna. Samma siffra för alla kvinnor som svarat inom samtliga yrken var 12,0%. Då var det viktigt att sjuksköterskan hade metoder och verktyg som skyddade henne eller honom från att drabbas av återkommande påfrestningar, för svåra att klara av. Om dessa metoder eller verktyg inte skulle fungera kunde situationer som hon eller han utsatts för skapa skuldkänslor, irritation och sömnsvårigheter. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa hur sjuksköterskans stress kunde påverka vården av patienten och vad som kunde göras för att förebygga stressen.

Bakgrund: Kommunikation med patienter som vårdas med respirator är en stor del av omvårdnaden för intensivvårdssjuksköterskan. Otillräcklig kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient kan leda till otrygghet och stress hos patienten. Syfte: Studiens syfte är att beskriva hur intensivvårdssjuksköterskor kommunicerar med patienter som vårdas med respirator, vilka möjligheter och hinder som finns samt om sjuksköterskans erfarenhet har betydelse.Metod: En kvantitativ ansats valdes och data till pilotstudien insamlades med hjälp av en enkät. Resultat: Sjuksköterskorna i studien ansåg inte att det är svårt att kommunicera med patienter som vårdas med respirator. Större delen av sjuksköterskorna använde sig av kroppsspråk, ögonkontakt och beröring som kommunikationsmetoder.

The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject.    I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Through ?assessment for learning? we can help the students to improve their self-assessment and understanding of the learning process.

Arbetsplatsens inflytande över den stressrelaterade ohälsan kan ses genom samband mellan upplevelser av ett stressfullt arbete och stressymptom, mellan utvecklingen av stressymptom och sjukfrånvaro samt mellan graden av sysselsättning och den stressrelaterade ohälsan. Stress definieras som obalans mellan krav och individens förmåga att hantera dem och uppstår av samma anledningar i arbetslivet. Socialt stöd ifrån kollegor är en av de viktigaste resurserna för att hantera stress på arbetsplatsen. Syftet med kandidatuppsatsen är att förstå vilken betydelse sociala relationer har för deltagare i ett nätverk av verksamhetsansvariga för deras förmåga att hantera stress.För att besvara syftet genomfördes fem semistrukturerade intervjuer via Skype. Intervjuerna spelades in och transkriberades för att sedan analyseras via en innehållsanalys och tolkas.Studiens huvudresultat tyder på att relationerna inom nätverket bidrar till upplevelser av resurser som kan förhindra att stress uppstår samt påverkar hur de verksamhetsansvarigas förmåga att hantera stress..

This report is the result of a diploma work made at IMT at US in Linköping. The purpose of this piece of work is to investigate the possibility to design a general program for data-acquisition using LabVIEW, suiting different hardwares and connections. Great importance has been attached to communication with serialport, using bluetooth, because different wireless PPG-instruments has been developed parallel to this project. These PPG-circuits uses this type of serialcommunication. Communication with USB, GPIB and analog connection has also been examined and analog communication has been tested practically.

Stress är ett ämne som är aktuellt. Vi har valt belysa ämnet ur elevernas och pedagogernas synvinkel. Vi vill undersöka hur stress påverkar elevernas lärande i skolan och hur vi som pedagoger kan förebygga detta. Uppsatsen innehåller fakta om tidigare forskning, bidragande orsaker och förebyggande arbete. Metoden vi har använt oss av i litteraturdelen är facklitteratur och forskning inom området.

A central question is what view of communication is dominating in a municipality in the southern part of Sweden. The study deals with communication theory from two different perspectives; the view of transmission and the view of creation of meaning. Falkheimer and Heide (2003) claim that the view of transmission is one-way communication where the receivers apprehend passivly. In the view of creation of meaning the goal is to develop and strengthen the common notion that exists in a group. Empirical studies were done, that consisted of qualitative interviews with politicians, directors of the municipality, and principals from three childcare and school areas, and also from one upper secondary school.
