FLUTD - Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease ? is a complex disease and a common sight in the veterinary setting. Although FLUTD excluding urethral obstruction may be discomforting for the cat and its owner due to symptoms such as periuria, stranguria, hematuria, dysuria and pollakiuria, obstruction presents an acute and potentially lethal form of the disease as a result of uremia and disturbances in fluids, electrolytes and acid-base balances. A study of literature has been performed to investigate the causes of FLUTD with urethral obstruction and the actions available to the owner to avert them. Potential causes of obstructive and non-obstructive FLUTD have been found to include infections, uroliths, urethral plugs, neoplasia, anatomic abnormalities, trauma, neurogenic or iatrogenic causes. Most commonly a cause cannot be identified and the terms idiopathic FLUTD or feline idiopathic cystitis are used. As the mortality rate due to urethral obstruction likely is somewhere around 5.8-8.9% and FLUTD including and excluding urethral obstruction constitute great inconveniences, precautionary measures are warranted.

I Sverige ska revisorn granska såväl bolagets årsredovisning och bokföring som styrelsens och verkställande direktörens förvaltning. Det lagstadgade kravet att granska förvaltningen av bolaget återfinns inte i något annat land, med undantag av Finland. Vilken innebörd förvaltningsrevisionen har är dock inte tydligt definierad i lagen och frågan är även huruvida den svenska förvaltningsrevisionen har någon framtid i den alltmer internationaliserade värld som revisorn arbetar i.SyfteUppsatsens syfte är att beskriva och analysera den svenskaförvaltningsrevisionens innebörd, de historiska orsakerna till varförförvaltningsrevisionen ser ut som den gör idag samt utreda vilken framtid den går till mötes. Inom ramen för syftet kommer följande frågor att besvaras:· Vilka är de historiska orsakerna inom revisionsområdet till varför det idag hör till den svenska revisorns uppgifter att granska företagets förvaltning och vilken innebörd har förvaltningsrevisionen?· Hur kan EU:s harmoniseringsarbete inom såväl revisions- som corporate governance-området komma att påverka den svenska förvaltningsrevisionens framtid?GenomförandeStudien har genomförts med hjälp av 10 stycken expertintervjuer med såväl svenska som utländska respondenter, samt en enkätundersökning utskickad till 73 stycken godkända eller auktoriserade revisorer i Linköping och Stockholm.ResultatDen svenska förvaltningsrevisionen har en stark tradition och har formats genom ett antal tydliga ställningstaganden, där Sverige exempelvis har tagit avstånd från införandet av ytterligare ett kontrollorgan i corporate governance-strukturen.

The purpose of this essay is to explore the significance for former drug addicts who, during their treatment against drug abuse, have had a therapist with a drug addiction in his or her past. A qualitative case study has been used as method in which four former drug users have been interviewed. We have compiled the results based on five key themes in order to get a comprehensive picture of the relevance of common experiences regarding drug abuse, based on former addicts? experiences. This has been done in connection with a review of different theoretical perspectives that we have found relevant to the investigation. Our findings have then been compared with previous research in the field.

The study´s purpose is to identify how their communication affects their brand. The study will be made trough the perspective image, the values and associations which the target audience have about the County Council. The study has two question formulations: Which parts in the County Council's communication affect their brand? How does the residents in Värmland's image about County Council's look like? The study is based in Balmers 6C's of Corporate Marketing. There´s also some organizational communication added  to the study.The two methods has been used in the study, qantitative survey's and qualitative interviews.

The aim of this study is to examine how one can understand the experiences that social workers within the social service's have of children who have committed sexual assault against other children, and the social workers? thoughts about the choice of actions and the family involvement in those actions. The study has a qualitative character. Information was obtained through interviews with social workers within two Swedish counties, and the analysis of the results was based on earlier research findings as well as theoretical aspects, such as systemic theory and salutogenesis.Regarding the actions taken for the target group, the social workers have, in many ways, a systemic perspective as they emphasize elements within the child as well as within the family. It is also shown that the collaboration with other authorities affects the choice of actions, and that it is important to involve the entire family in any interventions, so that the effect of those interventions may last over time.

The material is thereafter analyzed and discussed in the following chapter, with the theoretical base in mind.Conclusion: The usage of venture capital within the Swedish film industry is relatively low today. Non-monetary values are the primary reason to invest in the Swedish film industry today. A significant risk diversification, together with knowledge dispersion needs to be made in order to make the Swedish film industry more attractive to investors.

Background: Companies often invest in foreign subsidiaries and that gives rise to translation exposure. Translation exposure arises with the consolidation of the foreign subsidiary and depends on the rate of exchange that are used for translation of the foreign subsidiary. Stroke is one of the most common diseases in Sweden and the third most common cause of death (National guidelines concerning stroke, 2000). Dysphagia is a common problem for stroke patients with almost 50 percent of patients suffering from severe swallowing dysfunction (Axelsson, Asplund, Norberg & Eriksson, 1989). The purpose of this study was to investigate how stroke patients with dysphagia experience their swallowing disorders. The method used was a qualitative literature study. An analysis of content was carried out using ideas and inspiration from Graneheim and Lundman (2003).
