AbstractTo take the role of another is an important and a central part of human interaction. When we take the role of another we not only learn about them but also we learn about ourselves and how we interact with other people.  Social work in this form, working with directly with families in crises, is much about understanding other people?s perspective and feelings. It is important to know the strategy of one?s work and which perspective to work from.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om trafiksäkerhet och, mer specifikt, den mänskliga faktorns inverkan vid olyckor och incidenter. Arbetet är skrivet inom FICA- projeketet, vars målsättning är att förstå förarbeteende för att kunna utveckla aktiv säkerhetsteknologi för fordon. I första delen (kapitel 2?6) presenteras ett teoretiskt ramverk för att förstå förarbeteende i olika kontexter. I andra delen (kapitel 7?8) redovisas en metod för att analysera olycks- och incidentförlopp, kallad DREAM ? Driving Reliability and Error Analysis Method.

Abstrakt Denna studie undersöker RSI indikatorn, och dennas förmåga att skapa en bättre avkastning än en Buy and Hold strategi. Studien har baserats på 27 olika aktier noterade på OMX Stockholm 30, 2006-12-29, under en tidsperiod om 7 år, 2000-01-03 till 2006-12-29. Genom att beräkna medelvärdet per 14 dagar för kursuppgångar respektive kursnedgångar har 14 dagars RSI beräknats. Därefter har köp- respektive säljsignaler beräknats genom om-funktioner i Excel. RSI strategin innebär att position tas på första köpsignal och säljs på nästkommande säljsignal under tidsperioden.

Ett generellt antagande i de flesta finansiella teorier handlar om att människor är rationella och riskaverta. En investerare bör därför diversifiera sin portfölj till att även inkludera tillgångar på den internationella finansiella marknaden. Detta innebär att dagens svenska investerare behöver läsa finansiell information på ett andraspråk, vanligtvis på engelska. Då tidigare studier inom beteendefinansiering visar på samband mellan språk och finansiella beslut, syftar den aktuella studien till att undersöka huruvida individers riskpreferenser vid beslutsfattande påverkas av om information läses på svenska (modersmål för svenska investerare) respektive engelska (andraspråk). Detta sker genom en enkätundersökning bland anställda på fyra svenska banker.

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Bakgrund: Kommunikation, informationsflöden samt individuella uppfattningar är några av de psykologiska förhållanden som påverkar beslutsfattanden. Småföretagare upplever en hård kreditmarknad med krav på höga säkerheter och bankerna är medvetna om att de stramat åt kreditgivningen på grund av konjunkturläget. Handelsbanken och SEB är två storbanker som funnits länge på marknaden och båda har fått utmärkelser för att vara framstående banker för småföretagare.Syfte: Att studera lånesituationen för småföretagare genom att angripa de psykologiska aspekter som kan vara av avgörande betydelse utöver hårda värden vid en kreditgivningsprocess.Metod: Genom en deduktiv ansats har semistrukturerade frågor ställts i kvalitativa intervjuer med två storbanker och tre småföretagare i olika branscher i Stockholm stad.Teorier: Behavioral Finance, Asymmetrisk information, Perception, Agentteorin, Imageteorin och Beslutstilsmodellen.Slutsatser: I kreditgivningsprocessen krävs en kombination av hårda och mjuka värden för att kunna fatta beslut på ett rättfärdigt sätt. Det fastställs att psykologiska faktorer såsom god kommunikation minskar det asymmetriska informationsflödet och ligger till grund för relationen mellan lånehandläggare och småföretagare..

Utbildning och erfarenhetsutbyte inom franchise är ett lagstadgat krav och nyckelfaktorer för en fungerande och framgångsrik franchiseverksamhet. Franchisegivare försöker därför ständigt förbättra utbildningen och erfarenhetsutbytet och frågan är om e-learning kan vara ett lämpligt verktyg för detta. Denna uppsats syfte är att undersöka möjligheten att komplettera utbildningen av franchisetagare och erfarenhetsutbytet mellan franchisegivare och franchisetagare med e-learning. Vidare att presentera en rekommendation för den mest lämpliga e-learningplattformen. För att uppfylla syftet valde vi att kartlägga hur utbildningen och erfarenhetsutbytet går till idag och vilken kunskap som förmedlas, intresset för att komplettera dessa aktiviteter med e-learning samt vilken e-learningplattform som är lämplig för detta.

Domestication has resulted in the ability for animals to adapt to environments created by the human over time. The behavior differs very little between wild and domesticated animals, but the difference seen is how often and to what degree a behavior is performed. The need for efficiency in modern animal production has led to welfare problems in the productionsystems where the animals have difficulties coping with their environment. Attempts to environmentally adapt individuals by selection for reduced frequency of natural behaviours have been made. These have shown that natural behaviours are complex and are controlled by several different mechanisms, making selection for reduced natural behavior difficult, and it may also lead to unwanted and abnormal behaviours.

The main purpose of this study is to find out what kind of help social service in one selected municipality in Sweden can provide for children who have witnessed or been victims of domestic violence. Using focus group interview this study investigate how the social workers meet the needs of these children. The bases for our analysis are the Organization Theory and the Attachment Theory, as well as previous research. Important results are that the social services are dependent on notifications in order to do their work and that the most common interventions are foster care, emergency foster care and/or family therapy. The difficulties that social workers perceive their work are unjustified families and heavy workloads.

The purpose of the study was to review the current veterinary literature regarding gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV) considering pathophysiology and treatment, and to evaluate the operative technique (incisional gastropexy) used during the years 2005 and 2006 at the University Animal Hospital (Universitetsdjursjukhuset), SLU, Uppsala, Sweden. GDV has a complicated pathophysiology which foremost effects the circulatory system. Progress is often acute and it is not unusual that patients are affected with shock. The initial treatment targets to alleviate the shock by fluid therapy and decompression of the stomach. There is a high risk of recurrence in the long term perspective unless the stomach is surgically fixated by gastropexy. The study describes two different techniques for gastropexy; incisional gastropexy, and funduspexy. Long term complications were rare among the patients that were treated surgically, while about half out of the eighteen dogs that undergo surgery do experience complications of various severity in the short term..

This is a study about the communication interaction in the context of the reference work at some public university-libraries and some private company libraries in Gothenburg and Borås. The primary purpose of the study is to investigate the communication interaction in a library situation. The second purpose is to deepen the knowledge, understanding and to establish what is important in this communication. Focus has been on how the intermediaries communicate and how she or he perceives this communication. The intermediary needs to manage the communication with all the different patrons and different information needs of the patrons.

Studien är en kvalitativ intervjustudie som genomfördes i samarbete med Scania CV AB. Syftet är att kartlägga hur man resonerar kring begreppet säkerhet i förhållande till Organizational Behavioral Management (OBM). Studien presenterar OBMs beteendeanalys ABC-modellen för att beskriva hur ett beteende kan aktiveras samt vilka konsekvenser det har. Den avser även att introducera DCOM och Beteendebaserad säkerhet (BBS) som kompletterande verktyg att arbeta med. Målgruppen i studien är truckförare på Chassi.

The present study deals with the importance of play for children's learning in preschool. The purpose is to investigate the importance of play for children's learning in preschool from a pedagogue?s perspective. The study is based on two issues: How does the pedagogue´s who were interviewed reason about the impact the play has on children's development? How does the pedagogue´s approach to make play a learning situation? The empirical data is based on semi-structured interviews with four preschool pedagogue´s.

Mobbning kan leda till psykiska svårigheter och försämrat självförtroende för offren och på lång sikt ett antisocialt och kriminellt beteende hos mobbarna. Syftet med examensarbetet är att utifrån Olweus (1973: 1991) forskning och åtgärdsprogram mot mobbning undersöka lärares attityder mot mobbning och antimobbningsprogram. De frågeställningar som tas upp handlar om mobbningens karaktärsdrag, hur lärarna ställer sig till antimobbningsprogram, om lärarna vet hur de ska agera vid en mobbningssituation och mobbning på den egna skolan. Det fanns även frågeställningar angående vilka attityder lärarna har till att ingripa mot mobbning, ha föräldrakontakt, utforma klassregler mot mobbning, diskutera mobbning under klassrådet och ha enskilda samtal med mobbarna och mobbningsoffren samt vilket samband det finns mellan ?behavioral beliefs?, attityd till beteendet, subjektiv norm, upplevd beteendekontroll, intention och beteende.
