Patienters upplevelser av kvaliteten inom slutenvård och förslag på förbättringar
Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka vad patienterna har för upplevelser av sjukvården, samt vilka förbättringar de föreslår.Metod: Undersökningsgruppen bestod av 50 patienter som svarat på de öppna frågorna i en nationell patientenkät. Svaren analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Analysen av materialet resulterade i fem kategorier och elva underkategorier. De fem kategorierna bestod av: bemötande, sjukhusmaten, vårdmiljön under sjukhusvistelsen, in- och utskrivning samt väntetider under vårdtiden och samarbete mellan professioner. Patienter som vårdades inom slutenvården ansåg att det bemötande de erhöll i huvudsak varit gott, men att det förekom vissa negativa attityder som bör förändras till det bättre. Förbättringar av måltider och sjukhusmiljön önskades, dessa områden upplevdes otillfredsställande.
Unga sexuella förövare : En studie om den professionella rollen i behandling
The purpose of this study is to examine what professionals tell about stress, rewards, impact and treatment in the professional treatment with young sexual offenders. Eleven qualitative interviews of half-structured design brought up results about the professional role in the treatment process. During the interviews the professionals described which methods of treatment they work with. We examined the methods through literature research, which was added to the study whit the purpose of strengthening the interview data. The professionals consider their work important and meaningful and they feel safe in their working role.
Aktivitetsmönster och dess relation till upplevd tillfredsställelse med livet i allmänhet
Ett balanserat aktivitetsmönster anses inom arbetsterapi vara en viktig komponent för att uppleva hälsa i aktivitet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva och förstå aktivitetsmönster och dess relation till upplevd tillfredsställelse med livet i allmänhet. Undersökningsgruppen rekryterades från en region i norra Sverige och bestod av 40 personer med diagnosen seropositiv reumatoid artrit. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med instrumenten Occupational Questionair, Life Satisfaction Questionnaire och FRIES index, bearbetades i dataprogram och redovisades med deskriptiv statistik. Resultatet visade att undersökningsgruppen hade en likartad fördelning av sina aktiviteter under dygnet.
Kunddriven fastighetsförvaltning- Effekter på fastighetsvärdet av hög kundnöjdhet
Rådande marknadssituation för lokaluthyrning är tuff. I konkurrensutsatta branscher är nöjda kunder en klar målsättning och ett måste för att överleva. Fastighetsbranschen har tidigare haft andra mål med sin verksamhet än kundnöjdhet, byggandet har varit i fokus och förvaltningsfrågorna har varit lågprioriterade.Idag är många fastighetsföretag på vägen mot att bli mer kundorienterade, det vill säga sätta kunden i fokus istället för fastigheten. Den kunddrivna fastighetsförvaltningen innebär att maximera värdet för sina hyresgäster. Genom ökade resurser på förvaltningen kan man skapa bättre relation med sina hyresgäster vilket medför många fördelar och på sikt kanske även en högre värderad fastighetsportfölj.
Reasons for Voluntary Audit in Sweden
Background: The Swedish Parliament passed a law change in late 2010, suspending the former requirement for all Swedish incorporated companies to have an auditor. The new limit values allow the smallest incorporated companies to dismiss the auditor of the company (or not appoint one in the case of a newly started company). The opinions of abolishing mandatory audit vary, and little research has been done post to the law change. However, a new situation has arisen, meaning the optional choice of voluntary audit, for some companies.Aims and research questions: The aim of the thesis is to examine the reasons behind voluntary audit in Sweden, as well as what value companies, having chosen audit, see in their auditor. The following research questions have been used in order to fulfill the aim of the thesis: ?Why do small private owner-led incorporated companies in Sweden voluntarily choose audit?? and ?What value does the voluntarily chosen auditor add to the companies??Methodology: The research questions were formulated after reviewing relevant literature and scientific articles regarding the topic of voluntary audit, as well as the recent law change in Sweden.
Mindfulness-träning med kognitiv psykoterapiinriktning för patienter med långvarig smärta
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness training in the treatment of chronic pain, estimate the degree of mindfulness before and after intervention, and to describe the participants experience of mindfulness training. Mindfulness is defined as moment to moment, non-judgmental awareness. After the treatment of chronic pain 16 patients were offered and nine agreed to participate in mindfulness training. The intervention group took part in an 8-week group-program. The comparison group, not randomized, was 16 former patients.

Idrott för alla? : Intresse och engagemang för breddverksamhet
Aim. The aim of the study was to describe how nurses in home care experience to pursue palliative care in ordinary housing. Methods. The study had a descriptive design with qualitative approach and was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 14 nurses in home health care from two medium-sized Swedish municipalities. The material was analyzed with manifest and latent content analysis. Findings. The underlying theme that emerged in the study was: Working with palliative care in the patient´s own homes is positive but challenging. Informants describe among other things that they perceived palliative home care as meaningful and that relatives have a central role in the palliative home care since they are close to the patient around the clock. The stress that emerges from the heavy work load and the long geographic distances are described as strenuous and to affect the care in a negative way. Informants describe the home environment as challenging as it is often not adapted for care and the collaboration with the palliative team is described to be experienced as both positive and negative.
Längden på revisionsuppdraget och revisionskvaliteten : Finns det något samband?
This study examines whether there is an association between the length of the client-auditor relationship and audit quality, using absolute unexpected accruals estimated by industry as a measure of audit quality based on a modified Jones model. The study is motivated by the proposal on mandatory audit firm rotation for publicly traded companies from the European Commission, which is based on the notion that longer auditor firm tenure creates a familiarity threat which reduces the audit quality. Both the relation between audit quality and auditor partner tenure and audit firm tenure is examined in this study, using multivariate regression controlling for auditor type (Big 4 versus non-Big 4), signing auditors (one versus two auditors), firm size, profitability, leverage and age. There is a significant negative relationship between audit quality and audit partner tenure when only companies employing Big 4 is tested, which indicate that auditors constrain managements extreme accounting measures with longer tenure. The results provide no significant evidence of an increase in the absolute unexpected accruals with audit firm tenure, when only Big 4 companies are tested.

This essay examines the expected impact of the statury audit exemption in Sweden from anauditor perspective and any conscious changes made on the accounting firms to meet the abolition.The theoretical framework is divided into three parts where the first deals with the concept of audit, who the stakeholders are to revised information, the auditor's function from an agent and positive accountingtheoretical perspective and the expectation gap of what an auditor cando and what the client expect audit to be. The second part deals with the audit exemptions and effects in Denmark and England. The last section addresses the current debate, studies and statements by FAR SRS, small businesses, banks and the tax authority.The essay is essentially inductive with a phenomenological operator perspective. The thesis has a qualitative approach with four respondents who are authorized or approved as an auditor with extensive experience, active on four different accounting firms. The questionnaire is divided into two parts where the first part consists of a number of very open questions and the other part of more structured questions in order to obtain comprehensive answers.The survey shows that a number of new services, certifications and authentication degrees are to be expected in Sweden aswell.
Finns en läkande vårdatmosfär? : En kvalitativ studie om betydelsen av vårdmiljö och bemötande för patienter.
Bakgrund: De medicinska insatser, omvårdnad och rehabilitering som erbjuds patienter i primärvård idag är vedertagna och vanligtvisevidensbaserade. Patienter kan få diagnos, behandling och ofta bot för många åkommor. En dimension som dock mindre ofta är tillvaratagen är effekterna av en genomtänkt fysisk miljö. Ett respektfullt bemötande i kombination med en genomtänkt vårdmiljö kan beskrivas som en god vårdatmosfär.Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur patienter upplever och uppfattar vårdatmosfären vid besök på en rehabiliteringsenhet i primärvård.Metod: Kvalitativaforskningsintervjuer och kvalitativ innehållsanalys Huvudresultat: En vårdatmosfär kan delas in i tre domäner: Fysisk miljö, Bemötande och Organisation. Inom domänerna finns ett antal kategoriermed variationer: Känsla av kontroll, Fysiska förutsättningar för att bli uppmärksammad, Subjektiva upplevelser av miljön, Kunskap om miljöns effekter, Uppmärksammar och bekräftar, Kommunicerar, Helhetssyn, Patienten i fokus, Delaktighet, Empati, Jämlikt möte, Att göradet ?lilla extra?, Innehåll och utbud, Tillgänglighet, Kontinuitet, Vårdkedjor och samverkan, Jämlik vård, Patientens rättigheter, Bemötandeandaoch förbättrings-och utvecklingsanda.Temat som framkommit är Att bli sedd, att vara värdefull.Slutsats: Till begreppet vårdatmosfär kan förutom vårdmiljö och bemötande, organisation läggastill.

Anestesisjuksköterskans upplevelse av sitt yrke
AbstractAim: The purpose of this study was to gain a deeper knowledge of how nurse anesthetists feel about their own profession. It was hoped that by gaining a deeper understanding of how the nurse anesthetist is experiencing its own profession, it will create better conditions for development and evolution of the nurse anesthesia profession and skills. Method: for the study a qualitative approach was used in which ten anesthesia nurses were interviewed, aged 27-55 years, four men and six women participated in the study. The interviews were processed and analyzed based on qualitative content analysis. As a theoretical framework Patricia Benner seven skill domains was used.
Ip-telefoni med Skype som ett alternativ till PSTN för privatanvändare
The project is a practical and theoretical test of IP telephony with Skype in
order to form a base for a comparison between IP-Telephony with Skype and the
Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN). PSTN is the common standard that most
of us use for telephony today. The objective for the study is to simplify the
choice between PSTN and IP-Telephony for the Swedish private customer user
group.
The project is supposed to answer the following questions.
- How easy is it to start using IP-telephony with Skype?
- How is the quality of IP-telephony compared to PSTN?
- Are all services provided by PSTN available and accessible using the
IP-solution?
- How are the usability and the availability of support with IP telephony?
- Is IP-telephony a cheaper solution and in that case under which circumstances?
Within the project a collection of practical and theoretical tests have been
performed to be able to form an opinion on the IP-solution in the following
areas, installation, function, quality, usability, costs, accessibility and
security.
In order to study usability, a test group of ten persons have been used to
evaluate the usability of the system.
Varför lämnar maskinförare skogsbranschen? :
Resignations are common in all business sectors and can also be found among forest machine operators in the forest business. As the industry today faces a lack of forest machine operators it is justified to determine why machine operators choose to quit their jobs. The aim of this study was to a) find out the number of machine operators that have resigned b) identify and analyse the cause for these resignations c) identify the reasons why the machine operators started to work in the forest and d) give suggestions on different measures that will limit resignations amongst forest machine operators.
A questionnaire was sent to machine operators who have quit working as employees, contractors or as employees for contractors with Holmen Skog during 2003-2007. 32 machine operators responded to the questionnaire. Interviews were made with 10 machine operators who had answered the questionnaire to gather more qualitative data.
The results of the study indicate that fewer forest machine operators change profession than employees in other occupations in Sweden.
