De flesta organisationer använder idag informationssystem i sin verksamhet. Ofta har man flera olika system för att lösa olika problem och för att stödja olika funktioner i en organisa¬tion. När en organisation har två eller flera informationssystem som är fristående från varandra riskerar man att hamna i en situation där ett behov att koppla ihop dessa uppstår. Anledningar till detta kan till exempel vara att man vill göra informationen tillgänglig eller effektivisera verksamheten. Fallstudien har undersökt vilka orsaker till, och motiv för, integration som individer i en organisation anser ligga bakom ett upplevt integrationsbehov.

The purpose of this study was investigating the means which rule the social worker?s choice of institution placing youths and how they match the youth?s individual need compared with the type of home. The questions were: Which significance has the characteristics of the youth and their family for the placing? Which significance has the characteristics of the institution? Which significance has the social workers? way of working, investigation, theories, economy etc.? A qualitative way of interviewing has been used. Eight interviews were done; six with social welfare secretaries who place youths and two social workers who work with coun­selling and placement.

Introduktion: På särskilda boenden är fysisk och verbal agitation vanliga symtom hos perso-ner med demenssjukdom. För vårdpersonal och närstående är agitation ett av de svåraste sym-tomen att handskas med. Ett agiterat tillstånd utgör även ett stort lidande för personen med demens. Syfte: Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att undersöka om musikterapi visar någon effekt på agiterat beteende hos personer med demenssjukdom på särskilda boenden. Metod: Metoden som användes var att göra en litteraturöversikt.

Examensarbetet har gått ut på att undersöka om det är möjligt att jämföra foto- grafier på havsbotten tagna med en kamera monterad på SAAB Dynamics farkost AUV-62, här kallad Sapphires, med SONAR-bilder tagna från samma farkost men vid ett annat tillfälle. Föremål avbildade med kamera och sidriktade SONAR:er delar i normalfallet inte visuellt utseende och är därför svåra att jämföra. Meto- den som valts för att jämföra kamera- och SONAR-bilderna grundar sig av denna anledning inte på föremåls individuella utseede utan på mönster skapade av flera föremål. Föremål i bilderna identifieras som objekt, vilka beskrivs med en posi- tion i long. lat.

The school is responsible to make sure that each students´ individual needs are met as well as that the lessons are suitable for all students´ ability. As this is the case it is very interesting to evaluate how this is done in reality. The purpose with the study has been to shed light upon what different methods teachers in various schools use in order to individualize their teach­ings. Are their obvious differences in the way teachers work with individualization and how does this affect the students? The teachers in the different schools provided me with informa­tion on how they work in order to teach, stimulate and motivate well achievers as well as stu­dents who find school more difficult.

Studiens syfte var att sammanställa en kunskapsöversikt över den forskning som finns om barn som fått eller får bevittna våld i hemmet. Min övergripande problemformulering var; hur beskriver man i tidigare forskning de barns livsvillkor som fått bevittna våld i familjen och hur kan man inom det sociala arbetet skydda och stödja de utsatta barnen? Studiens omfatt-ning begränsades till ett selektivt utvalt material med fokus på högst tio år gammal, svensk-producerad litteratur. Detta för att på ett bra sätt kunna visa var forskningen om barn som i Sverige lever med våld i familjen står idag. Huvudinriktningen var att sätta barnens livssitua-tion, socialtjänstens ansvar och det sociala arbetets skydds- och stödinsatser i centrum.

This is the project of making a stage design for Batboy ? the musical, a cooporation with a network of musical artists. The aim of the project was to create a space on stage that strengthens and expands the experience of the story told, and find design solutions that give an extra dimension to the story. The prerequisites for my work were partly defined from the produc¬tion, as were my limitations. In the cast of ten artists some were to play more than one role, often one of the opposite sex.

Överrapportering är en process då patientspecifik informa­tion förmedlas till sjuksköterskan i början av ett pass. Över­lämnande sjuksköterska formar innehållet i överrapporter­ingen efter det behov som framkommer under överrapporter­ingen. Kvaliteten i vården återspeglas av vårdkvalitet utifrån vårdindikatorer och patientens tillfredsställelse. Brister i över­­rapportering kan leda till skada eller till och med död för patienten, då information i överrapporteringen exempelvis är inkomplett. Syftet med studien var att belysa överrapporter­ingen mellan sjuksköterskor relaterat till kvalitet i vården.

We wanted to research if this could affect the unbiased and independent news in our news media today. Today's newsrooms receive a lot of press releases every day.

Purpose: In order to curb the prevalence of undeclared work and to improve competi-tion within the building and construction business, reversed charge audit will from July 1, 2007 onwards be applied within the building sector. The new rules entail a consider-able amount of delimiting problems as regards both businesses and services.The aim of this essay is to study the rules as well as direct the light upon various consequen-tial delimiting problems. Furthermore, we will investigate what the effects are on the busi-nesses, as well as their view regarding this. Apart from this, we will also investigate who will benefit and who will be disfavourably affected, respectively, by the new lawMethod: The investigation has been conducted with a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Firstly, an opinion poll was carried out, directed towards Swedish construction companies, and this was then deepened using three interviews.Result & Conclusions: The essay demonstrates that the new rules have entailed more work to a varying degree for the companies.

Matchning av observationer på bakgrundsvariabler är en metod att i praktiken undvika de problem som uppstår när vi i icke-deterministiska observationsstudier vill mäta potentiella effekter av exem-pelvis projektsatsningar inom sjukvården. Problemet är att vi är begränsade i våra val till potentiella kontrollindivider eftersom dessa ofta skiljer sig från de behandlade individerna i fråga om faktorer som ofta är högt korrelerade med effektvariabeln som vi är intresserade av. Med hjälp av matchning på retrospektiva data kan vi dock ändå estimera kontrafaktiska individer som därefter kan användas som kontroller i estimationen av behandlingseffekten. Inferens av denna effektutvärderingsestimator är dock problematisk då vissa individer potentiellt kan användas flera gånger i analysen och skapa sned-vridning i variansestimatorn. Istället motiveras i denna uppsats en alternativ metod att göra inferens; via subsampling.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the Swedish model with attention to core values over time, as well as, explain recent changes. It examines changes of the social insurance system, with focus on political reforms in the unemployment insurance, health insurance and family policy, during the last two decades. The thesis is empirical but although a discourse amount political theories and normative conceptions.Conclusions are that the normative basis in the Swedish model contains general equally and uni-versally designed rights and consensus on growth and development as well as a strict focus on an employment oriented society. Important values have also been dialogue between actors as well as accountability, even if these facts appear to have declined in recent years.Relating to three leading theories in political philosophy - utilitarianism, Rawlsian communitarian-ism - explores the directions in later year political reforms. The results show that later years changes seem to go in relative strongly utilitarian direction.

Integration is a concept that is very topical in today's multicultural-cultural society. Integration means that everyone should have the same rights, opportunities and obligations to society, regardless of extraction. What counteract integration is segregation, which implies a distinction between different groups and where there exist an inequality between them. Segregation is widespread in Sweden today and the exclusion that it creates needs to be broken. The aim of this paper is to examine if it is possible to promote integra-tion through physical planning.

För många kvinnor kan det vara en förlust att förlora det ena eller båda brösten. Detta kan leda till att kvinnornas upple-velse av den kvinnliga identitet förändras vilket även påver-kar kvinnornas psykiska välbefinnande. Kvinnors psykiska behov blir inte alltid tillgodosedda i hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet med studien var att belysa vad som påverkar kvinnor att uppnå ökat psykiskt välbefinnande efter mastektomi. En litteraturstudie genomfördes där 14 vetenskapliga artiklar bearbetades utifrån studiens syfte.

The present study is embedded in the research field of Personal Information Management (PIM) and its goal is to contribute to this research area by showing information management aspects in untraditional contexts, as in the social networking site Twitter. The aim and purpose of this two year's master thesis was to investigate the beha-viour of librarians within the context of Twitter. The objectives of this thesis focus on the query of the informa-tion management aspect of Twitter, and on the investigation into whether Twitter offers the possibility to reach a state of flow while using it, as well as inquiring into the relationship between Mihaly Csikszentmihalyis flow theory and PIM. The theoretical framework of this thesis is centred upon the flow theory and the conditions that are necessary to reach a state of flow. To fulfill the purpose of this thesis a directed content analysis is applied as an investigative method, where its in-depth research aspects will be applied upon the empirical material, which contains 429 tweets.
