The concept of building work environment co- ordinator is a relatively new concept that has its origin in the amendment to the Working Environment Act which came into force on 1 January 2009. The result shows that there are currently no present guidelines for how and when the handover should take place, it is up to each individual to provide themselves with the relevant information.If the handover of the work environment would occur to the extent it should it would lead to minimized proportions of unforeseen risks and events that may occur during the production phase, which ultimately leads to a better and healthier working environment..

The number of HIV- positive is increasing all over the world and it's very likely to meet these patients as a nurse. The interaction between the nurse and the patient is characterized by experience and knowledge and at the same time the nurse is expected to act professionally. The purpose of this literature review is to investigate the nurse's complex of problems regarding the treatment of the HIV- positive patient by exploring the attitudes against HIV among nurses and how the nurse can maintain the integrity of the HIV- positive patient. Antonovsky's salutoqenic model, sense of coherence, has been used as theoretical frame. From 14 articles five topics have been found that influence the nurse's attitudes against HIV-positive patients.

Denna magisteruppsats i krigsvetenskap med inriktning i militärteknik behandlar utveckling av kravställningen i materielproduktionsprocessen för örlogsfartyg, exemplifierat av en konfigurationslösning för manöverbryggan. Syftet är att föreslå nya krav på materielproduktionsprocessen för att skapa förutsättningar för konfigurationslösningar på örlogsfartyg som säkerställer utövandet av den väpnade striden och hanterar effekter av stridsskador samtidigt som den militära sjösäkerheten tillgodoses. Utifrån inhämtad kunskap om materielproduktionsprocessen, mänskliga faktorer, den väpnade striden, den militära sjösäkerheten och en standard för hantering av skador orsakade av strid analyseras en befintlig manöverbryggas konfigurationslösning, innan och efter en skada, utifrån ställda krav inom den väpnade striden och den militära sjösäkerheten. Manöverbryggans konfigurationslösning utvecklas och en förnyad analys sker på motsvarande sätt. Resultatet presenteras i form av ett antal nya krav som bör ställas på materielproduktionsprocessen för att skapa förutsättningar enligt ovan angivna syfte..

Ögonskydd skyddar personalens ögonslemhinna mot stänk av kroppsvätskor och användandet av dubbla handskar minskar risk för blodsmitta vid stick- och skärskador.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka preoperativa val av och motivering till val av huvudskydd, ögonskydd och handskar hos operatörer och operationssjuksköterskor. Metod: I en empirisk, deskriptiv studie med tvärsnittsdesign undersöktes val av och motivering till val av huvudskydd, ögonskydd och handskar. Operationssjuksköterskor och operatörer observerades och tillfrågades med stöd av ett strukturerat frågeformulär.Resultat: På två operationsavdelningar i Stockholms län utfördes 240 observationer.

Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att undersöka om det finns en gemensam kultur bland företagarna på ett kontorshotell. Studien har ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv där interaktionen mellan de olika aktörerna antas vara den viktigaste komponenten i uppkomsten av en kultur. De frågeställningar som studien avser att besvara handlar om interaktionen mellan aktörerna och på vilka olika sätt kulturen uttrycks. Den teoretiska referensramen utgörs framförallt av teorier kring organisationskultur. I första hand har Scheins tre kulturnivåer och Bangs fyra former av kulturuttryck legat till grund för kartläggningen av kulturens uttryckssätt.

Wastewater handling of private sewage systems has become an all increasing matter. In Stockholm region the 90 000 private sewage systems contribute with larger phosphorus flows to the Baltic Sea than the two biggest sewage plants in the area, Henriksdal and Käppala, contribute together, even though these two plants purify wastewater from more than one million inhabitants. When summer house areas turn into areas for permanent living ? transition areas ? the load on the existing systems increases, systems that already often are unsatisfying. Bakgrund: De senaste decennierna har förekomsten av fetma ökat drastiskt i Sverige och världen. Genom detta har behovet av olika behandlingsformer ökat, däribland fetmakirurgi. Den vanligaste operationsmetoden är gastric bypass vilken för många patienter kräver livslånga förändringar gällande kostvanor. Vanligt förekommande komplikationer efter gastric bypass är dumpingsymtom, vilka delvis kan begränsas utifrån ätbeteende. Etablerade nationella riktlinjer för kostråd före och efter fetmaoperationer saknas i dagsläget.Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka kostvanor och måltidsmönster, dumpingsymtom samt upplevelser av dietistkontakt i samband med operation hos personer som genomgått gastric bypass.Metod: En webbaserad enkätundersökning om kostvanor riktad till gastric bypass-opererade personer i Sverige genomfördes via bekvämlighetsurval.

This diploma work was conducted in collaboration with the Swedish civil engineeringconstruction company Skanska Construction in Stockholm. Their interest is todevelop a number of type approved form constructions which can be used during theconstruction of concrete walls. Skanska focuses on improving safety on their projectsand both supervisors and workers have a need for approved form constructions inthe current situation.The study is focused on safety and the purpose is to facilitate the preparation beforethe form work can begin. By studying the literature of the subject and conductinterviews with employees at Skanska Construction, the understanding of the issueand knowledge will be increased.Literature studies, interviews together with production and design have been thebasis for a successful study. The work has resulted in three types of approved formconstructions to Skanska Construction and the drawings can be used of employees atthe company.

This study is about an ongoing project in the northern parts of Sweden. Quattro Helix is used as a model for the interaction between four institutional members of the society, in purpose of challenging existing social structures and achieveing community development. The aim is to increase the knowledge about Quattro Helix-model as an approaching method to face the problems in the society through cooperation between Civil society, state, academy and industry. Interviews with eight project members were used as the data-collecting method to capture the perceptions about the project constellations. Information was gathered from two representatives from each of the four actors.

In the latest years the Swedish armed forces have gone from an armed force with conscripts to voluntary men and women. When the basic training is voluntarily may the question be if the new men and women have the same approach to Desirable competences and pedagogy that is used by their officers during their training. Desirable competences are a part of the model transformational leadership and are divided into task related competence, management competence, social competence and capacitate to cope with stress.To deal with this problem I have used questionnaires from conscripts and a new questionnaire made on voluntary recruits.I have compared the results in a case study method and it shows a positive progress from the recruits view how the officers use examples from the transformational leadership. The study shows that recruits want officers to make demands, motivate and inspire them. The recruits want to know the goal with the education and they want the officers to make demands on them..

There has been a lot of debate in media about mathematics teaching in grade school in Sweden. Many students experience that mathematics in grade school is abstract, which leads to decreased interest of mathematics in early years. An international study indicates that Swedish students in class 4 do not fulfill the mean for mathematics according to EU/OECD countries. The study also shows that Sweden practice a textbook driven education, compared to other countries. The aim for this study was to find out how a few pedagogues for class F-6 teach mathematics, and why they have chosen to educate the way they do.
