AbstractTitle: It is not necessary to be the best, but I don?t want to be average Author: Maja Benca & Emma Ender Tutor: Hedvig EkerwaldPurpose: The purpose of this thesis was to identify the subjective experiences of stressors and demands of law students of Uppsala University. Beyond these problems, this thesis was also identifying if there was a balance or conflict between social life and studies from a social psychological perspective. This essay is based on five key questions: How does the subjective experience of stress and demands affect the interviewed law students? How do the interviewed law students handle the stress and demands in their studies and in everyday life? Do the interviewed law students consider there is a balance between social life and studies? How do the law students want to present themselves in front of classmates and teachers? What do the interviewed law students consider to be the main goal in life? Method/Material: The material used in this thesis consists of a total of ten interviews with law students of Uppsala University, five women and five men in the ages of 20 - 32.

I mitten av 1990-talet närmare bestämt 1996 gjordes en film kallad Diary of a Camper. Filmen handlade om en person som satt och lurpassade på sina fiender i ett datorspel. Det som var speciellt med denna film var inte handlingen eller något fantastiskt kameraarbete. Nej det som var speciellt var det faktum att filmen spelades in i ett datorspel. Denna film anses vara startskottet för machinimakulturen som idag omfattar flera tusen utövare världen över.Det var personerna bakom Diary of a camper som myntade uttrycket machinima som är en sammanslagning av de engelska orden ?machine? och ?animation? alltså maskin och animation.

Is it possible, and suitable, to use multimedia in classic literature studies at Swedish upper secondary school? What alternatives are there?  Is there any foundation in the curriculum for an expanded conception of text as in multimedia?  Will the conception literacy support use of multimedia in classic literature studies, and in what ways? How do we generally look upon the definition text, is it only printed letters, or something more? To get an answer to the questions we decided to examine a number of theories, Gardner?s theory about the different intelligences, the conception literacy and the expanded text concept. In these three theories we took our starting-point for the following work. The main subjects became two interactive sights on Internet and one CD-ROM, all containing classic literature. Our previous knowledge in this subject field was very meager.  This work has given us an opportunity to discover some of the multimedia that is available, and the result we have come to is that multimedia absolutely belongs in studies of classic literature as well as in other subjects.

Today around 28 000 women originally from countries where FGM is practised, are living in Sweden. Many of them are at childbearing age which means that knowledge about FGM and its consequences is of outmost importance during delivery. The aim of this study is to describe current research on how to manage the delivery, regarding deinfibulation and the following stitching as well as the risk of complications when the labouring woman is mutilated. This review of literature is based on 12 scientific articles published between years 1989 ? 2005.

Jag tycker många skådespelare resonerar felaktig när dom anser att man inte är tillräckligt serös som skådespelare om man kan stunt, vilket jag tycker är helt absurt! Jag skulle säga att man som skådespelare är mer seriös ju allsidigare man är. En skådespelare borde ju ha ett intresse av att kunna gestalta en mångfald av olika karaktärer beroende på vad en föreställning och scen kräver, och inte nöja sig med att spela samma person i föreställning efter föreställning utan någon som helst tanke på vad för roll dom gestaltar, och förlita sig på att dom kommer undan kritik med att vara duktiga på att höja och sänka rösten, samt flitigt använda sig av kortare eller längre processer. När det gäller stunt så tror jag många skådespelare är kritiska för att dom inte vet vad ett stunt är eller för att dom själva inte kan utföra ett stuntmoment och är för lata för att lära sig. Redan Konstantin Stanislavskij frågade hur det kom sig att inte skådespelarna tränade sitt instrument lika mycket som en dansare tränar sin kropp eller en sångare tränar sin röst? Jag tror många skådespelare av någon konstig anledning inte tror sig behöva träna sitt instrument, dom förlitar sig på att det räcker med att visa sitt kända ansikte för en publik och använda sig av stora känslor och gester på en scen för att få folk att tycka man är duktig.

AbstractThe employer is obliged to initiate negotiations with the union organization to which the employer is bound by a collective agreement. This applies both to decisions which imply a substantial change in workplace operations or employment conditions of the individual employee. In case law this obligation has been very extensive through all cases that have been up in the Swedish Labor court. Flaxseed oil is very rich in these fatty acids and has also been highlighted as an affordable and sustainable source.Objective: To investigate whether ALA-fatty acids from flaxseed oil may affect blood pressure in people with high risk for cardiovascular disease.Search strategy: Two searches in PubMed and Scopus were performed. The sample was specified by using specific keywords.Selection criteria: The criteria for inclusion of studies required that flaxseed oil was compared with a control and that blood pressure was measured as an endpoint.

The study is aimed at investigating the images of God, or how God is percepted, that is beingpresented in the artistic work of Ingmar Bergman, and how they differ from each other. The filmsthat are being analysed in this study is The seventh seal (1957), The Magician (1958), Through aglass darkly (1961), Winter light (1963), The Silence (1963), Persona (1965) and Cries andwhispers (1973).To examine the images of God that are being presented throughout the scope of the study Iam mainly using common cinematic theories that are presented in James Monacos How to read afilm (2000) and Louis Giannettis Understanding film(1993) which basically are structuralistapproaches to discussing film as a language and interpretation.I am studying each movie as it is presented to us, the viewers, and only speaking of the film.I am also looking into Ingmar Bergmans personal life, not to examine if he was a Christian believer,but for clues to interpret themes, characters and the event taking place in each of the films. Thestudy is investigating the series of films as a connected unity, a connected unity that explores therelationship of God and mankind as it is presented in the films.The result of the study is that the image of God presented in the films of Ingmar Bergman isa God that moves from the transcendent sphere to the immanent sphere, a God, or ?the Holy? thatover the years transforms into something materialistic. The cause of fibromyalgia has long been unknown but recent studies has shown that disturbance in the central pain modulation may be the cause. The aim of the study was to examine what kind of physiotherapy and close related treatment methods in the treatment of fibromyalgia there are and to determine their evidence. Articles were obtained by searching through the databases PubMed, Academic Search, AMED/Webspirs, CINAHL/webspirs and PEDro for articles published from 1994 and ten years forward. The study was based on thirty articles that met the criteria for inclusion. To assess the quality of the clinical studies the SBU?s evaluation model was used.

Stress is common in today?s society, but the word stress has numerous connotations. The aim of this study was to investigate how dogs are effected by stress and what the veterinary nurse can do to help dogs to avoid or at least mitigate stress within the veterinary hospital. The goal was also to see how dogs perceive the environment in the veterinary hospital and what behaviours dogs demonstrate when they enter the hospital and during their stay. Studies have shown that dogs have a reluctant feeling on entering a veterinary hospital. They can feel stressed by coming to a new environment, as well as by being put in a cage with no control over what is going to happen to them.

In today's society we are used to regularly visit the sport arena to cheer for our favorite team, we go to the cinema to enjoy a good movie or maybe to the theatre to experience a grand performance. It has become far more common in the last years to buy tickets to these kinds of events online. To make sure that the customer will keep on buying their tickets from the online booking companies the booking experience itself has to be hassle-free and easy to understand. The customer will most likely, if possible, avoid the website if the booking itself is experienced as having problems and insecurities.  The purpose of this study is to determine some of the most fundamental designs and functions of online booking websites today as perceived by the general public.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur den amerikanska ockupationen påverkade den japanska filmen i allmänhet, och Akira Kurosawas (1910-1998) produktion under denna tidsperiod i synnerhet. För att uppnå detta skisserar jag en översiktlig och lättillgänglig bild av den japanska filmhistorien, från dess tidigaste skede fram till 1952, vilken jag hoppas kan fungera som en historisk fond. Vad gäller ockupationstiden, ger jag inledningsvis en kortare historisk överblick, för att sedan begränsa perspektivet och fokusera på Akira Kurosawas filmproduktion under denna tid. Jag har vidare valt att begränsa valet av filmer - ur Kurosawas repertoar under åren 1945-52 - till följande alster: The Men Who Tread on the Tiger's Tail (1945), No Regrets for Our Youth (1946), One Wonderful Sunday (1947), Drunken Angel (1948) och Stray Dog (1949). Jag har valt dessa filmer, främst därför att de alla innehåller material som i mångt och mycket exemplifierar den påverkan som den amerikanska ockupationsmakten hade på Kurosawas produktioner - och japansk film - under ockupationen.

Iron deficiency is one of the most frequent micronutrient deficiencies around the world. Low iron bioavailability simultaneously with a high iron requirement is a high risk factor for developing iron deficiency. Probiotics are microorganisms that confer a health benefit on the host. Prebiotics are oligosaccharides which provide a health benefit on the host due to a positive modulation of the microflora in the gut. The aim of this paper is to evaluate if there is a connection between pro-and/or prebiotics and iron bioavailability.

This study examined how users interact with a smartphone while in a learning situation based on videos via smartphones as a learning tool, and how this interaction and phenomena is experienced. The five test subject were separately given the same task that they were to solve using video instructions that were picked out and given to them. After finishing the task the subjects were observed while they demonstrated how they completed the task. After the observation the subject were interviewed using semi-structured interviews. The results show that the user experience of this phenomena is based on more pragmatic values than we could find in earlier studies, i.e.
