Detta arbete är en kvalitativ fallstudie med syfte att undersöka hur några intervjuade lärare från en gymnasieskola i södra Norrland förhåller sig till sociala medier, hur dessa lärare uppfattar att sociala medier påverkar deras integritet, yrkesetik, fostransuppdrag och pedagogiska arbete. Frågeställningarna arbetet har utgått ifrån har berört gränsdragningar mellan privatliv och offentlighet, hur lärare kan uppträda i sociala medier, hur lärare ser på vänskapsrelationer till elever, vilka eventuella pedagogiska vinningar respektive hot sociala medier kan tänkas medföra.För att besvara uppsatsens frågeställningar har intervjuer med sju anställda lärare på en given gymnasieskola gjorts. De resultat som framkommit i denna studie, är bland annat att samtliga lärare är överens om att lärares privatliv påverkar deras yrkesroll i viss mån. Ifråga om vad lärare kan göra i sociala medier, med åtanke på deras yrkesroll, var de flesta lärare överens om att brott mot skolans värdegrund samt yrkesetiska principer var förbjudna, men också att lärare utöver detta har ett visst ansvar över hur man framställer sig själv i sociala medier. Gällande pedagogiska hot och vinningar, finns det ett potentiellt hot att lärares arbetsbörda ökar, samtidigt är vinningen att lärares förståelse för elever kan tillta..

In Kenya, many families subsist on agriculture and of the country's around 40 million residents 70% work in the agricultural sector. 50 % of the country's gross domestic production (GDP) comes from farming, and thus the country is largely dependent on income from this sector. Kenya's population has tripled in recent decades, which have led to that food availability is a growing problem. To ensure food security, it is important that the return from crops increases. The aim of this study is to evaluate what impact the use of fertilizers and improved seeds has for farmer?s economic situation and income generation.

Förändringar sker i alla typer av organisationer och är ofta en svår uppgift att genomföra eftersom det är en komplicerad process som påverkar alla individer i en organisation och de behöver i sin tur skapa mening och förståelse av förändringen. Lagen om offentlig upphandling är den lag som reglerar hur kommuner hanterar upphandlingar och det är denna lag som ligger till grund för den studerade kommunkoncernens förändringsarbete med att byta affärssystem. Syftet med denna studie är att öka förståelsen för institutionella mekanismer och anställdas meningsskapande processer under ett förändringsarbete i en kommunkoncern. Syftet är även att identifiera viktiga faktorer vid en förändring samt att utveckla en analysmodell för att förstå den process en kommun genomgår i ett förändringsarbete. Förståelsen för institutionella mekanismer och anställdas meningsskapande processer ökas genom institutionell teori och litteraturen om sensemaking samt av de berörda aktörernas upplevelse av förändringsarbetet.

This essay is about the origin, planning and establishment of the European Space Research Organisation's (ESRO) sounding rocket base Esrange outside Kiruna in Northern Sweden. Three main questions are examined. First I show there were not just scientific and technical but also political, economical as well as military reasons to build a European rocket base. Second, I scrutinize the reasons to choose Northern Sweden as the location for the rocket base. As it turns out, the main reasons were the favourable location of Northern Sweden within the aurora oval zone, the proximity of the Kiruna Geophysical Observatory, and the possibility to use a large, although not quite uninhabited, area where the launched rockets could crash.

This master?s thesis looks at discourses that use the pronoun ?hen?. The media debate in Sweden over this pronoun in 2012 started in connection with the publishing of a children?s picture book: Kivi och monsterhund, by Jesper Lundqvist and Bettina Jansson. The essay investigates how eight librarians, who take an interest in and work with gender issues, talk about the pronoun hen and about this picture book and other books that have characters which are not named as a sex/gender.The essay takes a discursive perspective on reality and on the construction of knowledge and carries out a discourse analysis of the librarians? talk in the qualitative interviews that were made for this study.

Syftet med vårt arbete är att få insyn i fem unga kvinnors upplevelser av att vara instrumentalist i ensemblespel vid ett musikestetiskt program. Vi har valt att intervjua fem unga kvinnor vid ett gymnasium i norrland. Intervjuerna spelades in och skrevs ner ordagrant. Svaren från intervjuerna sammanställdes och bearbetades i förhållande till fyra rubriker som täcker vårt syfte. Resultatet har vi sedan jämfört med tidigare forskning inom området.

This study is about how the dialog can help students with special needs to feel participation and inclusion in the class and the teaching. My purpose with this study was to look for how the students with special needs interact with other students and teachers through the dialogue. I also wanted to know if there is any positive and negative effects to teaching students with special need in the classroom compared with the teaching at the special teacher.I have taking purpose of the sociocultural theory in my study because it says that children learn together when they communicate with each other. The theory central words are dialog and scaffolding in the zone of proximal development. I also describe central words like participation, inclusion and students with special needs in the special teaching.I have investigated in four interviews, two of them were with a teacher and a special aids teacher, and two of them were students with special needs.

Uppsatsens syfte är att visa hur den lokala järnvägspolitiken i Halland såg ut på 1800-talet och även göra en komparativ analys med Ostkustbanan. Finansieringen av järnvägsprojekten i Sverige utfördes främst av staten, medan planerandet och byggandet till stor del präglades av lokala beslut. Debatten inom järnvägspolitiken i Halland granskas med hjälp av en teori hämtad från Fredrik Anderssons avhandling Mot framtiden på gamla spår? Regionala intressegrupper och beslutsprocesser kring kustjärnvägarna i Norrland under 1900-talet. Den komparativa analysen mellan Ostkustbanan och järnvägarna i Halland går in både på järnvägspolitiken och sedan hur de olika järnvägarnas kom att förstatligas.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the places importance for young people with disabilities. The study?s central questions are what type of places they visit and what characterizes them. It is also about answering the questions why the places are visited and what meaning this has for participation and identity. The study´s central concept is room/place, participation and identity.

I Umeå idag bortskaffas trädgårdsavfall från villor av villaägarna själva till återvinningscentraler med egen bil. Detta är relativt ineffektivt och tidsödande, och problem har uppstått med olaglig deponering av avfall i tätortsnära skogsdungar. Ett hämtsystem för trädgårdsavfall där avfallet hämtas i kärl är vanligt i Mellansverige, men finns inte i Norrland. Därför utreds nu möjligheterna och hållbarheten och förutsättningarna för ett sådant hämtsystem även i Umeå. Kostnaderna för ett sådant system beräknas bli störst det första året, men systemet beräknas kunna bära sina egna kostnader med en liten avgift om ca 400 kr per år.

Women today feel that their urban surroundings are unsafe, and because of that they use different strategies to reduce the risk of being exposed to criminal acts towards them. The focus of this study is to develop an understanding of the insecure feeling that women feel and what that feeling might originate from. By using previous research and theories we have been able to incorporate a gender perspective on the study this because the gender role is central to understand women?s feelings of insecurity. The purpose of the study was to develop a deeper understanding of women?s sense of safety and insecurity.The central questions of the study are1.

In the coming years, organic food waste will be collected in the region of Gästrikland, Sweden. The collection is planned to cover the entire region by the end of year 2007. To start with, smaller amounts are being collected and transported to a central composting plant in Sala. However, a central composting plant in the region of Gästrikland is projected.The objective of this thesis is to evaluate a number of possible methods for composting of organic food wastes regarding their environmental impacts and localization.There are four scenarios for future composting of organic waste that have been evaluated. There are two that consist of membrane composting, either in Sala or in the region of Gästrikland.

The purpose of this study is to examine what motivates people to help others at risk to themselves. The focus is on international aid workers, which in their work put themselves in situations of risk. Earlier research shows that international aid work involves risks such as infectious diseases, violence, death threats, assaults, constant insecurity and risk to be traumatized etc. There is not much research done on what motivates to help others in spite of risks, hence we find this an interesting area. We have interviewed six respondents about the content and character of their motivation and factors that are important for the maintenance and development of this motivation.

Abstract The aim of this paper is to investigate whether Vara municipality has a continuous picture of their identity, profile and image. Globalization has contributed to the increasingly growing of place marketing. Therefore, the study goes on to using the concepts of identity, profile and image to find out if Vara Municipality communicates similar throughout the whole organization and find out their all through core values. Globalisation will be an interpretive framework for the work that describes why the place marketing is becoming more pressing. The sense of place will be a central part of this study as it is the feelings and images of different places that will be described by the municipality together with the identity, profile and image.

During the last couple of years many sectors and markets have had an increase in the competitive situation, this has meant that being cost effective have become more essential if organizations want to stay in business and be competitive. Thus, one crucial issue has become how to utilize the resources already available within the organization. Organizations can thoroughly plan and control personnel resources in order to become more efficient. But to become more cost effective also means taking into consideration several key figures, productivity being one of the more important figures.Onninen, a wholesaler which has one of its two central warehouses in Örebro has experienced this issue, i.e. an increase in competitive situation in their market.
