The main discussion in this essay concern what the Emerging Church is, its sociological and theological context, their main critique of modernism and the consequences in theology and praxis. EC is not a new church but wants to be a new way of being church. In England much of the discussion concerning EC has found a context within the report Mission-Shaped Church (MSC). EC differs from Emergent Village which is a continuing discussion from a postmodern philosophical view.EC is born in an evangelical context with the tensions in the postmodern context, the liminal situation with among other items the disussion about a liquid culture and liquid church. Other backgroundfactors are the ChurchGrowth-movement, Willow Creek and the Gospel and Our Culture.EC critisizes its evangelical background and moves the Center from justification to incarnation, from propostionalism, individualism, mission and activism to a theology of incarnational community life.Four different proponents are considered; Brian Mclaren, Dan Kimball, Karen Ward and Ben Edson.

This essays overarching aim is to contribute to the theoretical discussion of transformation processes that are shaping the urban landscapes and further to problematize contemporary planning discourses in Sweden. Drawing on the concept of Foucault?s heterotopia and actor-network theory for spatial analysis, the paper seeks to analyze the complex urban landscape transformation process as an emergent property of human and non-human actor-networks seeking to transform and order space. With the district of Rosenlund in Gothenburg as a starting point, this thesis intends to examine how the cultural infrastructure - used by the residents and visitors of the city - are related to the city's planning and development processes. The case study is based on a boat (Rio Rio) in Rosenlund canal that is defined as a cultural infrastructure.

Bakgrunden visar att hembesök till nyblivna föräldrar är en bra och väletablerad metod för personal vid barnavårdscentralen och är en del av det nationella Barnhälsovårdsprogrammet som erbjuds alla barn och deras föräldrar. Syftet med föreliggande studien var att genom intervjuer med distriktssköterskor vid barnavårdscentraler belysa deras arbete med och reflektioner kring hembesök hos nyblivna föräldrar. Metoden var en kvalitativ ansats med en beskrivande design. Åtta distriktssköterskor som arbetar vid barnavårdscentraler runt om i ett län intervjuades med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultatet visade att samtliga av de intervjuade distriktssköterskorna ansåg att det var viktigt med hembesök till nyblivna föräldrar, då det gav en möjlighet att skapa en relation på ett helt annat sätt än vid enbart besök på mottagningen.

Brucellos är en zoonos med stor samhällspåverkan såväl ekonomiskt som socialt. Infektionen kan drabba majoriten av världens däggdjur och orsakar reproduktionsstörningar hos värddjuren medan de humana fallen karakteriseras av undulerande feber. Alla aborter i sen dräktighet skall betraktas som misstänkta fall av brucellos. Europeiska Unionen (EU) vill bekämpa sjukdomen helt och inriktar sig främst på Brucella abortus och Brucella melitensis men även till viss del Brucella suis då dessa anses höra samman med såväl de humana fallen som de största ekonomiska förlusterna. EU motiverar sina medlemsländer med finansiella bidrag till de nationella bekämpningsprogrammen.

Hypertension is one of the most common reasons for visiting primary care. It is one of the most important modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular disease, suffering and death. Lifestyle change, such as increased physical activity is the foundation of treatment of hypertension. Lifestyle change starts as a process in which patients can be helped by a nurse through conscious communication, educate and support increased physical exercise.AimThe aim of this study was to investigate the district nurse´s experiences of interacting with patients with hypertension about physical activity.MethodIndividual qualitative study. Ten nurses from health Center were interviewed.

Today's planning strategy, densification of cities, makes it difficult for municipal authorities to find spaces to build preschools and daycare Centers on. The Planning and Building Act , Chapter 8, § 9 states that " if the site should be developed with buildings that contain one or more dwellings or premises for after-school , preschool, school or other activities, it should be on the property or near it, enough free space which is suitable for play and being outdoors. " Each municipality has to define the expression enough free space and a number of municipalities have established guidelines for preschool and daycare Centers concerning dimensions. The guidelines measure the number of square meters of free space per child with the aim of contributing to a qualitative environment. But the size is just one quality and the issue is how other non-quantifiable qualities are taken into account in the planning process. The paper compares three municipalities, Gothenburg, Malmö and Lund.

The town square is an important public space and is often described as the city´s living room. By creating a lively city Center a sense of security is developed among the citizens which makes them wanting to use the town square regardless the time of the day. One important meeting point in Gävle is the centrally located Stortorget, sited between Drottninggatan and Nygatan. The town square went through an extensive renovation followed by both positive and negative reactions among the City´s inhabitants.  The aim with the study was to investigate the main walking paths and meeting points as a planning support to Gävle Municipality in their work with a new city plan. By studying the pedestrian movement patterns at Stortorget, Nygatan and Drottninggatan, the main walking paths and meeting points during all hours of the day was obtained.

Lucida drömmar (LD) innebär att drömmaren inser, under drömmens gång, att omgivningen och händelserna runtomkring är en dröm och inger förmågan att kunna påverka och reflektera över händelserna i drömmen. I lucid dreaming treatment (LDT) får drömmaren lära sig att förändra mardrömmars händelseförlopp. Dock blir inte alla lucida och många tror att det är själva känslan av kontroll som ger en effekt. Studien kommer utforska om kontroll utgör en nyckelkomponent i LDT genom att undersöka sambandet mellan LD och locus of control (LoC), depression och subjektivt välbefinnande där LD verkar som en medierande variabel mellan å ena sidan LoC och å andra sidan depression samt subjektivt välbefinnande. Deltagarna (n = 54) i undersökningen har fyllt i formulär gällande frekvens av drömmar och LD samt formulären Rotter?s 29 item internal-external scale, Center for epidemiologic studies depression scale, International positive and negative affect schedule short form, Satisfaction with life scale och Pittsburgh sleep quality index.

Bakgrund: En hälsosam och varierad kost är viktig vid alla tidpunkter i livet, inte minst i samband med en graviditet. Gravida kvinnor har i regel ett ökat intresse av att söka efter kostråd som är specifikt anpassade för gravida. Rekommendationer gällande intag av energi och näringsämnen skiljer sig mellan gravida och icke gravida kvinnor. Rekommendationerna skiljer sig bland annat i energibehov samt vid intag av järn, folsyra, vitamin D och kalcium. I Sverige finns mödravårdcentraler, dessa är Center för kvinnor som planerar en graviditet eller är gravida.

Close to the city Center of Reykjavik lies the combined national- and university library of Iceland. Usually, these two types of institutions are separated. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how the library in fact selects the new digital material to offer the users in Iceland, and if the combined mission creates any problems or conflicts.The investigation examines the planning and the content of the digital library, what user groups are addressed and how the organisation is held together despite the different missions. If cultural context in Iceland makes a difference for what is selected and offered to the users is also discussed.Six informants in strategic library positions dealing with the digital national- or university library, were interviewed. The answers have been analysed in light of the library&information literature on building and maintaining digital library collections and organizational and marketing theory.The main result of the study is that the informants do not see a conflict between the missions of the organisation, although traces of a struggle were found in some areas.

Bakgrund: Potträningen har de senaste decennierna senarelagts. Svenska barn blir i genomsnitt kontinenta vid tre års ålder trots att barn kan uppnå blåskontroll redan under spädbarnstiden. Sen potträning kan leda till fysiska och psykiska komplikationer. Att potträningen har senarelagts kan bland annat bero på att föräldrar har svårt att bedöma när barn är redo för potträning. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilken information som ges kring potträning från BVC (barnavårdscentral) -sjuksköterskor och vad den informationen baserades på.

Jag har ritat en skola i Mariehäll. Konceptet för skolan baserar sig på att skolans program delas upp och får rymmas i fyra volymer. Då volymerna förskjuts i relation till varandra skapas mellanrum där skolans kommunikationer sker. Det har varit viktigt att skapa välfungerande och tydliga flöden.Programmet som fördelas i de fyra huskropparna kan grovt delas upp i kategorier. En kategori innehåller utrymmen för personal, administration och lokalvård, en annan ett kulturcentrum och skolrestaurang och en tredje skolbarnens hemvist.

The study is a case study about the green urban district, East Kvillebäcken, located in Gothenburg, Hisingen. East Kvillebäcken is the first urban district in Sweden with ambition to build sustainable according to the certification system Miljöbyggnad, which make it a pioneer project. The purpose is to investigate the upcoming and the meaning of the green urban district in East Kvillebäcken and show how public employees think the urban district can affect social, ecologic and economic aspects in the area. Dialogue interviews were done with four public employees, one estate agent and two residents. Local plans and other authority documents were used to get a deeper understanding for the case study.

Among those who graduate from the various schools of Social work in Sweden are a great majority women. At the same time men are sought after in the work field.  But not just to level up the equality between the sexes, but also to fill a gender specific niche to counter up a need for male role models. But a closer look at this need and the types of functions set to cater for it shows that male role models as a concept vary between contexts. In this study we examine the concepts and the practices of male role models in three different settings: a municipal social care Center offering young boys male bonding activities; a non-profit organization warding young people from drug abuse and criminal behavior; and last, a long term residential home for young boys between the ages 13 and 19. Our research shows that the concept of the male role model vary between the organizations and less so within.
