The Swedish market for vehicle inspection is re-regulated since June 2010. More than four years after the re-regulation there are eight companies in the market. Two of these companies are a result of the former monopolist's owners divided the business among themselves. The remaining six companies have entered the market through acquisitions or by building up their business from scratch, these are known as new entrants in the study. The competition has developed slowly and the former monopolist still has the highest market share.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur mammor och pappor upplever BVC kontakten. Totalt deltog tio mammor och tio pappor och data samlades in via intervjuer. Resultatet visade att både mammor och pappor överlag var nöjda med BVC personalens bemötande. De flesta respondenterna ansåg att BVCs verksamhet riktades mer till mammorna. Papporna beskrev att de ville få större möjlighet till delaktighet i BVC.

I have studied the curriculum for the compulsory Swedish school, from the curriculum from year 1962 when the Swedish grundskolan became a reality, to the curriculum from year 1994, the one in practice today. My primary interest has been what the curriculum says about bringing up the Swedish youth. My theory has been the British analyst Norman Fairclough?s Critical Language Studies. His thoughts about actual discourse, type of discourse and order of discourse has led me through out this essay.

Vi vill i detta arbete få en djupare insikt i hur kundtjänstmedarbetare upplever sitt arbete. Kundtjänstmedarbetare upplever ständigt känslomässiga krav från kunder och organisationen. Hur upplever kundtjänstmedarbetaren arbetet, interaktionen, krav/kontroll och gemenskap? Vi berör kundtjänstmedarbetarens arbete kopplat till taylorismens huvudprinciper där vi ser hur kundtjänstmedarbetarens arbetsrutiner är noga uträknade för maximal effektivitet. Med hjälp av kända teoretiker som Hochschild, Karasek och Taylor ska vi reda ut hur kundtjänstmedarbetare upplever och känner för att sedan koppla det till det mekaniska arbetet som kundtjänstmedarbetare.Genom intervjuer har vi fått en djupare förståelse i arbetet hos kundtjänstmedarbetare på ett call Center.

SyfteUppsatsens syfte är att identifiera abnormala prisrörelser på petroleummarknaden i anslutning till orkaner. Om sådana kan identifieras undersöker vi statistiskt i vilken mån de kan förklaras av National Hurricane Centers rapporter om orkanernas egenskaper. Teoretiskt perspektivDet teoretiska huvudperspektivet utgörs av den effektiva marknadshypotesen och dess grundantagande om att priset på en tillgång är en återspegling av all, för marknaden, tillgänglig information. MetodGenom att genomföra en eventstudie där olje- och petroleumindexet DJ-AIGP studeras under orkanperioder undersöker vi om det under dessa perioder existerar abnormala avkastningar. Eventuella abnormala avkastningar söker vi statistiskt förklara med de stormvariabler som rapporteras av NHC.

This thesis is about developing a design that provides improved vacuum seal between a lead coating and a plastic coating during plastic extrusion processes of cables. This report is a part of the course MSGC 17 for Bachelor Engineers in mechanical engineering.The work is performed at Nexans Norway AS in Halden where they have a production of high voltage cables for sea-, and offshore industry. A problem they face is that they do not get enough good seal at the attachment to the plastic extrusion machine. They want to achieve a vacuum between a lead coating on the cable and a plastic coating of the cable for plastic extrusion, which is something they do not achieve today. The thesis is thus to come up with a design that provides better sealing against the cable.The work involves a construction part with the phases of product development processes.

Bakgrund: Fysioterapeuter arbetar traditionellt med redan inträffade skador i syfte att återfå funktion och minska smärta. Inom idrottslag arbetar dock fysioterapeuter ofta skadeförebyggande. Marklyft är en tävlingsgren inom styrkelyft men används även ofta inom andra idrotter för såväl prestationsökande och skadeförebyggande syfte. Marklyft utförs ofta med stora belastningar som är påfrestande för greppet och för att klara av de stora belastningarna använder sig många av ett mixat grepp. Det är idag okänt hur ett mixat grepp påverkar symmetrin vid utförandet av ett marklyft.Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka om det uppstod skillnader vad gäller asymmetriska rörelser i form av förskjutning av Center of pressure (CoP) vid ett mixat grepp jämfört med pronerat under ett marklyft.Metod: Åtta erfarna manliga styrkelyftare deltog i denna studie.

Vårdcentraler har under de senaste 15 åren anställt kuratorer psykologer och psykoterapeuter som kan erbjuda samtalsbehandling. Vid utvärdering av samtalen visar resultaten friskare patienter som bidrar till lägre vårdkostnader. Biologiska, psykologiska och sociala funktionerna blir centrala i mötet med patienten och hur dessa funktioner påverkar beskrivningen av problemet men också effekten utifrån funktionsnivå i relation till närstående. Vårdcentralen är första linjens vårdgivare från mödra- till äldrevård. Då förändring sker hos patienten påverkas helheten/nätverket.

The purpose of this paper is to create increased understanding of how pupils learn statistics. This includes gaining insight into pupils' use of their own experience and group experience to help to get a better understanding of statistical problem solving. The study's research questions are about how pupils learn to work with data in tables and diagram and how pupils learn to work with measures.The theoretical framework consists of two approaches to studying learning. One approach is based on pupils? cognitive conditions, called set-befores, and the pupils' previous experiences, called met-befores.

In this thesis, a case study of Kungens Kurva in Stockholm is made. The municipality of Huddinge has designated the area, which is an external shopping-Center, as one of its key development areas in the future. The municipality has established a future vision for the area, which extends until 2030. The vision claims, inter alia, that Kungens Kurva along with Skärholmen will become a vibrant suburb. How well the values and aims of the vision are met in the current area situation is discussed in the case study by a number of analysis that carries out the existing structures and characters of the area.

Background: In 1994 came the general prescription law in force for the district nurses with specific training in pharmacology and pathology in Sweden. According to The National Board of Health and Welfare from 2004 follow-up of the use of the prescription law revealed that nearly half of the district nurses used their prescription once a week. According to previous research the district nurses and patients were positive to the district nurses administration of prescriptions. Doctors, contrariwise, were not as favorable to the district nurses administration of prescriptions. The responsibility of the heads of the health Centers is to promote the district nurses to prescribe and make sure that it works in a satisfactory manner.

The essay deals with the hill-fort on the mountain Halleberg, Sweden, its wall design, functionality, dating and its possible function as a central location and a place of worship of the ancestors.The Halleberg hill-fort consists of a 1500 meters long at times cohesive stonewalls which together blocked the mountain from its surroundings. Hallberg's natural vertical scree and cliffs along with the masonry blocked the whole mountain from the surroundings.The hill-forts, with few exceptions are largely not investigated archaeologically and its functionality and role in the ancient society is based on outdated research on the subject. The current archaeological interpretation is that hill-forts served as temporary defense in times of unrest or served as Center of power for a social elite. The prevailing view in the archaeological sphere is that the hill-forts had a variety of functions and that its functionality and role in ancient society has varied.Halleberg´s strongest wall sections are at the mountain's south-eastern part where the natural driveway, Storgårdsklev is located. Along with the massive masonry of the walls in Bokedalen Storgårdsklev functioned as the hill-forts main entrance.

SammanfattningSister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute i Minneapolis är en sjukhusinstitution, känd för sin innovativa rehabiliteringsteknik och sjukhusutrustning sedan långt tillbaka i tiden.Projektet för det här examensarbetet utfördes inom Sister Kenny Research Center, forskningscentret för institutet. Det som öppnade upp för projektet var en vilja att göra en ny, radikal innovation inom området dynamiska ortoser. Fokuset låg på människor som drabbats av stroke, och därför fått en halvsidesförlamning i ena handen.Lösningar med drag-system för att räta ut handens fingrar kunde hittas i befintliga ortoser för denna grupp människor. I likhet med de dragsystem som tillämpas i annan utrustning inom sjukhusmiljön var dessa generellt klumpiga och inte särskilt funktionella.Målet blev därför att skapa en bättre ortos som kunde möjliggöra en längre användningstid, och ett användande i miljöer utanför sjukhuset.Ett kliniskt innovationsteam skapades, för att ta fram nya koncept, och för att garantera att både användarens och konsumentens röst blev hörd mitt i innovationsprocessen.Bakgrundsstudier, observationer och intervjuer utfördes för att reda ut var de verkliga problemen låg, och för att separera det nya konceptet från existerande.Genom användandet av diverse kreativa verktyg tog teamet fram fem koncept. På ett av dessa utvecklade de finger-element, transmission och reglage-delar, som skulle utgöra en mer skonsam och användarvänlig ortos.Resultatet av projektet blev en ?sen-härmande? ortos gjord av resårband, knutna till olika delar av fingret.

The harbour in Arvika is closed down and the industry that has been established in the area is now beeing wound up. A deepened comprehensive plan for the area is under progress in the municipality. The intentions are for instance that the harbour should be integrated with the city and that Arvika is facing a lake should be more apparent from the city Center. The harbour should also contribute to a more attractive city. These intentions have hence been the starting point of my undergraduate theses, which has resulted in a proposal on how to develop the harbour. During the process I have analysed the city image, how the area is used today and the public places in the city centre.

This study was conducted in the Master program at The Music Pedagogical Center (MPC) at The Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Korta musikresor (Short Music Journeys) is the Swedish term used for a receptive method of music therapy adapted from the tradition of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (BMGIM) and the theory and practice of Expressive Arts Therapy. The KMR method uses carefully selected short pieces of music, lasting between 2 and 5 minutes, to work on various psychological problems and life- crises. The music session is conducted in a slightly altered state of consciousness with a clear focus being established beforehand in a verbal dialogue with the psychotherapist. There is also the possibility of using artwork to process and explore the imagery after the music listening.
