The radio is a medium we often listen to whilst doing something else. We wake up, do the dishes, cook or drive to work. Radio as a medium reaches many people, regardless of whether it is through conscious or unconscious listening. We thereby thought it was an important medium to scrutinize in our study. The focus of our study is on the gender representation in P3 Nyheters broadcasts.

The aim of this study was to examine the experience, knowledge and attitude to mandatory reports of mistreatments amongst first line managers and assistance nurses in municipal elderly care. The following questions were at the Center of the analysis: how do the different professional groups view having to report their own organization? How can various factors affect the mandatory reporting of mistreatments? What knowledge do the different professional groups have of mistreatments and mandatory reporting? A qualitative research method was used to examine these questions in the form of semi structured interviews and a small document study. The interviews were carried out with assistance nurses and first line manages in elder care, we interviewed four respondents from both professional groups. The interviews were then transcribed and coded with help of a content analysis.

The manufacturing industry is currently in a short-term downturn while the competition is increasing. The result of this is that companies must find new ways to bring out their products. Traditional competitive strategies, such as low pricing, is not sufficient today as the customer is inquiring something more than just a good product. Higher demands are presented on an accurate, well functional, communication between customer and companies, as this has become an important strategic factor in achieving long-term profitability.The aim of this independent project was to analyze and evaluate the communication process between a company and its sales companies.In order to illustrate this process, a case study was carried out at Alfa Laval, their sales companies and employees at their distribution Center in Tumba. In order to see the differences in attitudes between the management, the sales companies and the employees regarding communication and involvement a gap analysis were used.The theoretical part of the study considers theories about business mission, communication, involvement, quality and creating value.The result showed that a smaller gap exists between the sales companies and the management while a slightly larger one exists between the employees and the management.

The starting point of this essay was the frustration I felt after having read the novel Nadja (1928) written by the French surrealist André Breton. The title promises the story of someone called Nadja but the promise stays unfulfilled. Recognition of this phenomenon, where a man writes a book about a woman, but the woman hardly is seen, made me want to examine it further.Using the theories of the French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan I analyze the relation between the male narrator and his female object. I also compare Nadja to a precursor: the novel Bruges-la-morte (1892) of the Belgian symbolist writer Georges Rodenbach. Their stories are, to a large degree, similar.

Bakgrund: Det finns olika konstellationer av samarbete kring specifika uppgifter för att uppnå någon form av definierat mål. I imaginära samarbeten skiljer sig samarbetsprocesserna från mer formaliserade samarbetsformer. Imaginära organisationer använder varandras resurser och unika kunskaper i samarbetet, för att uppnå ett gemensamt mål. Inom forskningsbyn Ideon finns ett nätverk av aktörer som samarbetar för att utveckla idéer från Lunds Universitet till färdiga företag. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att försöka beskriva samarbetet ? hur det ser ut, och förklara anledningen till samarbetet mellan aktörerna inom forskningsbyn Ideon som arbetar med företagsutveckling.

Med energieffektivisering menas att man använder energi på ett effektivt sätt som ska leda till en positiv inverkan på miljö och samhälle.Sisjö Entré är ett köpcentrum som har en årlig energiförbrukning på 1 865 270 kWh och bör enligt Energimyndighetens riktvärde ha en årlig förbrukning på 1 530 000 kWh, alltså en minskning med 18 %. Köpcentret består av 17 butiker och i examensarbetet undersöks fem butiker vilka är Toys ? Us, Rusta, Burger King, Babyproffsen och Webhallen. I dessa utförs mätningar på ventilation och belysning med syftet att studera vilka laster i butikerna som orsakar mest förbrukning. Målet är att komma fram till förslag på åtgärder för att minska energiförbrukning samt kostnader.Vi kom fram till att belysning är den största lasten i handelslokaler vilka är Toys ? Us, Rusta, Babyproffsen och Webhallen medan den största lasten i restauranger (Burger King) är utrustningen i köket som står för 75 % av restaurangens totala förbrukning.I Rusta upptäckte vi att elmätarna visade lägre värden än den verkliga förbrukningen.

The design regulations of Boverket (BKR) have long been the mandatory standard for construction design in Sweden. However from the end of the year 2010, the BKR will be replaced by the European standard Eurocode (EC). The transition to EC has been delayed and it is not until the second of May 2011 that the use of EC will be mandatory. Because EC and BKR differ from each other it is highly interesting to investigate and explain these differences.The purpose of the thesis is to compare the two standards and investigate how they give different results or not for the dimensioning of structures of steel with associated loads. The current project HVC (Pets Science Center) in Uppsala is used as a model for the design of the steel structure used in this study.

Swedish childcare has undergone radical changes in the last 15 to 20 years. It has evolved from kindergarten to pre-school, in other words, gone from simple childcare to an active learning environment with the child as the Center. Official documents, such as the pre-school curriculum and other guide documents, define the role and work ethics of the pre-school teacher. In my thesis I argue that it is essential to have an ongoing and continuous discussion at pre-schools on the practical applications of these frameworks and ambitious goals.What do you do when you simply cannot give every child the individual time they should have according to rules and regulations? How do you stay an active and present pedagogue in today?s pre-school with large classes and heavy workloads? How do you establish a common professional work ethics within a pre-school so that all children are treated equally? In my scientific essay, I examine these issues based on a real-life situation: Ellen in the hallway.A pedagogue must continuously make balanced decisions based on rules and regulations, on life- and work experience which, in many cases, contradict each other.

Detta arbete har varit ett examensarbete för högskoleingenjörsprogrammet i innovationsteknik och design vid Karlstads universitet.?Examensarbetet omfattade 22,5 högskolepoäng och har utförts av Andreas Holmén.?Handledare från Karlstads universitet var industridesigner och universitetsadjunkt Lennart Wihk och examinator var proffessor Fredrik Thuvander.Examensarbetet var en del av ett större projekt som involverade ytterligare fem studenter. Projektet var ett industrisamarbete mellan Karlstads universitet, Glava energy Center och företaget Värmestugan AB.Projektet är uppbyggt kring en idé om att kunna energieffektivisera uppvärmningen av tappvatten genom att kombinera solvärme- och värmepumpsteknik. Första fasen av projektet genomförde projektgruppen gemensamt, när gruppen enades om ett huvudkoncept fokuserades det på de enskilda problemformuleringarna för respektive examensarbete.Den del av projektet detta specifika arbete avsåg att lösa var vilka krav som var lämpliga för en funktionsprototyp med syftet att tilltala en investerare eller samarbetspartner. Men även hur man på bästa sätt kunde uppnå dessa krav inom tidsramen för projektet och med de resurser?som fanns tillgängliga.Uppgiften löstes genom att genomföra en research som sammanställdes med hjälp av en funktionsanalys och en semantisk analys till en kravspecifikation.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur förstagångsföräldrar samt flergångsföräldrar upplever föräldragrupperna i Dellenbygden (FID). Resultatet från de 19 intervjuerna visade att samtliga föräldrar var nöjda över att träffarna, anordnades. Alla respondenter beskrev att de hade fått information om FID men många upplevde den som otydlig. Förstagångsföräldrarna beskrev att de inte riktigt förstått innebörden av informationen som rörde FID, medan flergångsföräldrarna beskrev den som mer klar och tydlig. Förstagångsföräldrarna hade inga förväntningar av föräldragrupperna medan övervägande flergångsföräldrar hade vissa förväntningar.

My assignment was to design chairs for the café. In the beginning I had even thought about designing a table, but as time past I focussed more and more on the chairs.

Handling materials and packaging, which is the focus of this study, requires efficient logistics, both internally and between companies. To achieve an efficient material flow, good information systems, whose role is to collect, store, process and distribute information, are required. The assumption that packagings are handled in an efficient manner is currently not a matter of course, when many companies do not prioritize the internal management of the package.The purpose of this report was to investigate how medium-sized businesses working with distribution and handling of spare parts packaging can improve their internal management of packaging. In order to answer the purpose, we have used an abductive process and a qualitative data collection. The study had Logistic Center Ljungby (LCL) at Electrolux Laundry Systems (ELS) as a case company and two other respondents, Nibe in Markaryd and Enertech in Ljungby.

In 2022 Sweden held a national election where the results forced a coalitionconsisting of four parties to be created. The parties included were reachingfrom Center-liberal to the party furthest to the right in the parliament. Withpolitical differences in between each other the parties made an agreementcalled ?Tid?avtalet? to create a collective policy platform that should be livedup to in the following election term. The purpose of this paper is to observe,analyze and discover if any ideological changes occurred with theimplementation of the coalition.
