Säkerhet i smarttelefoner : En jämförelsestudie mellan bärbara datorer och smarttelefoner i verksamheter
Smartphones have become more common as business tools within the workplace. With its many features and great flexibility, the smartphone has stormed the business world and become an alternative or complement to the laptop. As these mobile units' popularity has increased, the interest of businesses to invest in this new technology has increased, but has security kept up with the technology developments?This study aims to conduct a study to see if the companies in the IT industry have the same safety awareness for smart phones to laptops.The study shows that companies have greater safety awareness and higher safety requirements for laptops than smartphones. Planering för havsnivåhöjningar - Fallstudier över Helsingborg kommun och Nacka kommun
Abstrakt
Denna studie är ett examensarbete i mastersprogrammet inom fysisk planering vid
Blekinge Tekniska Högskola. Studien handlar om vilka möjligheter det finns för
att planera bebyggelse i områden som riskerar att drabbas av översvämningar.
Examensarbetet belyser den problematik som finns gällande osäkerheten kring hur
mycket havsnivån stiger och hur kommunerna ska förhålla sig till det i sin
planering. Utifrån en fallstudie av två svenska kustkommuner, Helsingborg och
Nacka, belyses deras strategier och åtgärder för att hanterar den osäkerhet
kring stigande havsnivåer genom fysisk planering. I fallstudien diskuteras två
planeringstjänstemäns syn på den egna kommunens hantering av
översvämningsrisken och vilken kunskap de besitter om den aktuella frågan.
Willingness-to-Support
The purpose of this thesis is to define and theorise willingness-to-support as a possible measurement of corporate reputation. The knowledge production in this thesis is done through reasoning with companies to gain a deeper understanding of the social world and the respondents? view of their reality. Grounded theory is used as an inspiration for conducting the research. A qualitative method is used in the form of semi-structured interviews with six companies in three different business sectors.

The thesis has as purpose to describe and analyse a decision made be the Swedish tax committee in which it was decided that a cooperative economical associations selling price, which was less than the comparable public bonds market price, would be the focus of a withdrawal tax. There are exceptions from a withdrawal tax, that is if the transaction has a business motivation. However the concept, business motivation, is narrowly interpreted both in the preparatory works and in case law, which makes it irrelevant to the situation at hand. These types of associations have as purpose to increase their owners wealth with the benefit of freedom from personal responsibility.

We have been able to draw some conclusions based on our research. First we haveconsidered that the publisher is dependent on a large network and to work closelywith their customers. We can see that the competition in the music industry hasgenerally increased, the technological progress has created new opportunities, and asa result of this, new players have joined the music industry. We have been able todraw conclusions in the fact that more companies and songwriters start up their ownpublishing company, resulting in an increased competition for the individualpublisher.We can also see as a final result that music is used in lots of different contexts andthat the publishers thereby are offered a wide range of business opportunities, but thatthe solvency of the customers has become lower. With this knowledge, we canconclude that the publisher?s power and revenues will increase, and that the publisheras an actor has been given a more important role in the industry.

Title: Artists? identity and image ? a brand perspective The purpose of this study has been to create an understanding of how artists in the music business can be seen as brands and to see what stands out when having this approach. During the study we have focused on the two terms identity and image. We find this issue interesting and relevant since branding has been widely discussed in business economy, but not enough when it comes to artists in the music business. To answer our research question we have targeted three aims for this essay, which is to clarify and analyze:? Identity and image when people are viewed as brands? What specifically characterizes the image of the artists when they are seen as brands and what it might mean that artists are considered as brands? How artists identity and image can be highlighted, shaped, influenced and how it can changeIn this study we have used a qualitative approach to get the topic in depth and gain a greater understanding for the subject.

This thesis explores how the city of Gothenburg integrates and use social capital, defined through factors such as trust and cooperative networks, in its crisis preparedness strategies and how this can enhance the city's collective resilience. The study aims to contribute to the understanding of how social capital can be leveraged to strengthen crisis management and resilience in urban environments. The research analyzes existing quantitative data from the SOM-Institute regarding residents perceptions and self-reported preparedness actions and reviews Gothenburg's official civil defense plan for 2024?2027. By examining various aspects of social capital, including levels of trust and cooperative networks across different city districts and age groups, the analysis focuses on how social bonds and community contexts are considered in planning for handling and recovering from potential crises.
Kommunikation i kulturens tjänst : En kvalitativ studie om Umeå kommuns kommunikationsarbete under kulturhuvudstadsåret 2014
Purpose/aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine if, and in that case how, the municipality of Umeå worked strategically with its communication during 2014 when Umeå was chosen as ?European Capital of Culture?. The research is mainly focused on the outlines of their communication plan, main goals, what communication strategies the municipality has chosen to and their choice of media channels.Material/method: Two methods are used for this research; qualitative interviews with four employees within the communication team during Umeå2014 and a text analysis of three formal documents which provide the framework of communication policies and media strategies during Umeå2014.Results: The results clearly indicate a well structured, strategic planning outlined in the formal documents. The four people intreviewed all had a good knowledge of the policies and strategies in the documents, they also described their work in accordance with these..
Ljud i staden -en fallstudie av upplevd ljudkvalitét
Detta arbete utgår ifrån en enighet i forskningen om att mätningar av ljud inte
är tillräckligt för att bestämma ljudlandskapets kvalitet. Enligt EU direktivet
2002/49/EG som senare skrivits in i miljöbalken, ska varje kommun eller tätort
med mer än 100 000 invånare framställa bullerkartor som i sin tur ska användas
som underlag i ett åtgärdsprogram. Direktivets syfte är att informera
politiker, medborgare och planerare i buller frågan i den givna tätorten.
Forskning tyder dock på att allmänheten och icke specialister har svårt att
tyda bullerkartorna och att gemene man inte har någon referens till de
mätnivåer som presenteras. I arbetet presenteras en översikt av teorier och
begrepp som behandlar ämnet ljudlandskap (soundscape) och koncept och metoder
som tillhör detta begrepp.

This bachelor thesis is about illustrating the fundamental principles for planning, locatingand designing bicycle parking spaces. The study aims to give an understanding of theneed and demand for bicycle parking spaces today, as well as to determine how these canbe met according to different theories. The study also aims to investigate the issue withincorrectly parked bicycles, which occurs frequently in the cityscape and therefore createsan obstacle in street spaces.An observational study on the new bicycle lots along Götgatan was conducted in orderto analyze how the theories of bicycle parking spaces are applied in practice. Cyclistswere then interviewed in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the cyclists? revealedpreferences.

The purpose with this study was to elucidate the pros and the cons with a sale support system. This has been narrowed down into two questions: ?What are the pros and cons for a company that have a sale support system? and what are the pros and cons for a company that does not yet have a system?? Configurator that is a sale support system has been studied. It is a system that presents products by accepting different functions, qualities or parts that are possible to match. It can be used in business-to-business or business-to-consumer situations, through different sale channels, namely direct sale, indirect sale and online sale.
