Business Intelligence : Omvärldsbevakningsfunktionen i teori och praktik
I en allt starkare och påtagligare konkurrens är det viktigt för organisationer att få tillgång till väsentlig och korrekt information. Således ligger det en stor vikt vid att kunna urskilja sanningshalten i informationen för att de ska kunna ta väl underbyggda beslut. Av den orsaken har allt fler organisationer börjat implementera en enhet som samlar in, analyserar och sprider informationen. Denna enhet brukar betecknas som omvärldsbevakningsfunktion eller Business Intelligencefunktion. Syftet med uppsatsen är därför att se i vilken utsträckning konkurrensutsatta organisationer uppfyller kriterierna i vår teoretiska syntes för en väl fungerande omvärldsbevakningsfunktion.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the possibilities for creating a national interlibraryloan system in Sweden and to see how it could be integrated into an international network .The methods used are both qualitative and quantitative. We have sent inquiries to a numberof libraries and we have interviewed keypersons in the interlibrary loan field in Sweden.We have reached the conclusion that in spite of several impediments there is a lot that speaksfor a Swedish national interlibrary loan system in the near future. E-handel med Kläder - en marknadsundersökning
ABSTRACT
Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to examine and explain which consumers
who choose to, or not choose to, shop for clothes via Internet. This will give
businesses, and the reader, a better understanding on the views, of customers,
on E-business with clothes.
Procedure: A quantitative market research has been performed through a survey.
Also the gathering of the material and the analysis is done with quantitative
methods. The primary sources dominate the thesis.
Conclusion: The Swedish consumers with experience from buying clothes online
have a high level of satisfaction and 96 % will consider doing it again. 85 %
have done it more than once.
Konstruktion av förstärkare och insamplingssteg till en PSAADC i 0.25 um CMOS
The aim and goal of this work has been to design and implement a voltage reference network for a 12-bit PSAADC, Parallell Successive Analog to Digital Converter. A chip containing the design has been sent away for fabrication. Because of the long processing time, no measurement data are presented. The main specifications for the voltage reference generator is to generate stable reference voltages with low noise and a good PSRR. Efforts has also been made to minimize the power consumption..
Från isolering mot samverkan? - En deskriptiv studie av lokalt näringslivsfrämjande i Stockholms län
The acts of promoting local business and implementing efforts to appear as an attractive location for potential business are rather new activities among Swedish municipalities. The knowledge about how these activities are organised and what strategies are perused are fairly limited. In addition the structures concerning cooperation between municipalities for economic policies contain incentives both for and against cooperation. This creates a complicated situation. Using prior research mainly done by Markus Gossas, Lennart J Lundqvist and an analytical model designed by Jon Pierre, which in this essay is completed with the works of Roger Henning, these issues are addressed.

Purpose: Our purpose with the bachelor thesis was to investigate if there is a
connection between communication of and around internal performance reports and
profitability in companies.
Method: Our investigation has been made at seven companies in the county of
Blekinge by making personal interviews with people in both production and
business departments at each of the companies.
Result: We have come to the conclusion that there is a connection between
communication of and around internal performance reports and profitability.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and identify a selected number of key factors in successfully implementing open innovation. More precisely, it looks at how value is maximized using open innovation practices. The scientific approach taken is based largely on the network perspective, which puts relations to other companies in focus. An extended view of the resource based view (RBV), different from the traditional one by taking also external resources into account, is in addition central to understanding the use of external resources to create internal value. The two main research questions strive to look at how the company locates relevant partners and what the relations that are established with these partners should look like to get the most of open innovation.

Purpose: Create a understanding for how the users on Internet pages experience
the occurrence and the shape of the banners.
Method: Methods used are quantitative and qualitative, and the facts and
figures are based on a pop up inquiry and some telephoneinterviews. I elected
pop up inquiry and telephoneinterview as my data collection. My inquiry had a
high grade of standardization and the interviews had a low grade of
standardization.
Result: On the basis of the question of issue I have drawn the conclusion that
the users feels that it is important with information in all advertising. It is
also important for the users to create a value around the product. The users do
not have the time to figure out the message behind advertising, the want simple
and massive information about the product/service.

Idag skapas och lagras enorma mängder data, samtidigt som endast en liten del av datan analyseras och används. The study proceeds from a phenomenom called co-creation. If value can be created, it is logic to asume that it also can be destroyed. This phenomenom has earlier not been applied to long-term relationships such as business to business. In a business relationship it is important to identify factors, that leads to co-destruction, to be able to prevent them from appering. The purpose of this study is to identify which factors leads towards co-destruction.The study have used theories from Echeverri & Skålén (2011) which has designed a model explaning the outcome of co-creation and co-destruction.

This thesis deals with information provision to the knowledge intense biotechnology businesses of Ideon Science Park in Lund, Sweden. Previous research concerning the information needs of Science Park companies has been conducted from the information provider s perspective. Instead, we apply a user perspective to find out what information needs these companies have, and how they prefer to acquire information. Central terms are: information, -needs, -acquisition, -consciousness, -strategy, small and medium sized enterprises, scientists and engineers, information (resources) management, networks, tacit knowledge, knowledge transfer and innovative milieux. The companies need scientific and business information; the latter is easily obtained within Ideon.

I min metod har jag utgått ifrån en möbel och förbisett dess program för att vidga mitt sökfa?lt när jag har gjort om den. Our purpose in this paper is to examine if there is any profitability for a company with a factory in the timber industry to invest in a combined heat and power, CHP. Based on analysis and the results that the paper generates, we will give Derome AB a suggestion on how it is a profitable investment or not to installing in a CHP.By investing in a CHP plant, you can get a high efficiency, which means that companies can use their resources more effectively. The Swedish wood industry has by-products of production that can be used for combustion in their boiler which is an advantage.The essay is a qualitative study where we have a case company, Derome AB. In this company, we interviewed two employees who have knowledge in the study. They have helped us to provide information and data about their business.We chose to use the pay-off- and the net present value method, NPV, to see if there are profitable advantages for the investment.
