Kvalitetssäkring av markberednings- och planteringsuppföljning hos SCA Skog AB Jämtlands skogsförvaltning :
Quality assurance means to systematically work for better understanding of the customers needs, demands and expectations. The goal for this study was to investigate how quality can be assured in the job follow up that is made by forestry contractors after soil scarification and planting. The study consisted of a description over the current follow up process at SCA forest AB Jämtlands forest administration, analysis of current follow up situation and an investigation of follow up process made by contractors in other line of business.
The first step was a statistical comparison where the own follow up made by contractors were compared with follow up made by SCA them selves over 100 stands. Two soil scarification contractors and two planting contractors carried out the silvicultural measures. The results showed that significant differences between a number of quality factors measured, for example number of approved plants or approved scarification points, average score on stand and number of totally planted plants.

ABSTRACT
This essay is about traffic analysis of Web servers. The purpose is to
investigate if companies analyse the traffic on the Web server and if they use
this information to create more than simple statistic reports. The questions
that we will answer are the following:
? How common is traffic analysis on the Web server among companies?
? Is the Web administrator limited in analysing the Web traffic, if the company
has the website on a Web hotel?
? Does the company uses the results they get from analysing the traffic on the
Web server for updates and changes on the Web page?
To answer these questions we made a questionnaire investigation by telephone
interviewing the companies? webmasters. The extent of the investigation was 20
companies in Blekinge.
The information we gathered from the investigation showed that it is becoming
more common that companies analyse the traffic on the Web page and that they
uses the information to more than statistic reports, for example updates and
changes of the Web page.

AbstractIn 1998 the United Nations held a diplomatic conference on the establishment of an International Criminal Court in Rome. In the end of the conference the negotiating states adopted the Rome Statute by which an international criminal court was established. The court, which entered into force on 1 July 2002, has jurisdiction over the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The court also has jurisdiction over the crimes of aggression but the court will only be able to exercise its jurisdiction of this crime category when the member states of the court have found a definition of the crime.In the draft statute, which was prepared before the conference, acts of terrorism were a proposed crime. With the starting-point in the Rome conference this essay studies how the working-definition of crimes of terrorism was elaborated in the draft statute and how the state delegations viewed the crime.

Therefore this thesis will look at two different situations, the Structural Funds and the establishment of Ikea in Norrbotten, to try to find out if and how these two situations affect the intention among potential entrepreneurs to engage in entrepreneurial behaviour. Method: A qualitative method is used, since this thesis aims at getting an understanding of a specific phenomena; the intention to entrepreneurial behaviour.
En ledarutvecklingskurs utvärderas
Purpose:
To evaluate the management development course held at FöreningsSparbanken in
Ronneby during 2000. The evaluation aims to map and describe what effects the
course has had on the participants. We will assess to what degree the effects
meets the objectives of the course set by the manager of the bank (future
management recruitment, leadership, change catalyst, aligning the strive
towards a shared organisational objective). Above mentioned also implies that
the organisation should be influenced in some regards.
Conclusion:
Our conclusion is that all of the participants have as a result of the course
increased their emotional intelligence in varying levels. We also conclude that
the course participants? progress has not spread to the non-participants.
Hantering av verksamhetskrav : Utredning av hur hantering av verksamhetskrav från kunder kan förbättras på Saab Aerosystems
Saab Aerosystems have had one dominating product, JAS 39 Gripen, and one dominating customer, FMV, for a long time. The operations management system at Aerosystems is adjusted for development of Gripen and as the business unit is trying to enter new markets with other products and customer the operations needs to be adjusted to fit the development and manufacturing of these products as well.The purpose of the master thesis has been to investigate how Aerosystems is managing requirements on operations from external customers and how to make improvements within this area. The aim has been to carry out a situation analysis to identify where improvements are possible and then produce proposals for improvements through studies of literature and other business units. The thesis also include a study of knowledge transfer within the business unit to investigate how this can be applied to improve the managing of requirement on the operations.An extensive interview study has been carried out in which interviews mainly have been conducted with employees at Aerosystems, but also at Saab Avitronics and Saab Aerostructures. The reason why these business units have been examined is because they have carried out a large number of successful businesses with external customers, which also are potential customers for Aerosystems in the future.The interviews have been analysed to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the present way of working.

In the year of 2002 a new council regulation on community designs was implemented. In the beginning of the essay the legal situtation before the implementation is investigated and part of the purpose is to evaluate if it constitutes a solution to the problems with protection of fashion designs that existed then. Because fashion designs more or less were excluded from protection during the period before the implementation the fashion business developed a habit of unauthorized reproduction. This attitude among the market players is a central point of the essay. The essay starts off with a review of the earlier lack of possibilities regarding the protection of fashion designs.
Implementeringen av balanserade styrkort ? med avseende på information, dialog och delaktighet
Syfte: Att studera och analysera hur implementeringen av balanserat styrkort
går till i två verksamheter med avseende på information, dialog och delaktighet.
Metod: Vi har använt oss av semistandardiserade personliga intervjuer på
lednings-, facklig och individnivå, i två tillverkande företag. Det material
som vi erhållit ligger till grund för vår analys och våra slutsatser som vi har
arbetat med utifrån vår problemdiskussion.
Slutsatser: I de två tillverkande företagen vi studerade lades ingen vikt vid
delaktigheten hos de anställda vid införandet av balanserat styrkort. Bristen
på delaktighet skapade dålig eller ingen acceptans till förändringen. Detta i
sin tur minskade engagemanget och motivationen hos de anställda och resultatet
blev inte det ledningen förväntade sig.

Ever since its conceptual birth, the questioning of consequences due to the implementation of ideas from the reformation doctrine, called New Public Management, has been a common occurance among those who have dedicated themselves to research in superior methods of Public Administration. What this thesis aims to do is shed light upon what value-conflicts may occur within public administration organisations when they begin to idealize the rationalization of economic issues. The goal of this thesis will be fulfilled through the creation of two ideal types of public administration that exist in opposition to each other. These two ideal types will show two different views on how decision-making and organisation will be managed in their respective sectors. By doing this, there will be clarification as to what conflicting values arise with the implementation of ideas taken from New Public Management, as well as defining the fundamental difference between which ethical decision model is used..
Assessment of food retail business sustainability : the case of Konsum Värmland
Public concern and the need of responsible way of doing business have brought forward the issue of sustainability at the forefront of discussion in the last decade. Even though, food retailers are playing an important role in the economy, they are exposed for criticism by media and consumers for any socially and environmentally irresponsible business practices because, the potential environmental and social impacts from their operations are significant. These impacts need to be recognized and properly addressed. The main objective of this study was to assess the sustainable business management of a cooperative food retail business in Sweden, known as Konsum Värmland (KV). The necessary data and information on history and status of KV, and its practical activities concerning the implementation of sustainable development programs as well as the motivation and challenges encountered by KV during the implementation were gathered via reviewing different documents, research papers and press releases; interviewing decision makers and other personnel in KV and other researchers from Swedish University of Agricultural University who have investigated KV.
En jämförelse mellan materiella investeringar och investeringar i kompetensutveckling
Skillnaden i bedömning och uppföljning av kompetensutveckling och materiella
investeringar ligger i graden av kvantifierbarhet. Materiella investeringar som
maskiner, kan oftast bedömas och följas upp genom objektiva metoder, medan
kompetensutveckling kräver subjektiva metoder. I de företag vi studerat finns
en ambition att finna en mer objektiv metod för kompetensutveckling men det
anses ta för mycket resurser i anspråk relaterat till den nytta som eventuellt
skulle uppstå. En annan faktor som vi fann var att i den dynamiska miljö
företagen verkar är det inte motiverat att utvärdera kompetensutveckling
eftersom det anses vara en färskvara. Miljön företagen verkar i och själva
syftet med kompetensutvecklingen påverkar också om man ska anse
kompetensutveckling vara en investering eller inte.

In many countries, so called food banks are established in order to supply welfare organizations with this kind of food. Today there is no equivalent system existing in Sweden.
Algoritmisk handel - och dess fördelar för affärsbankerna
Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka fördelar det finns för affärsbanker
att använda sig utav handelsalgoritmer inom aktiehandel jämfört med manuell
handel. Genom att intervjua tre företag som verkar inom handel med värdepapper
skall jag försöka få svar på varför den algoritmiska handeln ökat och vilka
dess fördelar är gentemot manuell handel.
Undersökningen visar att en stor anledning till att företag ökar sin användning
av handelsalgoritmer inom sin aktiehandel är för att det är mer
kostnadseffektivt alternativ jämfört med manuell handel. Datorernas snabbhet
och möjlighet att överblicka flera marknader och tusentals värdepapper
samtidigt gör att affärsbankerna kan göra fler affärer jämfört med manuell
handel men med färre mäklare..
Kreditkort och påverkan - Om påverkansfaktorer som leder till konsumenters agerande
Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att lyfta fram hur säljare aktivt arbetar med
påverkansfaktorerna auktoritet och skrämsel vid försäljning av kreditkort och
på vilket sätt faktorerna skapar intresse hos kunder att skaffa ett kreditkort.
Vi vill även undersöka ifall vi kan se vilken av de två påverkansfaktorerna som
är mest effektiv vid kreditkortsförsäljning.
Metod: Undersökningen är baserad på en kvalitativ studie och vi har genomfört
intervjuer med fem duktiga säljare från de största bankerna.
Slutsats: Slutsatsen som studien har påvisat är att det finns tydliga
kopplingar mellan utvalda faktorer och kreditkortsförsäljning. Vår undersökning
visar även att det finns likheter i säljargumenten som skickliga säljare inom
kreditkortsbranschen använder och dessa argument har betydelse när kunder
påverkas..
