Vem bestämmer musiken? : En undersökning av en symfoniorkesters säsongsprogramsarbete
ABSTRACTThere is a limited possibility for many of the concert-goers to go behind the stage and follow the work process with putting together a program for the concert season in a concert institution. The purpose of this study is to describe a concert institution's work with developing a concert program for each season. This is done through a presentation of the factors affecting the work. This is a descriptive essay and a case study of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra. Interviews have been made with people directly involved in the work or affected by the outcome of the work process.
Från isolering mot samverkan? - En deskriptiv studie av lokalt näringslivsfrämjande i Stockholms län
The acts of promoting local business and implementing efforts to appear as an attractive location for potential business are rather new activities among Swedish municipalities. The knowledge about how these activities are organised and what strategies are perused are fairly limited. In addition the structures concerning cooperation between municipalities for economic policies contain incentives both for and against cooperation. This creates a complicated situation. Using prior research mainly done by Markus Gossas, Lennart J Lundqvist and an analytical model designed by Jon Pierre, which in this essay is completed with the works of Roger Henning, these issues are addressed.
Developing Dynamic Outsourcing - Bringing continuous added value to the ABB Full Service partnership
Executive summary This master thesis was originally based on a specific assignment given to the authors from ABB Full Service, a unit specializing in providing maintenance outsourcing: ?How can ABB Full Service expand its offering of providing fundamental maintenance by seamlessly incorporating the business concept with competencies and solutions from other ABB divisions?? The academic issue was developed throughout the thesis, resulting in the following formulation: ?From an organizational perspective; how can service providers bring continuous added value to intra-organizational outsourcing partnerships?? Many of the key findings of this thesis are reflected in the issue. The term intra-organizational outsourcing is a proposed addition to the terminology in the academic discourse on outsourcing. The definition of the term is: ? Where an organization outsources a business process interlinked with the physical operations, requiring the service provider to take over a preexisting unit and its employees.This is an accurate description of the form of outsourcing that ABB Full Service is engaged in.
LSD - Hallucination eller flödeseffektiv innovation
Increased competition in the IT industry has sparked a need for developing faster innovation processes with more predictable output. One of the biggest issues when it comes to achieving a faster flow through the innovation process lies in managing its high degree of variation. Proposing a solution to this problem, Lean Software Development (LSD), was developed to provide a framework for how IT companies should organize its software development process to achieve increased speed and quality. This study examines to which extent LSD, as a set of values, principles, methods and tools, can be used to improve flow efficiency in the innovation process. A case study of a multinational IT company was made by conducting ten semi-structured interviews with current employees.
Föreställningar om Lojalitet och Lönsamhet inom Business-to-Business
Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera hur samband mellan lojalitet och lönsamhet förhåller sig inom Business-to-Business, med utgångspunkt i respondenternas föreställningar av begreppen såväl som sambandet mellan dem.Mer specifikt studeras föreställningarna om sambandet hos företag som verkar gentemot industriella kunder i ett tjänstefierat sammanhang. De erbjuder kunden specialiserade kompetenser där det totala erbjudandet skapas i interaktion med kunden. Resultatet blir en helhetslösning av tjänster med en produkt i botten, anpassad efter kundens behov.Vi finner att sambandet mellan lojalitet och lönsamhet består av olika dimensioner, då vi finner att lojalitet är ett mångfacetterat begrepp såväl i teori som i det studerade sammanhanget, där innebörden av begreppet varierar mellan individ, organisation och bransch. Vi finner att leverantören fokuserar på de dimensioner av lojalitet som är påtagliga och därmed möjliga att verka utefter. Dessa beteenderelaterade dimensioner är även de som leder till lönsamhet.Vi har funnit ett fokus på de dimensioner av lojalitet vilka genom kundens beteende även kommunicerar kundens åsikter och värderingar.

Method: Our investigation has been made at seven companies in the county of
Blekinge by making personal interviews with people in both production and
business departments at each of the companies.
Result: We have come to the conclusion that there is a connection between
communication of and around internal performance reports and profitability.

Purpose: Create a understanding for how the users on Internet pages experience
the occurrence and the shape of the banners.
Method: Methods used are quantitative and qualitative, and the facts and
figures are based on a pop up inquiry and some telephoneinterviews. I elected
pop up inquiry and telephoneinterview as my data collection. My inquiry had a
high grade of standardization and the interviews had a low grade of
standardization.
Result: On the basis of the question of issue I have drawn the conclusion that
the users feels that it is important with information in all advertising. It is
also important for the users to create a value around the product. The users do
not have the time to figure out the message behind advertising, the want simple
and massive information about the product/service.

This report describes how the process has evolved during the creation of a new web page forthe company Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC. The design methods that have been used aredescribed and also how parts of the webpage have been created by using the design methodresults. Our reflections around design and functionality are explained and how usability hasbeen our main focus during the master thesis. We also describe how it has been to work withan external costumer and how the tasks constantly have changed and been added as theprocess has continued.The background to this work is that AB Scandinavian Travel Agent DMC need to improve theircurrent web page. This to give the clients better needed information about destinations, butalso to stand out in the competitive travel business.

The purpose of my study is to illumine the aesthetic learning process significant in the preschool. Focus has been on allowing educators in different preschools to answer questions valid the use of aesthetic learning processes. I chose to do my study using an opinion poll and a literature review. The result shows that the preschools use aesthetic learning processes and according to the educator?s aesthetic learning process is a very important tool for education in the preschool. The notable in this study is that the educators have different views of what aesthetic means. The first view is that you only work with aesthetic subjects.

Problem:
Det finns många tankar om organisationer och hur de ska styras. Förr handlade
det om att styra företagets olika resurser för att uppnå lönsamhet. I dag krävs
det mer av företagen och dess traditionella organisationsformer sätts på prov.
För att utvecklas och framförallt kunna konkurrera i den allt mer föränderliga
omgivningen krävs det att organisationerna är öppna för nya tankesätt. Det
pågår en övergång från traditionella organisationer till processorienterade
organisationer.
Big data : En studie om dess affärsnytta samt dess utmaningar och möjligheter, med fokus på detaljhandeln
Idag skapas och lagras enorma mängder data, samtidigt som endast en liten del av datan analyseras och används. Big data är ett begrepp som cirkulerat i flera år, men på senare år har det fått allt större innebörd. Allt fler företag börjar få upp ögonen för big data, samtidigt som få verkligen vet hur det ska användas. Vissa frågar sig till och med: finns det någon affärsnytta? Med fokus på detaljhandelsbranschen undersöker vi huruvida det finns en affärsnytta med big data, och framförallt vilka utmaningar och möjligheter som finns kopplade till det.

Återköp av aktier är tillåtet i Sverige sedan år 2000. Denna förändring i redovisningspraxis har uppkommit som ett led i en institutionell förändringsprocess. En sådan process är till stor del hänförlig till olika finansiella kriser. De senaste åren har alltmer makt förflyttats från staten till näringslivet, vilket möjliggjort förändringen i ABL. De två grupperna återköpande bolag respektive ej återköpande bolag uppvisar till stora delar tydliga skillnader i karaktäristika.
Värdelöst värdeskapande : En studie om co-destruction
The study proceeds from a phenomenom called co-creation. If value can be created, it is logic to asume that it also can be destroyed. This phenomenom has earlier not been applied to long-term relationships such as business to business. In a business relationship it is important to identify factors, that leads to co-destruction, to be able to prevent them from appering. The purpose of this study is to identify which factors leads towards co-destruction.The study have used theories from Echeverri & Skålén (2011) which has designed a model explaning the outcome of co-creation and co-destruction.

The purpose of this thesis is to get knowledge about how it is to work as a librarian at Gothenburg city library during a rebuilding process and during the time when they have worked in a temporary library so called niche library. Which part did they have in the renovation project and in the niche library? The aim is also to find out how the librarians have experienced their time in the niche library and if it has affected their profession and identity.The method that is used to answer questions of the study is semi-structured interviews with four public librarians. Through comparing previous research in building and rebuilding process I have analyzed the four public librarian?s part in the renovating process and the temporary library.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of the recruitment process and its complexity. The study also aims to examine whether there are any problem areas with a recruitment process which is emotionally based and if so, how these can be resolved. Four issues have been presented, in regard to solving the study?s purpose and problem definition.Theoretical framework: The chapter begins by briefly illustrate the concept of employee turnover and the economic aspects a staff turnover can bring. Thereafter, the importance of a formal preparatory work for recruitment is presented.
