The purpose of this essay is to examine if the municipality has a real freedom of action to control the use of the land and the shaping of the buildings in a large and prestigious building project.In Karlstad there is now (2006) a large building project in form of a shopping mall. This project is in its final stage of completion and offers me a suitable case to examine. To undertake the purpose of the essay, the following research question is formulated:Do the municipality have a real freedom of action to control the use of the land and the shaping of the buildings in a large and prestigious building project as the Mitt I City project?In an attempt to examine the project and the planning process, three themes are applied. The first theme derives from the hypothesis that the part that initiate the process gets the upper hand as future discussions are taking place in relation to the original ideas.

The municipality of Enköping is presently working out a new layout plan for the town of Enköping and new residences are planned in the harbour area. Because of these plans, the municipal energy company ENA Energi may have to move its location from the harbour to another part of the city.The aim of this degree project is to investigate the possibility of building a new CHP plant in another area of Enköping. The future demand on district heating and infrastructure at the new location have been projected. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how teachers view the way they build their relationships towards students, both in general and, more specifically, towards those students with some type of attention deficits. The focus of this thesis has been on how great an importance teachers place on this relationship. Especially when it comes to working with students with attention deficits. We also want to know to which extent this relational perspective is rooted in teachers' practice. The theoretical basis of this study is the relational perspective formulated by Aspelin and Persson (2011).

With rising energy prices and the threat of climate change, energy costs and energy savings havebecome a central and important part in building. Therefore it is interesting to explore different andnon-conventional methods of energy conservation. Building Earth sheltered houses is such a method.Earth provides good insulation and provides the ability to both reduce the total heating needs and toreduce the maximum power demand. The aim of this study was to construct a house in Malmö and seeif Earth sheltered houses can be a cost effective alternative for the construction of sustainable andenergy-efficient houses.Previous studies have shown that Earth sheltered houses have reduced their power requirement with upto 25% and their use of energy with 10%. Syftet med vår undersökning var att ta reda på hur läraren och eleverna ser på användandet av laborativt material i förskoleklassens matematikundervisning. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av observationer och intervjuer av tre lärare och nio elever i samma kommun. Resultatet visar att lärarna och eleverna ser olika på användandet av laborativt material. Lärarna förhåller sig positiva till användandet och menar att de alltid har stöd av laborativt material i undervisningen. Eleverna däremot visar en osäkerhet kring syftet med användandet av materialen och har svårt att se det matematiska innehållet..

Previous research shows no clear guidelineson how companies can work in social media to prevent crises.Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how companiesin the communications industry can work with Facebook to prevent crises.We hope that our study can provide new perspectives and guidance on howcompanies can work with emergency communication for prevention.Methodology: We used a qualitative research to arrive at our results. Thismeant we got an insight into the complex world that companies are workingin.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka vad tre klasslärare för årskurs 1-3 anser om laborativt material i matematikundervisningen och hur de själva arbetar med detta i sin egen matematikundervisning. Detta undersöktes med hjälp av en kvalitativ studie med intervjuer och observationer. Observationerna användes för att se om det som lärarna ansåg om laborativt material speglades i deras undervisning. Med intervjuerna kunde vi ta reda på vad lärarna ansåg att det kan finnas för möjligheter och hinder med användandet av laborativt material i matematikundervisningen. Resultatet visar att lärarna överlag är positiva till användandet av laborativt material.
