This is an examination that investigates how parental guidebooks advise parents on how to solve conflicts between them and their children. The main purpose of this essay is to examine what these parental guidebooks say about rebuke. The following four questions will help to answer the main investigation. These questions are:What do different parental guidebooks write about rebuke?What do parental guidebooks consider to be the goal of rebuke?Which are the consequences of rebuke according to the parental guidebooks?Are there any clear patterns and connections that can be shown?To find an answer to these four questions, I have used eight parental guidebooks.

The purpose of this examination is to get a view of the attitude towards internet-use within after school centers. By comparing the views of pupils with the teacher?s point of view, one can notice differences that may be due to a lack of knowledge or communication. The questions are: What view does the principal, the staff, and the pupils have on internet-use in after school centers? Does their view differ? If so, how? To be able to respond to these questions, the pupils and the staff have been handed surveys and the principal has been interviewed.

AbstractThis essay discusses the negotiation of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) and the process that led up to a signed agreement. The CTBT forbids all nuclear weapon test explosions and all other types of nuclear explosions. The purpose of the study was to distinguish the critical steps of the negotiations that resulted in the success of the CTBT. Based on these insights, my intention was to identify relevant events and actors in the process around the Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty (FMCT), which has been on the nuclear disarmament agenda for over a decade. Furthermore, my ambition was that the examination of the CTBT negotiation would give me some clarity in what the next step would be to get the FMCT back on track.

För att alla kvinnor ska självundersöka brösten och gå på erbjuden mammografi är kunskap om bröstcancer en god förutsättning.SyfteSyftet med denna forskningsstudie var att undersöka kvinnors kunskap om bröstcancer och självundersökning av brösten. Syftet var också att undersöka huruvida sådan kunskap skiljer sig mellan kvinnor i och utanför det nationella screeningsprogrammet för bröstcancer samt huruvida det finns en skillnad i förekomst av självundersökning. Hänsyn togs även till de eventuella faktorer i kvinnornas bakgrund och vanor som kan ha en inverkan på resultatet.MetodEn empirisk studie med kvantitativ ansats.

The purpose of this study was to illuminate the patient?s experiences in connection to MRI, and to describe the patients needs for information and treatment.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to examine how the religious education is implemented in junior and grammar school. As a base for my examination I used two private schools and two municipal schools. My main goal was to get a better view of the content of the education, the treatment of the students and the conditions for the students to get a greater understanding and respect for others? religious beliefs and opinions through education. To reach this goal I did interviews and field studies which means that the paper has a qualitative approach.The examination showed clearly that the private schools spend a lot more education time on their respective religions while the municipal schools have a more comprehensive education.

In three areas in the province of Småland studies has been done to investigate how big damage the moose may do to P. abies. An inquiry examination and two different types of surveys were done to find out how big area, which volume and which financial consequences the moose debarking has had on the forest. When the volume was calculated the rot spreading was included. The area that was damaged was stipulated with the answers from the inquiry examination. 59 % of the asked forest owners answered the inquiry.

Forskning har visat att fysisk aktivitet ger en bättre prognos för kvinnor som drabbats av bröstcancer. Den beskrivs också ha betydelse för symtomlindring vid cytostatikarelaterade biverkningar, vilket i sin tur leder till ökad livskvalité hos dessa kvinnor. Det har även framkommit i studier att det råder brister inom sjukvården vad gäller att förmedla sådan information. Som ett första steg behövs en kartläggning av den fysiska aktiviteten hos kvinnor med bröstcancer, deras aktivitetsvanor och vilken betydelse fysisk aktivitet har för dem under pågående cytostatikabehandling. Denna studie genomfördes som en tvärsnittstudie med syftet att beskriva fysisk aktivitet hos kvinnor med bröstcancer som genomgår adjuvant cytostatikabehandling.

This paper examines how teachers and librarians are helping children and young people withdyslexia/reading and writing difficulties. The examination has taken place in a small municipalityin Skaraborg County. Seven teachers in the municipal schools and the chief librarian inthe municipal library have been interviewed as well as an advising county librarian.In the municipal schools the pupils have access to literature in easy language and computerswith programs training reading, writing and spelling. In some schools there are textbooks ontape too. In the municipal library and in the county library disabled readers can loan literatureon tape and literature in easy language.The conclusion of the examination is that children and young people with dyslexia/readingand writing difficulties need all sorts of aids in reading and writing.

Dysfunction of the upper respiratory tract is a common cause of impaired performance and intolerance to exercise in racehorses and include several upper airway obstructions. The ones termed dynamic obstructions are primarily seen during physical exertion and affected horses often appear to be normal during endoscope examination at rest. The correlation between diagnoses made at rest respectively exercise is low, suggesting that an examination at rest alone is likely to be insufficient. The upper respiratory tract is exposed to great differences in pressure throughout the respiratory cycle; variations that are further altered during strenuous exercise and affect the rigidity of upper airway structures. In presence of great fluctuations in pressure, stability is achieved through coordinated and synchronous neuromuscular mechanisms. Due to nerve damage or anatomical abnormalities, these functions may be disrupted and further cause a dynamic collapse of the upper respiratory tract when pressure changes become too severe. The etiology behind the neuromuscular dysfunction is not yet fully understood.

Bakgrund: Bröstcancer är den främsta cancerformen hos kvinnor världen över. Kirurgi är den viktigaste behandlingen vid bröstcancer och innebär att antingen delar av bröstet eller hela bröstet avlägsnas. Till följd av kirurgin kan kvinnorna antingen välja att rekonstruera sitt bröst eller använda en protes. Många kvinnor beskriver en förändrad kroppsuppfattning efter bröstoperationerna.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa kvinnors upplevelser av sin kroppsuppfattning och dess inverkan på vardagen efter bröstoperation till följd av bröstcancer.Metod: Tolv kvalitativa artiklar valdes ut, sammanställdes och analyserades enligt kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Sökningen av artiklarna genomfördes i CINAHL, PubMed och PsycINFO.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och jämföra hur tre socionom-, lärar-, och läkarprogram konkretiserarExamensordningens (Högskoleförordning 1993:100, bilaga 2) krav att studenten för examenmåste ?visa självkännedom och empatisk förmåga?. Frågan ställs också hur dessa egenskaperformuleras som fasta eller utvecklingsbara hos studenterna. Genom att kvalitativt analyseradokument från utbildningarna (utbildningsplaner, kursplaner och relevanta styrdokument) drasslutsatsen att metoderna för att kontrollera och sättet att se på studenternas självkännedom ochempatiska förmåga har väldigt olika karaktär, först och främst hos de olika utbildningarna, men ävenhos olika lärosäten. Läkarprogrammen har ofta en tydlig bedömning och progression;socionomprogrammen en tydlig tanke om utveckling genom relation; och lärarprogrammen vagaformuleringar men en tydlig kontroll av studenterna genom verksamhetsförlagd utbildning.

BakgrundForskning har visat att Mindfulness-baserade program har positiv inverkan på olika sjukdomar i samband med traditionell behandling. Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) bidrar till snabbare tillfrisknande, minskad stress och ökad livskvalitet (Ludwig & Kabat-Zinn, 2008). Enligt Baer, (2003) uttrycker kvinnor ett behov av komplement till den vanliga bröstcancerbehandlingen. En av de vanligaste komplementmetoderna som används är MBSR ? åttaveckorsprogrammet. SyfteSyftet var att belysa betydelsen av mindfulness och Mindfulnss-based stress reduction i anslutning till behandlingen av kvinnor med bröstcancer.  MetodLitteraturöversikt var den metod som skapar överblick över ett ämne.

The aim of this study was to describe how persons with Whiplash associated disorder experience how the pain affects them in their daily life. The design of the study was descriptive with qualitative, individual interviews, questionnaire with background facts of the examination group, and diary notes from persons with pain of WAD. Method for selection was convenience. Through contact with the association of whiplash group in a county in middle of Sweden, the majority of the examination group for the study was found. Five persons where given information about the study, one of them choose not to take part of the study, and one of the persons did not complete the study.
