Hur ser chefer på generationsväxlingen - En kvalitativ studie om arbetet inom Landstinget Blekinge

Syfte: Syftet med vår uppsats är att ta reda på hur Landstinget Blekinge arbetar med den generationsväxling som pågår och det svaga intresset hos den yngre generationen samt hur det faktiska arbetet med att vara en attraktiv arbetsgivare ser ut, både inom och utanför organisationen, för att undvika en brist på arbetskraft. Vidare vill vi även undersöka om den bild teorier framställer av den nya generationen skiljer sig mot uppfattningen som chefer inom Landstinget Blekinges har. Syftet är också att se hur väl Landstinget Blekinge arbetar med att bli en attraktiv arbetsgivare i jämförelse med SKL:s bild och därmed bidra till ökad medvetenhet kring arbetet med generationsväxlingen samt de utmaningar och svårigheter som kan finnas i samband med den. Metod: Undersökningen är baserad på en kvalitativ, abduktiv metod och semistrukturerade intervjuer med tre personalchefer, en förvaltningschef samt kommunikationsdirektören inom Landstinget Blekinge. Resultat: Våra resultat visar att Landstinget Blekinge har en skriftlig varumärkesstrategi för vad som behöver göras. För att lyckas attrahera den yngre generationen behöver de dock vidta ytterligare åtgärder för att lansera sin strategiska plan och börja det egentliga arbetet med employer branding om de vill bli en attraktiv arbetsgivare för den yngre generationen..

Konkurrensstrategier : En studie om konkurrensen på den svenska kontaktlinsmarknaden

Title: Strategies for competition ? a study of the Swedish contact lenses market.Authors: Pernilla AArskog and Annika Lange.Background: As a market gets more mature and the competition increases, it is more important for a company to apply the right strategic perspective. There are four fundamental strategic perspectives for a service-oriented business: a core product-, a price-, an image- and a service perspective. This study is a about service management and take its point from the theories from the Nordic School about strategies for competition, customer value, perceived customer quality and customer loyalty.Purpose: The main purpose with this study is to analyze and evaluate how the actors at the Swedish market of contact lenses should compete to gain further competitive advantages.Method: The study includes four qualitative interviews with two traditional opticians and two Internet based businesses, but also a survey with 106 contact lens users is included.Analysis: In the analyse part of this thesis it was concluded that the traditional opticians conception about their customer not agrees with what the customer evaluate as important. Many of the customers have thought about changing their optician, and besides that do not recommend their optician, and can there for not be categorize as loyal customers.

This work is meant to contribute to the research of adaptation studies by focusing on a special case: the transformation of a fictional diary into a movie. In order to sustain the form of the literary source the adaptation to movie requires certain strategies. Först of all, the diary genre is characterized by a one-dimensional narration. Second, diaries only supply a few written dialogues, hence this "void" has to be compensated and filled by media specific measures. Third, the investigated diary is a story of individualization and emancipation of a single woman.

Image repair-theory vid livsmedelskris : Textanalys av Findus kriskommunikation kring hästköttsskandalen

This study intends to use a text analysis and analyze Findus crisis communication, on their website, about the horse meat scandal in February and March 2013. The main focus is to examine if Findus crisis communication can be connected to Beniot?s image repair strategies and the rhetorical appeal forms, in five press releases and four blog posts, and also if they are different depending on the media format. The results show that Findus usually used three of the five image repair strategies and the three appeal forms (ethos, pathos and logos) interacted and therefore became Findus crisis communication consistent in all material. The intension with the thesis is to investigate how mass communication is adopted as a strategy to increase the membership activity within religious communions in Sweden. In the years past it has shown a decreased activity within religious communion, deliberate strategies have been missing and efforts on resources for less effective strategies have been made. The study has been carried out through a review of existing theory within the field of subject, communication within religious communion and the use of mass communication within religious communion. The Swedish church was chosen as a case, where three persons were interviewed. The result from this study shows that the Swedish church communication operates on several different levels: these are detached and self-determinate.

Socialiseringsprocessen i revisionsbyråer : En studie om skapandet av organisatoriskt engagemang

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to contribute with knowledge regarding the connection between the socialization process and the organizational commitment perceived by junior accountants. Based on Van Maanen and Schein's (1979) model, we intend to identify and describe how selected socialization strategies affect junior accountants? perceived affective, continuous and normative commitment during the initial five years in the firm.Research methodology: Semi-structured interview was chosen as the key approach for gathering essential data. Interviews were conducted at three major accounting firms with a total of eight interview participants. The study has a qualitative approach because of the ability to go in depth on the studied phenomenon.Conclusion: The socialization process consists of individual, informal, sequential, fixed, serial, and investiture strategies.

?Man vill ju inte slå på stora trumman? : -en kvalitativ intervjustudie om svenska klädföretags CSR-kommunikation

Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify how Swedish clothing companies strategically communicate CSR ? the issue being that CSR communication is frequently scrutinized and criticized. This is examined using semi-structured interviews with six company representatives. The result is presented thematically, dealing with (1) conditions for CSR and CSR communication, (2) how to manage the issue with criticism and (3) which communication strategies companies use. Following conclusions are drawn: the companies can be divided into Mirvis and Googins phases integrated or engaged/innovative, with conditions characterizing these phases.

The amount of cargo has since the 1970s increased in Sweden and the road traffic accounts for a large part of the transported volume. In Stockholm County the amount of cargo is calculated to be doubled in size from year 2001 to 2020 which means a greater need for transport is required. Much of these transports are being carried out by haulage companies of varying sizes which acts externally as carriers for their customers. All of this despite a greater awareness, laws and demands regarding environmental performance.The trend shows that the haulage industry in Sweden are moving towards fewer but larger haulage companies, which means that the competition is getting tougher for the smaller haulage companies. Smaller haulage companies and research about their competitive strategies is a neglected part of this industry.

The aim of this study is to understand which strategies helped women escape honourbased violence, by reading the autobiographies of seven women. Honourbased violence is a relatively new problem in Sweden, but it has existed for a long time. According to FN (2012) 5000 women are murdered every year in the name of honour. Honourbased violence is about maintaining the honour of the family. Womens sexuality is connected to men´s honour, and because of that they are not allowed to express it.

Konsten att behålla och värna om nyckelkompetensen : En studie genomförd inom Landstinget Halland

När vi kom i kontakt med Landstinget Halland uttryckte de behovet av att kunna attrahera och behålla personal. Då personer med nyckelkompetens har stor påverkan på organisationens framgång har vi valt att genomföra en studie med syfte att undersöka vilka förhållanden personer med nyckelkompetens inom Landstinget Halland upplever som centrala för sin specifika arbetssituation. Med hjälp av olika teorier och modeller analyserar vi och tar reda på hur sådana förhållanden kan påverka arbetsgivarens förmåga att behålla dessa personer. Vi har valt att undersöka på vilket sätt de förhållanden som framkommer är centrala för individens arbetstillfredsställelse och motivation samt för deras vilja att stanna kvar på eller lämna sitt arbete. Utifrån uppsatsens syfte och frågeställningar har vi genomfört sex stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med nyckelindivider och personalledning på en av verksamheterna inom Landstinget Halland. Vårt resultat visar att förhållanden som har att göra med arbetstillfredsställelse och motivation påverkar och påverkas av upplevt organisatoriskt stöd vilket i sin tur påverkar arbetsgivarens förmåga att behålla individer med nyckelkompetens. Hela analysen utmynnar slutligen i vår egen AFBN-modell (arbetsgivarens förmåga att behålla nyckelkompetens) som visar dessa samband..

This is an examinaton of welfare officers and patients experiences of a course in mindfulnessbased stressreduction in primary care. The authors used a qualitative method and a phenomenological hermeneutics scientific philosophical position. The analys of the data appeared by using three theoretical perspectives; cognitive, coping and Antonovskys Sence of Coherence. The purpose was to get a deeper understanding of what mindfulness is, how a course in mindfulnessbased stressreduction can be arranged and how it is comprehended by the welfare officers and previous participators of the course. To get an opinion of the issue the authors wanted to know the welfare officers intention of the course, to which patients they provide the course, what the participators thought about their situation before and after the attendence and if they had assimilated the knowledge and if so how it was applicable.

This thesis explores how remote work impacts organizational culture and identifies leadership strategies that can preserve and strengthen the culture in a remote work environment. By employing a theoretical framework related to organizational culture, remote work, and strategies, along with a methodology based on qualitative interviews, the study aims to fulfill its specified purpose. Theories such as Schein?s three levels of culture and McKinsey?s 7S Framework are applied to understand and analyze the collected empirical data. The empirical data, presented through four themes, is based on respondents? experiences and opinions regarding remote work can lead to reduced social interaction and sense of belonging, but strategic digital initiatives and adaptive leadership can help maintain organizational culture despite the lack of physical presence.
