Dog bites pose a threat to public health globally and can lead to infection, disfigurement, incapacity, post-traumatic stress syndrome and even death. In geographical areas where rabies is endemic, bites from infected dogs account for over 90% of the human rabies cases. Children have been proven to be at a greater risk of being bitten by dogs and subsequently contracting rabies than adults. In this cross-sectional study, a school survey was undertaken in association with a rabies awareness campaign in India, to investigate the dog bite incidence and various risk factors associated with dog bites as well as assessing the knowledge of safe interaction with dogs among children in the age group 10-18 years. A total of 1295 questionnaires were collected. 43.2 % (n=556) out of the respondents were boys and 56.8 % (n=731) were girls with a mean age of 14 years.

Sammanfattning Projektarbetet syftar till ett åtgärdsprogram för brandskyddet på SSAB- tunnplåts gamla fartygsmanufakturbyggnad i Luleå. De resulterade brandskyddsförslagen fastställdes genom riskidentifieringar och undersökningar av lokalens verksamheter. Analyser utfördes på de valda riskobjekten samt bearbetades med ett flertal metoder. Rapportens huvudsakliga beslutsstöd är ett datorbaserat simuleringsprogram, Fire Dynamics Simulator. Programmet genomför bland annat beräkningar på brand- och rökgasspridning, effektutveckling och temperatur i lokalens brandceller, på dess material och fordon.

Femton av dessa deltog som försökspersoner i en slutövning i skyddstjänst där hjärtfrekvens (Hf) mätningar gjordes och upplevd ansträngning skattades enligt Borgskalan.ResultatSex av försökspersonerna uppnådde högst nivåer på den aeroba energiomsättningen under momentet "skrovskadeskydd", sju under momentet "brand 2" och två under "brand 1". Hf varierade mycket mellan momenten och individerna pga.

Det finns en strävan efter att effektivisera byggindustrin genom att förändra traditionella produktionsprocesser och industrialisera byggandet. Samtidigt har regeringen infört åtgärder för att främja en ökad användning av trä i byggandet och då framför allt när det gäller uppförandet av flervåningshus samt offentliga lokaler. Byggsystemet trävolymbyggnad är en del i denna utveckling. Systemet innebär att färdiga vägg- och bjälklagselement sätts samman till hela volymer på fabrik innan de transporteras till byggplatsen för att monteras ihop till färdiga byggnader. Trävolymbyggaren ansvarar för allt från projektering till färdig produkt, vilket har lett till en viss osäkerhet kring systemet bland beställare i branschen.

During 2012 they saw the amount of notifications of insurance increasing in Sweden, which is a development that cost our society a great deal of money. With the aim to pursue a sustainable development I have therefore devoted this project to wellness and stress management within preschool.The employees of preschool are often dealing with a lot of stress, due to the big groups of children that causes high noise and sound levels. The high noise and sound levels is a contributor to stress which additionally can damage the health and cause impaired hearing loss. Background: Nespresso is a part of the Nestlé group and was founded in 1986, in the liaison of the revolutionary new method of brewing coffee. The idea was that everyone should be able to brew themselves a cup of espresso that would taste as if a professional barista had done it. Nespresso has now turned in to a new coffee culture. From the beginning Nespresso only sold their products via their club, Nespresso Club, but in year 2000 they opened their first store in Paris. The first store in Sweden opened year 2006 in Stockholm, followed by one in Malmö year 2012.

It is not uncommon for math difficulties and reading difficulties to occur simultaneously. Despite this, math and reading difficulties are thought to have different cognitive profiles where math difficulties are linked to number sense; an innate ability to understand, approximate and manipulate both quantities and numerical information, whereas reading difficulties are linked to phonological ability; an innate ability to understand, create representations of and manipulate phonological information. A possible link between the difficulties is that phonological abilities also could affect mathematical ability. Support for this comes from studies where comorbid math and reading difficulties are associated with more severe difficulties in arithmetic ability compared to those with isolated math difficulties. The purpose of this study is to examine whether isolated math difficulties, isolated reading difficulties and comorbid math and reading difficulties can be linked to deficits in number sense, phonological ability or both of these, and whether comorbid math and reading difficulties differ in performance in mathematical tasks compared to isolated math difficulties for children in second grade.

INTRODUKTION: Endometrios är en kronisk sjukdom som drabbar mellan 5-10 procent av kvinnor i fertil ålder. Sjukdomen, med smärta och infertilitet som karaktäristiska symtom, kan medföra ett stort lidande då den påverkar det fysiska, psykiska, sociala samt sexuella välbefinnandet. SYFTE: Att beskriva kvinnors upplevelse av att leva med endometrios. METOD: Litteraturstudie baserad på 10 kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserats enligt Friberg (2012). RESULTAT: Studierna visar att endometrios kan innebära mycket svåra symtom som påverkar livets alla delar på ett omfattande sätt genom dess inskränkningar på arbete, studier, relationer, och delaktigheten i sociala sammanhang samt hur rädsla och oro präglar kvinnornas tankar om framtiden.

Background: The debate about environment, labor conditions and aid to developing countries has the last years been a much discussed subject The pressure on the companies to live up to their responsibility is beginning to be noticed in the market.Purpose: To find out if a retail company investing in Corporate Social Responsibility thereby direct can effect it?s stock value. Using interviews to investigate if and how stock analysts and corporate finance professionals valuate a company?s CSR initiatives.Theoretical perspective: The description of CSR is leading to the main theory, The Brand Value Change, and the Market Hypothesis. Additionally a theory of the Consumer Buying Process and CAPM-model about financial risks is presented.Method: An event study of 30 companies to investigate if there is any change in their stock values and interviews with three professionals from the financial sector to find out about their attitude to CSR.

By exposing their products in blogs, companies have the opportunity to reach out to hundreds of thousands of consumers daily. Instead of using conventional Internet advertising such as banners and ads, some companies chose to make use of product placement in blogs. By choosing to expose their products in blogs, companies use a medium that blog readers are familiar with and can relate to, and can thereby solicit customers for their products and brands.We will examine whether product placements in fashion blogs are an effective way for businesses to market themselves and their products. We measure this efficiency, by keeping a record of the sales of ten product placed garment and accessories that we have selected from four of the largest blogs in Sweden. The stores we examine sales of product placed goods in are volume brand stores such as Zara and H&M etcetera.

The purpose of this study was to, by using thematic analysis, investigate how psychologists experience and are affected by treating sexually assaulted individuals, if and how they use different coping strategies to maintain their own wellbeing and how they are affected by the organization. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight psychologists working in a clinic dedicated for patients with history of sexual assault. The analysis identified one general theme and four themes. The general theme Consciousness and active choices minted the other themes. Participants' awareness of their own and colleagues? health supplied conditions for inner reflection, which along with concern for potential negative effects resulted in active choices for mental health and work environment.
