So- called ?Network Based Defense? (NBD) was introduced in Sweden in connection with the transformation of the Swedish Armed Forces in 1999. NBD is based on the U.S. variant Network Centric Warfare (NCW), which in turn is derived from research on the concept of Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA). In Sweden the concept was introduced and included not only the Armed Forces but was intended to also support the Swedish civilian agencies in order to create networks and hence share the available information and thus more effective crisis management and to provide more "bang for the buck." In developing the concept of NBD the Swedish Armed Forces used both economic and human resources, in the form of research, new technologies, new organization and new methods.Between year 2004 and 2006 the Armed Forces once again entered the process of reorganization.

Bakgrund: Bröstcancer är den mest förekommande cancersjukdomen bland kvinnor världen över. Den vanligaste behandlingen mot sjukdomen är kirurgi, vilken innefattar mastektomi där hela bröstvävnaden tas bort eller lumpektomi där endast en del av bröstvävnaden avlägsnas. Det kirurgiska ingreppet kan medföra negativa konsekvenser för kvinnorna ur ett fysiskt, emotionellt och socialt perspektiv. Det kan även påverka kvinnors kroppsuppfattning samt hur kvinnorna ser på sig själva. Syfte: Att belysa kvinnors kroppsuppfattning efter kirurgisk behandling där hela eller delar av bröstet tas bort till följd av bröstcancer. Metod: En litteraturöversikt innehållande 12 kvalitativa artiklar som belyser kvinnors kroppsuppfattning efter genomförd kirurgisk behandling. Samtliga inkluderade artiklar kvalitetsgranskades, söktes igenom efter likheter samt skillnader och sammanställdes sedan iform av subkategorier och huvudkategorier i resultatet. Resultat: Åtta olika subkategorier framkom: känsel, attack mot kroppsuppfattningen, identitet och feminitet, attraktion, minskad kvinnlighet, yttre fasad, normer och ideal och rädsla.

One way of signalling commands to the horse during riding is through applying tension on the reins to create bit pressure in the horse?s mouth (Terada et al., 2006; Clayton et al., 2011). The skilfulness of the rider in using the hands when applying bit pressure has consequences both for the horse?s performance and welfare (Manfredi et al., 2010). At the trot there are large vertical deviations of the horse?s Body which the rider must adjust and adapt to (Terada et al., 2006) and an unsteady hand due to inability to follow the horse?s movement can be a source of discomfort and conflict behaviour in the horse (Heleski et al., 2009).

För att få fram ett kostnadseffektivt övervakningssystem uppkom tanken att använda vanliga PC-datorer som plattform. De erbjuder hög beräkningskapacitet till förhållandevis låg kostnad.

Magnesium is an essential mineral that is important for several physiologic and biochemical processes in the Body. Deficiency of magnesium is mainly associated with grass tetany, but can also appear in cows during the indoor period. Since long it is known that potassium has a negative effect on the absorption of magnesium. Due to the fact that potassium fertilisation leads to a higher potassium content in forage, it is of interest to study interactions of potassium on the magnesium balance in dairy cows. There are few studies about magnesium feeding to dairy cows in Sweden and the purpose of this study was to investigate how much magnesium and from which feed-sources dairy cows in Sweden get their magnesium. Data was collected from seven farms in the northern part of Uppland and from seven farms in Skaraborg in Sweden.

I denna ?gymkultur? har även användningen av kosttillskott som exempelvis kreatin och whey protein bland manliga gymbesökare blivit något av en självklarhet. Kosttillskott förknippas starkt med prestationshöjande- och muskeluppbyggande effekter och marknadsförs ofta som just prestationshöjande och muskeluppbyggande. Detta är ett av flera strategiska knep som marknadsförare kan använda sig av för att locka individer till köp; genom att nämna att tillskotten kan leda till muskeluppbyggnad.

Nackbesvär är ett samhällsproblem både gällande välmående och indirekt en kostnad för samhället. Gällande ett års incidens av nackrelaterade besvär har Skandinavien högre medelvärden än övriga länder i Europa och fler kvinnor än män drabbas. Vid screening av nackbesvär med en multidimensionell inriktning baserad på en biopsykosocial modell finner man grupper med bristande motorisk kontroll. En av dessa grupper har felaktigt motoriska kontroll mönster exempelvis på ett sådant är en framåtskjuten huvudhållning. Syftet med studien var att undersöka effekterna av motorisk inlärning vid dysfunktionell postural hållning hos personer med långvariga nackbesvär.

SammanfattningBakgrund: Dagens stillasittande livsstil med ökat intag av energigivande ämnen resulterar i ett konstant anabolt hormonellt påslag. Detta leder till ökad övervikt och andra välfärdssjukdomar. Det rekommenderas att individer håller sig till en hög måltidsfrekvens med jämna mellanrum under dagen. Detta har börjat ifrågasättas med konkurrerande alternativ som involverar en tidigare samhällslivsstil så långt som 10 000 år sedan, då måltidsfrekvensen inte kunde planeras på samma sätt som idag.Syfte: Syftet är att under sju veckor undersöka effekten av två stycken veckovisa 24-timmars periodiska förbud mot intag av energigivande ämnen, med implementering av fysisk styrketräning och dess effekt på lean Body mass (LBM) och fettvikt hos yngre individer.Metod: Två separata 24-timmars perioder av fasta i samband med tre separata styrketräningstillfällen genomfördes per vecka under sju veckor. Kroppsmått gällande kroppsfett i procent, fettvikt i kilogram (kg), kroppsdimensioner i centimeter (cm), LBM och total kroppsvikt i kg togs innan och efter studiens genomförande.

This paper is an analysis of the novel Season of Migration to The North by Tayeb Salih. Season of Migration to The North was first published in 1967 and it is the most accomplished among several works in modern Arabic literature.I shall focus on one of the two major characters, Mustafa Said, a young Sudanese student whose brilliant career at school in Sudan and Cairo eventually brings him to England; he has a successful academic career in England as a lecturer at the University of London.One of the major themes of the novel is the confrontation between Mustafa Said and England, which in other terms is described as the confrontation between East and West. The conflict is rooted in colonialism. Mustafa Said?s native country, Sudan, was a British colony when the story takes place.

Thanks to preschool Bamse and the entire literature I have related to in my degree work I have both got an explanation for my question at issue, and a clearer insight for my main question "The treating of bilingual children after acclimatization". I have within the investigation chosen to study on the basis of the educationalists perspective on bilingual way of working. My question at issue on this investigation has been to see how a regular day of language development looks and how the group of children developed the Swedish language.The purpose with my degree work was to be able to get an insight in the educationalists way of working and methods and also to see how the educationalists treats bilingually individuals after the acclimatization. Scholarly research on comical popular theatre is rare in the Swedish context even though the genre has attracted large audiences throughout the 20th century. Nils Poppe is one of the greatest Swedish actors in the comical genre and he is famous for his playful acting style. With my Master?s dissertation I aim to shed some light on both the genre and this great actor. Another aim of this Master?s dissertation is to gain understanding of what causes the audience?s laughter experiencing Nils Poppe?s comical acting.

Problem discussion: Syncron experience a challenge in realizing the full market potential of its newly developed IT-based price management system, Global Price Management (GPM). Hydrotherapy is a relatively new area when it comes to treatment and prevention of different problems in dogs, but an area that is growing in popularity. In Sweden, the person who performs hydrotherapy on dogs doesn?t need veterinary education, which is the case in some other countries. What makes hydrotherapy advantageous is that water has an ability to provide an environment where injured Body parts can be supported, which means that rehabilitation can start early without the risk of affecting the injury and in the same time relieve the pain for the patient. There are only a few studies of hydrotherapy on dogs and these studies focus on the physical health of the dog.

In Sweden there are 560 000 disabled people over the age of 16, half of those are in use of some kind of mobility device.Living with a disability means that due to injury or illness you are having trouble functioning without devices or assistance in your daily life and has a big impact on the independence of the disabled user.The everyday life for disabled parents with young children are different depending on the type of disability and mobility device.Today there is no alternative to the stroller for the disabled user who use mobility advises. This causes problems when the disabled person on there own have/want to move the child.The following statement have been the cornerstone for this project: How to make it possible for a wheelchair user to move a child, in the 0-2 year, for longer distances with a focus on independence and safety for both adult children?Due the process, of industrial design, this question and problem have been solved during 10 weeks. The process have contained parts as meeting with users, analyzing, concept development, evaluations, mock-up making, testing, shape & color development etc. This in the end have resulted in a full scale model of the appearance of a proposed product.The result is a stroller witch can be connected to the users specific wheelchair due two one time adjustments.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reasons a religious minority leader has to convert to a larger religious group and how the leader chooses to communicate this event in certain daily press. In March 2014 the leader and founder of the Christian and charismatic movement ?Livets Ord? (Words of Life), Ulf Ekman, announced his decision converting to the Roman Catholic Church after a 10 year long process of thinking. The communications of Ekman?s linguistic language in the articles are discussed through two discourse analyzing perspective, Laclau & Mouffe?s and Fairclough?s.
