SammanfattningJag har analyserat fem debattartiklar, tre skrivna av Linda Skugge, författare och skribent i Expressen, och två av Sara Stridsberg, författare och frilansande journalist, i den så kallade ?bimbodebatten? som har pågått i flera år där kända kvinnor har kritiserats i media på grund av sitt ickerespektabla förhållningssätt till sig själv och sin kropp, exempelvis gällande utvik, silikoninlägg, klädstil osv. De texter jag har valt ut berör samtliga Linda Rosing, känd från dokusåpan Big Brother. Som en debatt mellan två personer förhåller sig texterna tydligt till varandra. Det hela startade med att Linda Skugge kritiserade Linda Rosing mycket hårt varefter Sara Stridsberg gick in och försvarade henne.Jag har analyserat texterna utifrån Beverly Skeggs respektabilitetsbegrepp, och har även kompletterat med Pierre Bourdieu för att synliggöra de olika aktörernas positioner i det sociala rummet, bland annat med hjälp av hans begrepp kapital och habitus.Nyckelord: Kvinnlighet, respektabilitet, bimbo, bimbodebatten, Linda Rosing, Linda Skugge, Sara Stridsberg.AbstractMy analyse is of five debate articles, three written by Linda Skugge, Swedish writer and journalist, and two written by Sara Stridsberg, Swedish writer and freelancing journalist, concerning the ?bimbodebate? which has been going on for several years where famous women have been criticised for their non respectable way of presenting their Body.

Background: During the last decade physical activity among Swedish adolescents has decreased. Changes regarding physical fitness can also be seen, for instance the cardio respiratory capacity has decreased mainly among young men while muscular capacity has decreased in both genders. Physical inactivity and impaired physical fitness are both important health related parameters. 18-year olds have fulfilled their physical development and are physically on top of their development, it makes this group interesting to examine. Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate differences between physically active and inactive young men and women, concerning cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular fitness and balance.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen var att göra en analys av vilka resultat som deltagarna uppnått efter 2 års dagvårdsbehandling på Överviktsenheten, Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset. Följande frågor står i fokus för denna studie:? Svarar män och kvinnor olika på behandlingen i fråga om relativ och absolut viktminskning?? Finns det skillnader mellan ursprungs-BMI (kg/m2) och viktminskningen, i relativa och absoluta termer?? Skiljer sig olika åldersgrupper åt i fråga om relativ och absolut viktminskning?? Hur ändras sjukdomsprevalensen för IGT/diabetes typ II, höga triglyceridnivåer, hypertoni och metabolt syndrom under behandlingens gång?Metod: Behandlingen innefattar beteendemodifikation i form av förändrade kostvanor och ökad fysisk aktivitet. Uträkningarna baseras på tre mätningar; före behandlingsstart, samt efter 1 och 2 år. Dessa består av blodprover samt längd, vikt och blodtryck.

Not only developing countries are affected, even in the western world epidemics are breaking out by partake or bathing in dirty/polluted water.MIP, Molecularly Imprinted Polymers, is a biosensor technology that can provide faster and more reliable response than the current methods of water analysis. It is also cheaper and due to that more samples can be taken and analyzed.

AbstraktIntroduktion: Graviditet är en tid som medför att kvinnornas kroppar omformas. Med ett klart formulerat kvinnoideal medför detta att de gravida kvinnorna evaluerar sin självbild till följd av att förändringen sker i motsats till samhällets utseende trend. Kvinnorna känner sig ful och oattraktiv, likväl får barnets hicka och sparkar i livmodern kvinnorna att känna fascination samt stolthet.Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet är att belysa hur kvinnor beskriver sin självbild i samband med en graviditet.Metod: Sex kvinnor som var gravid i vecka 28-35 intervjuades med semi-strukturerade öppna frågor. Data har analyserats med inspiration från grundad teori.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i en huvudkategori, fyra kategorier och sexton underkategorier. De gravida kvinnorna har till följd av samhällets ideal en generellt dålig självbild.

Ett nytt produktionskoncept på Saab Automobile AB ? Lean Automation ? är under implementering och utveckling. Inriktningen är att utveckla automationslösningar som stödjer principer och arbetsätt inom Lean Produktion. En gemensam nämnare är automation som byggs upp av enkel, standardiserad och modulariserad utrustning och som kan omkonfigureras av egen personal.Två pilotinstallationer har gjorts under 2010: Transport med enkel AGV (Lean AGV) samt Lean Automation Robot Cell (LARC). Dessa komponenter ingår i denna studie som inriktar sig på förändringar i det totala produktionssystemet med sikte på en konstant hög produktivitetsnivå även vid frekventa förändringar i volym och produktinnehåll.Studien pekar på vikten av att samla produktionspersonalen för att underlätta balansering, men även för att skapa en visuell process där fel snabbt kan upptäckas och åtgärdas.

What is the relation between literature and philosophy and what can we learn from it? Is there something about the novel and its language, fiction and narrative that separates it from philosophical litterature? In what way is knowledge about this useful to us, and is it possible to use fiction for the understanding of philosophy?This study makes an attempt to shed some light on the by no means obviuos distinction between philosophy and literature. The aim is to understand what, if in fact there is something that separates philosophy from literature, there is about the distinction that makes it possible for us to separate the ideas in literature from philosophical ideas, and in what way we can use the novel, or fiction in its widest meaning, to understand philosophy. When teaching philosophy you´re often required to make the abstract tangible. But if there´s a misconception about the distinction in what makes philosophical literature philosophical, then maybe there is something to learn from literature, or, at least, something about the fiction and its aesthetics, that makes it easier for us to relate to and understand, for example, the theories that are debated in moral philosophy.There are some philosophers who have used the form of fiction to make their thoughts on philosophical questions understandable.

More and more companies open up facilities and stores in countries all around the world. Entering a new country means a new culture, a new language, different norms and values and new people with a different way of thinking unlike what you are used to. In order to survive and be successful in this new country means that you have to adapt to the new culture and its components you encounter.The purpose of this thesis has been to identify possibilities and barriers in the Middle Eastern culture affecting international clothing companies. Furthermore it has been investigated how these companies must adapt their products and promotion to this culture.In order to obtain relevant data for achieving the purpose of the study interviews and observations was made at three international clothing companies in Tehran, Iran. These were Mango, United Colors of Benetton and adidas.

The interest for functional strength training in golf has grown the last decade and scientists are always trying to find training stategies to improve the biomechanical aspects of the swing. Kinematic sequence contains a proximal-to-distal sequence order towards impact, and an effective kinematic sequence in the down swing begins with a rotation in the pelvis and follows by an activation in thorax, arms and club in the respective order. The rotational torques in the proximal segments wanders through the Body and to the more distal segments to create an effective energy ? and power transfer at impact. The x-factor stretch is the seperation between the rotation in the pelvis and the thorax at the top of the back swing and at the beginning of the down swing.

Lately the popularity to keep different species of dwarf hamsters has increased in Sweden. The requirements of the Swedish legislation to keep hamsters as pets are low which could be a reason for the increasing popularity. Hamsters are in nature generally nocturnal and can travel far distances to find food sources during their active part of the day. Their eyesight is poor, but is compensated by their well-developed hearing and olfaction. ?Run about balls? are made of plastic and the hamster is placed inside it where after the ball is placed on the floor and the hamster can then run protected outside the cage.

Heart failure is a condition where the heart is incapable of providing adequate blood supply to different organs in the Body. The underlying causes of heart failure is some kind of disorder in the heart function, and require careful diagnostics. The basic symptoms that arise from heart failure is difficulty in breathing, that aggravate when lying down, and fatigue. The patients? symptoms and impaired quality of life can be in different stages depending on the severity of the heart failure.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur en grupp gymnasieelever ser på sitt eget och andras identitetsskapande i förhållande till media. Frågeställningar:?       Vilken inverkan anser deltagarna att media har på deras sociala kön och kroppsuppfattning??       Ser deltagarna någon skillnad på hur killar och tjejer förhåller sig till media i sitt identitetskapande??       Vad anser deltagarna att de normer och ideal som media förmedlar innebär för derasidentitetsskapande? Sammanfattning:Vår datainsamlingsmetod har bestått av två kvalitativa gruppintervjuer som genomförts på gymnasieskolor med deltagare som går sitt tredje år. Vid analysen av den insamlade empirin har vår teoretiska utgångspunkt varit Socialkonstruktionism och fenomenologin vår förståelsegrund.  Vid analysen har vi använt oss utav IPA ? metoden.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the lived experiences and treatment of Muslim women in their encounters with the social services. The primal themes for this study was: How does Muslim women experience the treatment of their case in the social services in a situation of need? How can the encounter and experience with the social services affect the clients trust in the social services?  What is the ideal treatment of women with a Muslim identity by the social services?The aim of this study was to investigate and capture the respondents lived perceptions and experiences with the social services, and thus the qualitative interview methodology was implemented to answer the research questions and hypotheses. Seven interviews with Muslim women were conducted in various districts of Stockholm, a city in northern Sweden. Five of the respondents were of ethnic Swedish origin and two were of other ethic origin.The results show that the majority of the respondents experienced a negative response at least once when in contact with the social services.

År 2008 var 43 miljoner barn under fem år diagnostiserade med fetma. Fetma anses som en kronisk/långvarig sjukdom och ett folkhälsoproblem med behov av förebyggande arbete för att förhindra framtida konsekvenser. För beräkning av kroppsfett används Body Mass index (BMI). BMI är det mått som används världen runt och räknas genom att dividera kroppsvikt i kilogram med längd i meter i kvadrat. Att ungdomarna drabbas av fetma beror främst på dåliga matvanor, obegränsad tillgång till kalorier i form av kolhydrater och fett ofta i kombination med mindre fysisk aktivitet.

Violence against children and particularly the ?Bobby Case? in spring 2006 initiated an unprecedented debate in the Swedish media about child maltreatment and child murder. There are however some children whose death causes never will be solved, and some of these cases are erroneously classified as something else.The present survey is commissioned by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency and the Swedish Centre for Lessons Learned from Incidents & Accidents, and will serve as the basis for a children safety council which will be established 2006.In this survey the answer to the question how deaths among children and youth under the age of 18 years caused by accidents, suicides and violence are investigated when the background and the intention is uncertain is elaborated. A statistical report of how many deaths are classified as uncertain intent is given in the survey. The statistics shows that 26 children and youths under the age of 18 have died from uncertain intent between the years 1997-2003.There are many purposes to a death investigation, for example to determine the cause and manner of death.
