The number of new estate agent offices is increasing yearly and each year many hundred new estate agents graduate. The comparing of estate agents by sellers has perhaps been most common in larger cities, but as competition has increased even in smaller towns we experience that it has become a common phenomenon even there. We both come from a small town but are not afraid of the idea of moving to a larger city as newly qualified estate agents. We ask ourselves, which are the determining factors in the choice of a estate agent in a large city as opposed to a small town? Can we see any differences? The purpose with this essay is to give us added knowledge about which factors private persons consider to be important in their choice of an estate agent when selling a house.The Body of information is based on two parallel surveys, one in Hudiksvall and one in Stockholm, together with interviews of people in this line of business.

The objective of the essay was to identify the nursing care required by a dog suffering from heat stroke and how to educate and advice the owners how to start treating their dog and prevent the condition from occurring in the first place. The essay is based on a literature study. Several databases were searched for scientific research to try find answers to the issues. Keywords concerning the subject were used and mixed in different combinations to sort out the suitable studies. The results of the study indicate that the dog should be cooled by the owner directly after detection. The most crucial issue is to reduce the Body temperature as quickly as possible or the morbidity will worsen.

SammanfattningAtt undersöka en befolknings fysiska aktivitet ger beskrivande data utavdagsläget samt att resultatet fungerar som mätinstrument för hur en framtidaintervention ska utformas. Syftet med denna studie var att se om någotsamband förelåg mellan tre olika undersökningsinstrument för fysiskaktivitet, som används för med barn med övervikt. Metod: Deltagarnamättes, vägdes, skattade sin fysiska aktivitetsnivå (frågeformulär), testade sinfysiska prestationsförmåga (sex minuters gångtest) och deras fysiska aktivitetmättes (accelerometer). Resultat: Åtta flickor, 7-13 år, med ett Body MassIndex (BMI) på 26 ± 3,7 kg/m2deltog. Majoriteten skattade sig vara fysisktaktiva 30-60 min/dag under vardag och helg, men som grupp var skattningensignifikant lägre på helgen.

Bakgrund: Skolios är en ryggradskrökning och det är viktigt att hitta orsaken då behandlingen är beroende av skoliosens utseende. Röntgenundersökningar bör endast användas när behandling av skoliosen övervägs då onödiga stråldoser bör undvikas. Ju mer strålning en patient får på sig desto större risk för cellskada. Röntgensjuksköterskor bör alltid arbeta för att försöka minimera stråldosen vid röntgenundersökningar.Syfte: Syftet med aktuell studie var att jämföra olika skoliosundersökningar på två röntgenavdelningar för att fastställa om någon skillnad i stråldos uppstod mellan dem.Frågeställning: Är det någon stråldosskillnad mellan en konventionell skoliosundersökning och en skoliosundersökning med genomlysningsutrustning?Metod: I ett konventionellt undersökningsrum och i ett genomlysningsrum tillfrågades 30 patienter om längd samt vikt och undersökningens Dos Area Produkt (DAP)-värde dokumenterades.

In Italy in 1528 the famous author Baldassare Castiglione published the book Il Cortegiano. In words Castiglione portraits the ideal courtiers and provides a lot of advice on how to achieve the ultimate courtier manner. For example he introduces and explains the words sprezzatura and grazia. His advice spread from Italy and influenced the courts around Europe. My purpose with this study has been two folded. Firstly, I have analysed Castigliones Il Cortegiano in order to examine his vision of virtues and ideals.

Sports research in the field of social science has shown that regular physical activity leads to wellbeing and positively affects the quality of life. A natural part of being an athlete is learning the functions of the human Body, and what?s harmful and destructive, such as drugs (RF 1995). Doping is a constant problem in professional sport. Doping and manipulation of medical preparations in order to maximise performance is one of modern sport?s major problems, according to Blom and Lindroth (1995).I thought it would be interesting to see what the next generation of athletes thinks of doping.

People that sit down and work in the same position all day long the whole week will eventually be affected by long-term work injuries.Large multinational companies around the world offer a customer service where they serve customers who have experienced a problem with that company?s products or services.

AbstractThe aim of the study was to describe district nurses experiences meeting intimate of cancer patients in home care. The study had a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of ten district nurses employed in primary health care, working in emergency duty in a district in the Middle of Sweden. The results are presented from the two categories; to communicate and being competent, which was formulated to one theme. The theme ?Being safe in one´s professional role, being aware of possibilities and difficulties when encountering intimates in home care?.

Den primära behandlingsmetoden vid sjukdomen utgörs av kirurgi, varav i vissa fall hela bröstkörteln måste opereras bort via så kallad mastektomi. Tidigare forskning har åskådliggjort att förlusten av ett bröst kan påverka kvinnors kroppsbild och sexualitet. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur kvinnor med bröstcancer upplever kroppsbild och sexualitet efter att ha genomgått mastektomi. Metod: Studien är en allmän litteraturstudie baserad på 10 kvalitativa artiklar och en kvantitativ.

In the area of short stories there is little doubt that Roald Dahl has been an influential writer. Dahl´s short stories have been presented to the general public through TVbraodcasts but in order to grasp the true spirit of Dahl´s writing the best method is, of course, reading his books. The fictional works of Roald Dahl can be divided into two major categories: stories for adults and stories for children. This essay is concerned with the second grouping and is an attempt to analyse three themes that are of particular importance to his work. After a brief biographical note on the author, the essay analyses the element of the macabre in Dahl?s writing.

Lymphoma is a group of malignant tumour diseases developing in the secondary lymphatic system. These diseases can develop in all organs as lymphocytes are ubiquitously in the Body. In connection to mucus membranes we find mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue, MALT, in which lymphoma can spontaneously but slowly develop, mostly at chronic inflammation or at autoimmune diseases. Today these diseases are incureable with the exception of some cases caused by Helicobacter pylori-infection. Antibiotic treatment of these cases can induce remissions.MALT-lymphomas have characteristic histological and molecular properties.

Arbetsterapi är grundat på att engagemang i aktivitet är nödvändigt för hälsa och välmående. Trots detta har mycket av professionsutvecklingen lett till interventioner som inte är aktivitetsbaserade. Basal Kroppskännedom? (BK) och arbetsterapi har flera gemensamma grundantaganden.

In this study we have examined in which way the horse is used in Equine Assisted Therapy, and what effects the treatment staff experience and describes that the interaction with horses has on girls who self-harms. Our Empirical data was collected through qualitative methods such as interviews, participant observation and informal interviews with a total of six different informants, from five different activities with Equine Assisted Therapy for girls who self-harms. In the analysis we have assumed symbolic interactionism, a theory focusing on the human as a social being, where the self-image alters in the social interaction with other human beings. We interwove this theory with the Biophilia hypothesis, an explanatory model concerning human?s relationship to animals and nature.The conclusions we have found in the results are:Equine Assisted Therapy is a complementary treatment comprises both horseback riding and exercises which is not based on the horsebackEquine Assisted Therapy almost always involves three parts, the therapist, the client and the horse.

?Bröstcancer och mastektomi kan leda till sexuella svårigheter för kvinnor. Sexualitet och intimitet är av betydelse för livskvaliteten, och vårdpersonalen behandlar inte eller är obekväma med att vårda patienter med sexuella problem.  Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva faktorer som kan påverka kvinnans upplevelse av sin sexualitet efter en mastektomi. Arton vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades och resultatet visar att förändringar av kroppens utseende, sociodemografiska skillnader och den psykiska och fysiska hälsan är faktorer som påverkar sexualiteten efter en mastektomi. Kvinnor som genomgår bröstbevarande kirurgi upplever en bättre sexuell hälsa än de som genomgår mastektomi.

Cattle production systems are changing to bigger intensified systems with larger numbers of animals per farm and more free range systems while at the same time employing fewer people. Aversive handling has been known to affect cattle production negatively for many years, but lately scientists have started to focus more on what positive effects gentle handling and positive human-cattle interactions may have on beef and dairy production. Fear can cause high stress in production animals and this can contribute to not only reduced production within beef and dairy cattle, but also increased risks for accidents and decreased animal welfare. Therefore, by reducing the fear cattle experience of humans, it could be possible to increase production, decrease accidents and increase the welfare of the animals. Reducing the animals fear and stress can be done by simple means, such as walking and talking calmly around the cattle, associating humans to positive feelings (such as feed) and stroking the cattle?s Body regions associated with social grooming.
