This thesis was performed at Zetterbergs Industri AB. Zetterbergs is designing, building and mounts Body systems for trucks, including dumpers and tippers. The assignment for the thesis was to design a door hinge for a spreader gate. The spreader gate is the top of the two tailgates on a dumper or tipper and opens back and outwards when tipping the cargo. The spreader gate controls the mass flow of the material being tipped.

AbstractAim: this paper is a report of a concept analysis of forgiveness and its practice within the social work area. Background: worldwide interest in and funding for forgiveness research has brought about a Body of knowledge from many disciplines that could be clinically useful to social work. At this time forgiveness interventions are used in social work in other countries, primary in the USA. The social workers in the Scandinavian countries need to focus on this important area of inquiry. Method: forgiveness was explored from a philosophical perspective and from forgiveness interventions from a variety of areas suitable for social work.

AimThe aim of this study was to survey the physical fitness in boys with type 1 diabetes (IDDM). The results were compared to a control group with healthy boys that have preformed the same tests in other studies. Our questions were:1. How does BMI relate between IDDM-children and healthy peers?2.

The equine hoof is often manipulated in purpose to achieve a better stride or to reduce the weight on damaged tissue. The living tissue in the hoof can?t store energy as glycogen and is therefore depending on a continuous supply of glucose for its energy production. The purpose of the study was to determine if wedging (i.e. elevating) the heel could influence the hooves glucose and lactate consumption/production. Five standardbred horses were trained to trot on a treadmill without getting physical or mentally tired.

PR appears to be an indistinct division and a complicated resource for companies to value. The current circumstances are negative to the credibility and reliability of PR. This study emphasizes how an application of return on investment contributes to a more strategic use of PR and increases the status and credibility for the division.We experience that measuring the economic value of PR is of great importance and of current interest with few prior studies made. The purpose of this study is to find out how a PR-agency and one of its clients relates to and works with evaluation of PR-activities and to which extent the economic contribution of the activity is measured.The foundation which the theoretical reference grounds on is theories of Delusions of PR and the use of benefit-cost analyzes, Stages and Levels for Evaluating Public Relations Programs, Marketing Return on Investment and PR Return on Investment. The theoretical reference serves as a base during the analyze of the study.The conclusion, based on the empirical Body of information, is that an application of return on investment could contribute with a higher status and credibility for the PR-division.

De centrala frågorna i studien är att undersöka om flickors sexualitet och kroppsuppfattning påverkas av att de är födda med analatresi. Studien undersöker också om flickorna uppfattar att föräldrarnas omvårdnad och omhändertagande påverkar deras upplevelse av sin sexualitet och kroppsuppfattning. Slutligen undersöker studien om psykologiskt stöd bör erbjudas under barndomen eller tonåren och i så fall vilken typ av stöd som efterfrågas.

This is a degree project performed at Halmstad University in Sweden on the subject carpet ofreinforcement. This project is developed in association with Celsa Steel Service in Halmstad.The purpose of this report is to investigate how much time that can be saved if carpet ofreinforcement is used instead of the traditional way to work with reinforcement and seewhat kind of parameters that is important between the choices. We are also going to seehow this product affects the situation for reinforcement workers from an ergonomic point ofview.Carpet of reinforcement is made by straight reinforcement?s bars that are welded togetherwith steel bands. These rolls are made at a factory with a machine that welds together thebars in determined centre distance, with desired dimensions after the constructionengineers? blueprints.

Syftet med detta projekt är att söka samband mellan psykisk besvär och BMI, Body Mass Index hos ungdomar. Till underlag har legat en hälsoenkät som varje elev på två gymnasieskolor besvarat vid skolstart samt information om deras vikt och längd. Sammanlagt har 846 elever fullständig information. Om eleven i hälsoenkäten uppgett att de har ett eller flera av symptomen av psykiska besvär, här definierat som återkommande huvudvärk, återkommande magbesvär, återkommande oro eller ängslan, återkommande sömnsvårigheter, nedstämdhet, mindervärdeskänslor, ätstörningar, brist på energi eller svaghetskänslor, koncentrationssvårigheter eller hopplöshetskänslor, har de klassificerats som elever med psykiska besvär.Resultatet visar att psykiska besvär klassificerats hos 73 % av eleverna. Det största antalet elever med psykisk besvär ligger inom gränsvärdena för normalvikt, cirka två tredjedelar.

What significance does movement have for teachers on the Arts with Music programme?2. How do teachers on the Arts with Music programme regard movement as an educational tool in the teaching of music?3.

Obesitas är idag ett stort hot mot folkhälsan och förekommer i alla åldersgrupper. Som en följd av detta skrivs fler kvinnor med obesitas in på Mödrahälsovården än tidigare. Detta resulterar i att barnmorskan allt oftare vårdar gravida kvinnor med obesitas. De medicinska riskerna som föreligger för en kvinna med obesitas är identifierade, men kring barnmorskans upplevelser av detta bemötande finns endast begränsade studier. Syftet med denna studie var därför att undersöka barnmorskans upplevelser av att möta den gravida kvinnan med obesitas, det vill säga ett Body Mass Index >30.

Internal audits have discovered problems with one of the tools, practical problem solving (PPS), which needs to be improved.
