How does the idea of entrepreneurship for young people relate to media discourses? We have analysed magazines on entrepreneurship from the perspective of Faircloghs critical discourse analysis method to see how the magazines, by there own position in the entrepreneurships discourse, relate the idea of young entrepreneurship. The society wants more people to start their own business, why? The issues of the shift from youth as social problems to youth as entrepreneurs is discussed in the thesis as well as the scope and content of this discourse as a possible new ideal for youth in Swedish society..

The goal of this project was to make the requirement process at the Swedish Coastguard more effective. The first step to achieve this was done by locating bottle necks in the process with value stream mapping method. The result of this study showed that the biggest restriction in the requirement process was while examining older requirement documents to understand what elements were suitable for the particular project. This was followed by a study of literature, interviews and theory of Lean Production with the ambition to investigate how the requirement process was handled on other companies and how to improve the process on the Swedish coast guard. This led to a number of potential enhancements of the process which later was evaluated. Requirements written by different people in different organizations were analyzed in order to sort out if there were some similarities? which could be used as standard elements in a future standardization of the process.

The paper evaluates two housing proposals with Space syntax as method. The proposals are very different in a topological sense but are in a configural sense almost the same. This effect is because both proposals connect themselves to the existing configural structure of the city in the same way. Neither of them takes advantages of the most integrated streets in the existing structure and use them to concentrate pedestrian and car flows to the streets or points which are intended to be the most urban areas. The knowledge of Space syntax and this evaluation puts focus on the pour understanding among architects and planners of what effect urban design proposals will have..

This thesis is based on two different parts. First a presentation and a brief insight of the most comprehensive picture educational structures/theories and their various branches in Sweden from the post war period. Secondly a presentation of my artistic masters project Fantasy World, where I together with a group of children aged 7-12 freely created an artwork in the form of a world of its own, in sculptural expression. The great economic impact of startups on society has made these types of companies an increasingly popular subject for research. Though no single definition of the word startup currently exists, one could define it as a temporary organization in search of a scalable, repeatable, and profitable business model. Seen from a historic perspective, tech-startups in particular should be considered a new phenomenon and the topic is still relatively unexplored. This study investigates the structure in tech-startups during their first months of existence and compares it to the structure that prevails when the companies have recruited at least five additional employees. In addition, the study explains why these changes occur.

The first four AP-funds have a well-diversified Swedish portfolio, which is managed in similar way as the largest Swedish bank funds. Up until today, there has not been any comparable study that focuses specifically on this part of the AP-funds. Our aim is two-folded; First we will look at how well the AP-funds have managed their Swedish assets compared with Swedish funds of the four largest banks in Sweden during 2002-2006. This will be done by looking at some important key ratios and both absolute and active return. Secondly we will present a descriptive analysis of the management structure within the respective organisations, to be able to draw conclusions regarding the possible deviations in investment return.

The number of people that are categorized as being homeless in the Swedish society are increasing. This might be an indication that the methods being used today shows not to be working efficient enough. A group of researchers connected to the University of Lund are now in a process to spread new workingmethods against the problems with homelessness in Sweden. Their goal is to completely erase homelessness as a social problem. This new method of working is distinctively different from the one currently beeing used.

Atlas Copco Craelius har vid årsskiftet 2011-2012 genomfört en flytt av större delar avlagret då en ökad produktion med tiden har medfört att lagret blivit för litet.Hanteringen av ankommande gods och plock av artiklar till monteringen har inteutvecklats i samma takt som företaget och är därför i behov av modernisering. Idagsläget placeras allt ankommande gods på gården och registrerades sedan i turordningi affärssystemet Movex. Detta sätt att arbeta medför att då det kommer stora volymerankommande gods tar det lång tid innan allt registreras. Atlas Copco Craelius har pgaav detta arbetssätt ingen möjlighet att veta vilka artiklar som finns bland det gods somblir stående i väntan på att läggas in i lager och registreras. Därför vill Atlas CopcoCraelius ta fram ett nytt arbetssätt som gör det möjligt att veta vad som har kommit såfort som möjligt för att sedan kunna lagerlägga och registrera i turordning.På grund av sättet som lagret har arbetat har det inte funnits några möjligheter att mätahur lång tid det tar att lägga in ankommande gods eller hur lång tid det tar från att ettplock kommer ut till lagret tills det att plocket levereras till monteringen.

Bakgrund: Sjukvården beskrivs som oerhört komplex och genom bland annat utveckling av ny och dyr teknik, som i sin tur genererar bättre vård, gör det svårt för sjukhus att hålla sin budget. En controller har en fundamental roll i en organisations ekonomistyrning och ska med hjälp av diverse styrmedel styra och kontrollera så att verksamheten drivs mot ekonomiska mål.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen var att beskriva och analysera hur en controller inom sjukvården använder ekonomiska styrmedel för att nå ekonomisk måluppfyllelse samt skapa en förståelse för hur en controller hanterar balansgången mellan ekonomisk måluppfyllelse och vårdkvalité.Metod: Uppsatsen är formad med en kvalitativ forskningsdesign. En flerfallstudie har använts som forskningsstrategi där den empiriska datan är insamlad genom ostrukturerade intervjuer med anställda vid två sjukhus i Småland, länssjukhuset i Kalmar och centrallasarettet i Växjö. Det teoretiska avsnittet är byggt med data som insamlats från litteratur och vetenskapliga artiklar som varit tillgängliga via Linnéuniversitetets bibliotekskatalog.Slutsats: De resultat som framkommer av studien påvisar att en controllerns användning av styrmedel tenderar att fokusera på ekonomisk måluppfyllelse. Genom användning i större utsträckning av de styrmedel som är under utveckling finns möjligheter för controllern att även påverka vårdkvalité..

Examensarbetet berör utvärdering och förbättring av kvalitetssystem vid Pfizer i Helsingborg. Data har samlats in, analyserats och därefter har förbättringsförslag tagits fram. Huvuddelen av datainsamlingen består av intervjuer som sedan analyserats med hjälp av teori inom TQM och gällande ISO standard. Övriga delar av datainsamlingen består bland annat av benchmarking. Svagheter med systemet har identifierat och rör bland annat, avsaknad av helhetsbild, kontrollinriktat samt suboptimeringar.

Learning Management Systems (LMSs) hold great potential to support learning activities, for example by providing teachers and students with new and extended spaces for interaction and collaboration. However, this potential appears to be difficult to realize, and despite their perceived learning benefits, the reality is that LMSs are being used primarily for administrative purposes. Meanwhile, external pedagogical tools are successfully put into practice to improve learning outcomes, and the aim of this study is therefore to identify and discuss benefits and disadvantages associated with the LMS as a concept. By interviewing secondary school teachers, we disentangle the idea of integrating administrative and pedagogical aids into a single platform, providing detailed insight into the use of digital tools in secondary education. The study contributes to a deepened understanding of integrated learning environments, and we conclude that there is a conflict between structure and flexibility that needs to be addressed before determining the design of a digital learning space..

This is a case study which investigated the perceived consequences of the organizational change that was implemented in January 2013 at Karlstad University. The study aimed to explore the experiences of the employees concerning the changes in organizational structure and internal communication. This was done through a set of eight individual standardized qualitative interviews with members from different departments. A lot of effort and thought was given to the ethical implications and to create a comfortable and open climate during the actual interviews to ensure that the respondents felt free to speak openly and honestly about their personal opinions and experiences.It is evident that the overall vision was ambitious; aiming to create a more effective organization through cutting off excessive administrative personnel and streamlining decision paths. However according to the opinions of the respondents it was clear that the result was far from the desired goal.

What is the?self? and to become ?one-self?? To resolve this questions possibility I´ve been using the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard metaphysic paradoxes. Denna studie behandlar begreppen process och produkt. Syftet är att genom ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv undersöka några bildlärares syn på begreppen process och produkt i bildundervisningen på högstadiet. Tidigare har fokus legat på elevers färdiga produkt men idag är bedömningen i bildämnet mer fokuserad på elevers process (Skolverket, 2012:3). Undersökningen genomfördes genom  kavlitativa intervjuer. Intervjufrågorna är förankrade i Lindströms (2002:4-5) process- och produktkriterier.
