The aim of this essay is to examine which help a group of women with eating disorders had from thier treatment in daycare in 2004. The aim is to examine how the women have experienced this treatment and how they live today. The central questions are: what was their life situation like before the treatment, what was their experience of the treatment, how could the treatment have been better and how are their lives today? The method is based on qualitative interviews with seven women who were all in the same treatment for eight weeks at Capio AnorexiCenter in Malmö. The women have also redone tests that were done right before and right after the treatment.

The purpose of this paper was to understand internal communication?s critical tradition by studying the interface of the subjective experience and the objective behavior within a management team. During almost two years this group was observed, several semi-structured interviews were conducted and a specific incident was analyzed. The interview texts where analyzed, using the Meaning Constitution Analysis developed by Roger Sages (2010) at Lund University. The observations were summarized in sociograms showing relationships in the organization.

[Abstract: This study examines the observed difference between Swedish and foreign owners when it comes to nominating committee participation. The background to the study is that foreign owners seem to participate in Swedish nominating committees to a lesser extent than their Swedish counterparts. The focus is on institutional owners and the companies studied are all listed companies who follow the Swedish code of corporate governance. Particular attention is paid to perceived differences in behavior that can be explained using the common corporate governance related theories of Exit, Voice and Loyalty as well as Agency Theory. These explanations are chiefly related to differences in attitudes regarding insider information, different knowledge levels regarding the purpose and workings of nominating committees of the Swedish kind as well as differences due to home market biases.].

Dessa elever är extra resurskrävandeoch lärarna får svårt att mäkta med eleverna i den arbetsrelateradestress de känner idag. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hurarbetsrelaterad stress styr lärarnas bemötande av elever i behov avsärskilt stöd. En enkätundersökning med 119 deltagande lärare från tiogrundskolor i mellansverige utfördes.

The purpose of this literature study is to provide an overview of current knowledge about the physioloical functioning of androstenone. There are several studies showing androstenone´s function as a pheromone, and that it is an important part of communication and mating behavior between pigs. Androstenone is produced in the testes of the boar and transported via the bloodstream to the salivary glands where it is excreted with the saliva. Sows sense the pheromone, not via the vomeronasal organ as previously considered, but via the olfactory mucosa.

Bakgrund: Användning av vårdhund inom svensk sjukvård har ökat och då antalet studier som gjorts inom området rehabilitering är få ansågs detta vara ett relevant område att fördjupa sig i.Syfte: Att undersöka om rehabilitering med vårdhundsförare och vårdhund kan öka välbefinnande, motivation och aktivitet hos vårdtagare i jämförelse med konventionell träning.Metod: Single case design. Två deltagare studerades under sju träningspass i fyra veckor med videoinspelning, VAS och intervju.Resultat: Självskattning på VAS visade inga skillnader mellan de olika träningarna, medan observationerna av träningarna med vårdhund visade att deltagarna log längre tid och de hade även mer fysisk kontakt, fler finmotoriska övningar och hälften så lång tid av grovmotoriska övningar. Deltagarna beskrev båda träningarna som värdefulla, givande och roliga. Träningarna med vårdhund upplevdes även som lättsamma och en stund då de slapp tänka på det tråkiga som hänt.Slutsats: Båda typerna av träning var lika uppskattade enligt VAS, medan observationerna och intervjuerna visade att träningarna med vårdhund gav ökat välbefinnande. Då välbefinnande är en viktig faktor för motivation och aktivitet, är fler studier inom området av intresse eftersom träning med vårdhund förefaller vara en betydelsefull tillgång inom rehabilitering..

The aim of this study was to evaluate parents and course leaders'perceptions of ComHome, a course in communication for parents. Thecourse aims to change the interaction between the parent and the child in aselected play activity based on a defined goal and agreed methodology. Thedata consisted of four group interviews and an individual interview with atotal of 12 parents and course leaders. The interviews were transcribed andcontent analyzed. The study showed that parents and course leadersconsidered goal attainment scaling as a rewarding approach.

                                  The study aimed to explore how patients with ICDs experience their quality of life with a focus on everyday life, electric shocks, and how support from the health service is perceived. The studydesign is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven patients. Data collection lasted for three weeks and interviews were conducted in the participant´s homes, at the participants? workplaces or over the phone.The study shows that most participants have learned to live with the ICD.

I världen lever cirka 3-5 procent av befolkningen med det långvariga smärtsyndromet fibromyalgi. Det är svårt att finna behandlingar mot fibromyalgi då det inte finns någon vetenskap om vad som orsakar syndromet. Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att beskriva effekterna på smärta och hälsa av akupunkturbehandling hos personer med fibromyalgi samt beskriva kvaliteten av de valda artiklarnas metod. Studien utformades med en deskriptiv design där 11 vetenskapliga artiklar inkluderades och sammanställdes. Litteratursökningarna utfördes i databaserna Medline (PubMed) samt Cinahl.

Människors miljörelaterade beteenden behöver förbättras. I studien undersöktes unga vuxna universitetsstuderandes syn på klimatproblematiken. En enkät delades ut som mätte miljövänligt beteende, ansvarskänsla, tillit till forskning, upplevelse av att kunna påverka och kunskap när det gäller klimatproblematiken. Deltagarna fick också beskriva anledningar som möjliggör eller förhindrar en förbättring av klimatproblematiken. Deltog gjorde 97 personer.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka deltagares upplevelser av och tankar kring hästunderstödd terapi. Utifrån detta studerar vi hur hästunderstödd terapi är en del av socialt arbete. Detta har vi undersökt utifrån följande frågeställningar: ?Hur talar deltagarna om hästens roll och betydelse i den hästunderstödda terapin??, ?Hur beskriver deltagarna att hästens närvaro påverkar deras färdigheter och känslor?? och ?Hur upplever deltagarna hästunderstödd terapi som behandlingsmetod?? Studiens empiri härrör från intervjuer med fem deltagare i hästunderstödd terapi. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer som metod för insamling av data.

The purpose of this thesis is to increase the understanding about consumer buying behaviour when purchasing books online. In order to acquire data for the study we used a questionnaire that 75 students where asked to respond. The respondents were students at the University of Technology in Luleå. Our findings suggest that the following factors are the most commonly cited reasons for deciding to complete the purchase: trust, perceived risk, price, convenience, design of the website and experience. Previous studies have shown that there exists a gap between purchase intention and behavior in consumption situations. This gap is especially prevalent for sustainable or green products and even more so in terms of sustainable apparel consumption. Therefore, the adoption of sustainable fashion remains low as fast fashion dominates the industry. A counter-movement for mass consumption - access-based consumption - has reached the apparel industry and in Sweden we see it in the form of clothing libraries. This qualitative thesis uses in-depth interviews to uncover the feelings of seven consumers towards the idea of accessing rather than owning their clothing as a more sustainable consumption form, factoring in the strong identity connection that we have to our clothes and how this affects their perceptions.

Work has a great influence on most of individuals in society. It influences both identity as well as the structure of the day. Unemployed people are often affected in a negative way through economic and psychological problems. In order to help people with reduced work capacity back to the labour market and decrease unemployment, the Labour Market Board works with vocational rehabilitation. The aim of this study is to investigate experiences of vocational rehabilitation within the Labour Market Board among unemployed people.
