Syftet med den här studien var att studera relationerna mellan fysisk aktivitet, psykologiskt välbefinnande, självkänsla och arbetstillfredsställelse. Ett sekundärt syfte var att undersöka om måttlig intensitet av fysisk aktivitet är starkare korrelerat till de tre psykologiska begreppen än lätt och ansträngande intensitet. Studiens population (n=126) var mellan 26 och 65 år från ett sjukhus i södra Sverige. Fysisk aktivitet mättes genom Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire (Godin & Shepard, 1985), psykologisk välbefinnande genom Psychological Well-Being Scale (Ryff, 1989), självkänsla genom Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1989) och arbetstillfredsställelse genom skalan Arbetstrivsel (Hellgren, Sjöberg & Sverke, 1997 baserad på Brayfield & Rothe, 1951). Resultatet visade att arbetstillfredsställelse kan prediceras av fysisk aktivitet och psykologiskt välbefinnande, psykologisk välbefinnande kan prediceras av arbetstillfredsställelse och självkänsla och självkänsla kan prediceras av psykologiskt välbefinnande.

This study illustrates the views of working socialpedagogues when it comes to socialpedagogical and social work within compulsary schools. The focus of the study is on how social problems can be prevented and get noticed among children and youths in compulsary school, and what possibilities of development there are in preventive social work. The socialpedagogue?s capability for supporting this development, together with people that are important in the children?s and youths?s lifes, opens up new possibilities in the future for the social work in schools. The main concepts in the study is treatment and attitude, interaction and cooperation with different people inside and outside the school as well as individual- and grouporientated work.

The intention is to focus on the implementation of the tablet in preschools and how the intentions around the introduction of the tablet take shape in different preschools. The method is semi structured interviews where the respondents consist of 3 preschool directors and 6 teachers where the preschool directors work. This is a relevant subject to illustrate, as the tablet has become a tool in preschool where it seems to be different opinions about how it should be used. This study aims to understand how the implementation can take form in different preschools, what kind of similarities and differences we can see with the intentions of the tablet and if there is need of clarification on the workings of the tablets in preschools. The results show that the intentions around the introduction of the tablet in preschool look different in the preschools, and the implementation of this new technology starts in a small scale with help of photographing and videotaping.

The main purpose was to develop norms for the Five to fifteen questionnaire ? toddlers? version (FTF-S) in children aged 25?40 months. Apartial aim was to validate the language domain of the FTF-S against the linguistic scale in the test Bayley Scales of Infant Development ? thirdedition (Bayley-III). Another partial aim was to analyze parents' experiences of the FTF-S in order to provide suggestions for further development.

One of many difficult issues in veterinary medicine is the assessment of an animal's experience of pain. As a licensed veterinary nurse in Sweden you are obligated by law to work by the concept of evidence based medicine. To achieve this the author of this study sees the need for standardized methods of pain assessment. A Swedish version of Short form of the Glasgow Composite Measure Pain Scale (CMPS-SF) has recently been translated and developed. Furthermore, a psychometric validation needs to be performed to ensure its validity and reliability.

The role of the quality manager has evolved from being a quality controller to work with a more global business. Within many organizations in Sweden, however, the traditional role of the quality manager's remains and the tasks categorized as quality control still takes up most of the quality manager's time. The survey conducted as part of this master thesis shows that the quality manager in most businesses has multiple roles in addition to the role of quality manager, which can create a role conflict. One consequence of this is that each improvement is not given priority due to time constraints. Although the importance of a clear and committed leadership is the key for succeeding as the quality manager.

Vad som motiverar revisionsmedarbetare är ett viktigt ämne eftersom revisionsbyråerna behöver motivera och hålla kvar kvalificerad personal med hög kompetens för att upprätthålla god revisionskvalitet.Syftet med studien är att utforska och förklara vad som påverkar revisionsmedarbetares motivation. Studien avser dels att utforska kategoriseringen av motivationsfaktorer och dels att förklara vad som påverkar revisionsmedarbetares motivation. Med hjälp av en kombination av teorier och tidigare forskning inom motivation, arbetsglädje och work values samt resultatet från en pilotstudie, har en modell utvecklas som illustrerar olika motivationsfaktorer och vad som antas förklara dessa. För att testa modellen empiriskt har en enkätundersökning skickats till revisorsassistenter, godkända och auktoriserade revisorer samt partners, vilket resulterade i 276 fullständiga svar.Genom en explorativ faktoranalys har revisionsmedarbetares motivation delats in i fem komponenter; arbetet i sig, socialt stöd, belöningar, prestige och privatliv.

The aim of this essay is to give a picture of the extension work at Partille Public Library, asit is today, as well as to investigate if there is a need to reconsider the way of working at thelibrary.Qualitative interviews have been made with the extensive librarians and certain local governmentpoliticians, borrowers and personnel at hospitals as well as other institutions.The extension work at Partille Public Library corresponds quite well to the intentions whichare stated for the work in certain important investigations made by the Government. Theborrowers and the personnel are quite satisfied with the work and are only pointing out a fewviews on changes. Introduction: Anxiety and depression are common among patients enrolled in psychiatric outpatient care. Ear Acupuncture is an alternative form of treatment that has been shown to relieve anxiety and depression in previous studies.Aim: To evaluate ear acupuncture as a group treatment for depression and anxietyMethod: A psychiatric outpatient clinic has been offering group treatments with ear acupuncture for anxiety and depression for 5 weeks. Participants of the study have answered self-rating scales Montgomery Åsberg Depression Rating Scale, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Sheehan Disability scale before and after the treatment period. Material was collected in the period 2008-2012 and has been analyzed in SPSS.Results: Data from 31 patients were included in the study. The results from the study showed a significant difference, between the measurements before and after treatment, with a reduction of the average values in the three different scales.Summary: From this study, it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the effect of ear acupuncture.

Through observations of the childrens play, I have made notes of all activities at the pre-school playground. The intention of the observations was to see if the playground environment invites and stimulate the childs motorie development. The study will be a part of a future planning work of the preschool environment.The results show that the pre-school playground environment invites to physical activities that stimulate the childs motory development. The variation of activities is dependent on the design of the landscapes. The pedagogues taking part of the childrens activities are one of the factors which contributed to the childs choice of activity.The preschool plays an important part in the childrens development so it is important that all personnel have basic knowledge on the importance of outdoor activities.Keywords: Fundamental movement, motorie development, preschool playground, outdoor enviroment.

Endurance training in the heat for firefighters - a pilote study Acklimatisering är en psykologisk och fysisk process då en anpassning till en ny eller förändrad omgivning sker efter en regelbunden exponering till en viss miljö. Träning för att främja värmeacklimatisering för rökdykare förespråkas av arbetsskyddsstyrelsen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om 6 veckors ergometercykling i bastu påverkar upplevd ansträngning, toleransen för värme och uthållighet vid rökdykningsövning. Testgruppen bestod av 7 rökdykare. Vår intervention bestod av 6 veckors ergometercykling i bastu vid 70ºC 2 gånger i veckan à 20 minuter.

The aim of this study was to gain a greater understanding of what social workers perceive to be mentally demanding and emotionally challenging work, and which strategies they use to handle it. I chose to interview six social workers, three of them had long experience of social work, and three of them had worked for less than a year. The justification for this choice wasthat I wanted to interview people with different experience of social work over time, to be able to see possible differences in what was perceived as mentally demanding and emotionally challenging work, and how it was handled. The social workers were interviewed with a semi structured interview manual.The results showed that the organization of the social service is not fitted to the work that social workers execute. This means that what is perceived as mentally demanding and emotionally challenging work largely depends on this.

The aim of this essay is to examine how people living in the Swedish countryside looked upon changes in the interiors through modernization in 1850-90. For the first time, there was an abundance of objects available in stores in the countryside that the majority of the population had money buy. Many novelties were introduced in the interior decoration of ordinary peoples´ homes. This study focuses on the introduction and use of wallpaper and is based on a questionnaire about wallpaper sent from the Nordiska museet, National museum of Culture history in Sweden, to people all over Sweden in 1948. 148 people responded to the questions about use and attitudes toward wallpaper during the second half of the 19th century.My theoretical perspective is cultural diffusion, the spread of cultural items, more specific the diffusion of innovations from larger to smaller places, often influenced by social elites, hierarchical diffusion, and between individuals, contagious diffusion.The analytical perspective used for the analysis is based on the concepts of basic and variable modernity, initiated by the historian Sven-Eric Liedman.
