Uppsatsens problemformulering beskriver kategorisering som fenomen och dess konsekvenser på samhällsstrukturen. De mest etablerade och explicita kategorierna ? man och kvinna ? ses som ett resultat av de kategoriseringsprocesser som ständigt pågår. Strukturernas och kategoriernas existens och reproduktion finns i alla sociala samspel, och min huvudsakliga hypotes är att en viktig del i reproduktionen av våra könsidentiteter utgörs av det arv vi ger till barn. Denna studie syftar till att belysa huruvida det finns ett signifikant sätt att skildra könsidentiteter i barnböcker.

This study examines journalism student?s information use atSödertörn University during the writing process of theirbachelor thesis. The students are divided in two groupsfollowing the schools main bachelor programs majoring injournalism.The method used in this study has been a reference analysisof the student?s bibliographies along with five semistructuredinterviews. The study stems upon a socioculturalperspective and drives the thesis that information use is asituated activity.

The security in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) has not been considered very reliable, but new standards and protocols have been developed to enhance the security in WLAN. Since most wireless components soon will have built in support for wireless communication, it is important to have a model to deal with secure wireless communication ready. This is necessary because it is important to protect the company?s information related systems, ensure contingency in the daily work and maintaining the trust of the market and the authorities.

Sustainable urban development is a concept that has become increasingly important as the urbanization continues and more and more challenges are focused to the cities.  The Swedish government and authorities regulates and sets goals for how a sustainable urban development is to be achieved. These laws and goals are vaguely defined, which leads to disputes between the actors about how the term should be interpreted. By examining Västermalms Strand, an urban development project in Stockholm, this study strives to describe how involved actors interpret the concept of sustainable urban development and what the consequences of this are for urban development in Stockholm from an ecological, social and economic perspective. A case study has been carried out where a document study and interviews have been conducted. The interviews were conducted with four key actors from the private and public sector.

Den statliga sjöfarten idag är ett område med många inblandade myndigheter och en oklar uppgiftsfördelning. Det är även svårt att se hur väl organiseringen av den statliga sjöfarten är uppbyggd för att klara en kris eller ett krig. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur effektiv den statliga sjöfarten är vid en kris, hur väl kraven för maritim säkerhet uppfylls och hur försvarsmaktens roll i den statliga sjöfartenI formen av en fallstudie med en teoretiskt deduktiv ansats och en kvalitativ textanalys appliceras Graham Allisons organisationsteori och teori om maritim säkerhet på den statliga sjöfarten. Empirin är i form av förordningar, instruktioner och reglerbrev som är ställda på respektive myndighet.Undersökningen visar att dagens organisering av den statliga sjöfarten inte är optimal för att verka vid en kris och kraven för maritim säkerhet uppfylls, men förbättringspunkter föreligger. En slutsats är att en närmare samverkan mellan myndigheterna skulle lösa många av de problem som idag existerar.

This study was carried out at Luftfartsverket (LFV Group, SwedishAirports and Air Navigation Services), AstraZeneca and Svenska Spel. The purpose of the study was to examine and compare how these companies work towards becoming, and maintaining to be, an employer of choice. Facts were sought about the companies and their work to become an employer of choice.To get a discerning and profound picture, a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews with twelve key persons in this work was conducted. The method Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was used for analysis.The results showed that an amount of factors have an input on how attractive the employer is. Common were compensation and benefits, competence development, leadership, information and health-related activities.

Vi har gjort en vetenskaplig studie som berör bland annat marknadsföring, organisation och hälsa. Undersökningen genomförts som en kvalitativ fallstudie där tre olika företag har utgjort empirisk data. De metoder vi använt oss av är intervju, observation, dokumentstudier och informationen har analyserats med hjälp av tillämplig teori och egna erfarenheter. En organisations interna klimat och miljö påverkar den enskilda individens prestation och upplevda situation. Individen i sin tur är en viktig del av företagets olika kontaktytor med omvärlden.

 The 1st of July 2006 Sweden made a change of authorities in the system concerning the reception of separated asylum seeking children. Prior to the change, the Swedish Board of Migration was held completely responsible for the reception of these children, who arrives in Sweden without their parents or any other relatives to care for them. Since the alteration of the law (1994:137) the responsibility for the housing of these children now lies within the Swedish municipalities, while the Board of Migration still handles their legal commissions. The change was intended to fundamentally improve the conditions under which these children were taken care of. However the implementation took a severe wrong turn when the municipalities weren't prepared for their new responsibilities and the immediate result was alarming. This qualitative study is based upon interviews with the people responsible for the reception of the separated asylum seeking children in the municipalities of Kronobergs County, as well as one of the two people in charge of the new system at the Swedish Board of Migration.

This thesis investigates techniques for stealth hydroacoustic communication using spread spectrum. The Swedish naval defense organisations have a vision that all their units should be able to communicate with each other, even between underwater vehicles. But the properties of water makes it a complex channel to use for wireless communications. Radiomagnetic waves have very limited range in water, therefore acoustic waves are used. In this report the basics of wireless communication systems are described including source coding, channel coding, modulation techniques as well as different techniques for spread spectrum.

The frame extends to government agencies and authorities in the Swedish public sphere, and aims to identify ulterior motives for their work with branding.Method/Material: The material used in this thesis consists 102 graphic manuals for government agencies in the Swedish public sector. I denna rapport ställer vi frågan: Hur ser processen ut för insamling av erfarenheter från en organisations verksamhetsprocesser? Vi antar att det finns en optimal insamlingsprocess som inte överensstämmer med den existerande insamlingsprocessen. Syftet är att ge en idé till riktlinjer för hur en optimal insamlingsprocess kan konstrueras. Vi har gjort vår empiriska studie på en enhet i Försvarsmakten. I studien har vi koncentrerat oss på processägare och processaktörer.

The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate and to explain the concept of folksonomy in the perspective of knowledge organisation. By creating a conceptual explanation and defining what folksonomy as a concept consists of, the intent is to establish a basis for evaluating folksonomy and to discuss what relevance folksonomy may have in the field of knowledge organisation. By applying a qualitative content analysis a review is performed on how folksonomy is perceived and discussed in a selection of articles written on the subject. Employing the theory of classification, subject indexing and bibliographic retrieval, folksonomy as a method for knowledge organisation is analysed. The practice of tagging in existing systems is also studied.

Den här uppsatsen syftar till att beskriva hur en federation fattar beslut och arbetar med strategier och visioner. En fallstudie har gjorts på Länsförsäkringar för att jämföra hur beslutsvägar ser ut och hur förankrade strategier och visioner är i verksamheten. Resultatet av studien visar på att det finns en väl beskriven form för beslutsvägar och beslutsforum. Dock är dessa vägar och forum relativt sett okända i verksamheten vad gäller deras syften och innehåll. Strategier och vision vet de flesta i organisationen att de finns och arbete bedrivs löpande med dessa som grund.

Syftet med studien är att förstå hur den utvalda organisationen arbetar mångfaldsfrämjande vid rekrytering och tar tillvara på de egenskaper mångfalden bidrar till. Studien baseras på en empirisk undersökning där en kvalitativ metod i form av informantintervjuer i kombination med en dokumentstudie ligger till grund. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för studien baseras kring två stora huvudområden för studien: rekrytering och mångfald. Där författarna Lindelöw (2008) och Fägerlinds (2012) tankar och teorier till största del har använts i bakgrunden och resonemangen. Studien visar att organisationen har verktyg och metoder för att främja mångfald i organisationen vid rekrytering, men att cheferna har kommit olika långt i sina verksamheter med mångfalden.

This study aims to analyse the Swedish Armed Forces website. Through a content analysis with a gender- and organisational culture perspective the study attempts to see how the Swedish Armed Forces portrays women and men. The Swedish Armed Forces is one of the strongest masculine gender coded organisations in our time. Distance caused by gender roles between women and men has been a problem within the organisation, and at the same time they have expectation?s from the society to alter these problems.
